I've had a loan for less than a year through SeedFi managed by SST - Systems & Services Technologies.
Since the loan origination, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (throat, esophagus, liver) and fell a month behind in payments with huge medical bills (now caught up). I received daily emails from SST to which I would respond that I am unable to speak by phone presently because of my circumstances. I would receive a rude, snarky response that no accounts are managed by email and they demand a phone conversation. Then came the threatening letters that I was refusing to respond by phone and they would refer the account to collections. For being 2 weeks late on one payment.
I am awaiting the closing of a piece of real estate and indeed to pay this off immediately.
I have taken all of their correspondence and mine and sent it to my state Attorney General to report their business practices and also to the FTC.
Run as far as you can and as fast as you can from this predatory company.
Apparently no one can read who works there.

Great experience, I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a little help sometimes, they did everything they said they would!!!!!!

Was Scammed out of a bunch of money. They are Scammers. They closed an account I was paying into for a supposed loan and for credit reporting. They closed my account with 0 refund of all payments made.

Absolutely I would never suggest this to anybody. This is bull crap. I reached out to Seed Fi in 2022 trying to build my credit with their credit builder loan that they do with Credit Karma. I did it for the full year the 500 in rotation and yes it raised my credit score but when I was ready to close out the account because I was satisfied with my 715 credit score I close it out and it drops my credit score 74 points. Lower than it was when I began. Absolutely worthless. I definitely do not recommend.

I orginally had the borrow and grow program until SST took over. No notification except a letter. SST is plain AWFUL. Couldn't get account info, the amounts were incorrect when they took over. They take over a week to post a payment and tell you it didn't clear the bank yet. I have paid off my loan and they will not release my savings. There are MULTIPLE people with this issue.. its like SST stole our money period.

Never ever deal with Seedfi…. It is a bait and switch operation. I tried it for small monthly amount in June 2022. It went perfect and then they bombard you with reasons not to send you your savings Check and why you should sign up for a 24 month savings contract that you can’t get out of & is switched immediately before you have clue what button you accidentally swiped. They lock you in for longer and longer terms when it is time for you to collect your credit builder accounts saying that your account will be reported as closed to the credit bureaus and ding your credit. They offer to roll your savings over to new term effortlessly so you will not have a closed account reported to your credit file. You are paying these people 29% interest to save your own money and report to Credit bureau. Don’t ever in a million years do this. Someone is living large on the interest of your savings because you want to build credit history…. Don’t ever do this. When they roll you over to longer terms the immediately sell your loan to a different company (read the reviews.. they do this repeatedly with different companies and cash out) The roll you over to 24 month + terms and sell these long term commitments to trash debt companies like SST (System and Services Technology Inc. - an overseas phone bank of non-thinkers reading scripts, no decision making authority individuals, who are paid to pull any piece of info to ruin your credit at any second) and you can’t ever cancel unless you pay all 24 months savings at one time. The also compound the interest daily that you ow them so if you don’t pay on your exact due date you accumulate a debt to these companies for holding your savings and paying 1 day after your due date. This should be illegal. Any bill you have should be mandated to report to credit bureaus. If you pay your bills should get credit for them all. Because companies use expected payments as business collateral, but the poor or responsible individuals who live below or beneath their means get dinged for not being in debt. Stay off this predatory rat wheel and don’t use any of them to save your money. Ava is probably the only one that actually has any value or ethics. Run as fast as you can. As for SST, It is absolutely predatory rude trash. Don’t register your info with them. Don’t give addresses, phone numbers, jobs, nothing!!! They are hoping to add predatory interests debt to your savings payments and ruin your credit at any second. So, the entire reason you went to seedfi was to build a credit history and you will get used and burned. Relative, friends, mentors can add you to their long lines of credit as authorized users or purchase tradelnes to extend your credit history. My goal was to be debt free and achieved it early. I did not realize that all good credit history falls off your credit reports in seven years also. No matter what your assets or achievements you will be dinged for not staying in debt. So, just always keep a $5 debt. You will get more advantages for a $1 repeatedly carried debt than being debt free. I promise you! Don’t go down any roads of credit builder loans/savings or secured cards… you will be paying for for some lazy grifting predators lifestyle with your savings and interest.
I will pay this off asap and never ever go down this road again….Run!

SeedFi is great at first... but then they sell your account to another company that provides ZERO customer service and makes it very hard to access your information and doesn't answer the phone and is downright evil.

Seedfi was fine. it's when intuit took over credit the problem began ii wasn't speaking bad about seedfi.so I don't know if they bought and kill seedfi.to control the credit building which they now call credit builder.

They sold my loan to an illegal looking scam company SST. I'm not sure how it's even legal, and tbh it most likely IS NOT LEGAL AT ALL and they're just counting on people not having the money to sue. Google warns SST's website comes up as "unsecured", it has no security certificate. It looks like it was made in 1990. This website is an identity theft red alert. Nobody answers the phone and they aren't keeping to the original contact. They're adding automatic late fee's, despite the fact my auto payments never stopped, so I've never been late. They're not reporting on time payments to the credit agencies like they're supposed to in the original loan contract. They aren't charging interest correctly. My loan was sold out from under me despite the fact I never missed a payment. I chose to do business with Seedfi, not some shady barely legitimate company. Seedfi should be sued into the ground.

Much like the others. I set up the Borrow and Grow loan with Seedfi thinking this will be great and give me the ability to build up a positive payment history and save money. Seemed like a win/win, but Seedfi had other plans and sold out the loan to a debt collector who has proceeded to mark me late on my credit every month even though their website says differently. I have been fighting with them for months but still to no avail. Just got another late notice today 5/8/2023. I am at a loss as to why they are not even trying to be helpful. Their customer service is a joke and they know nothing. This is beyond crazy!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE I URGE YOU TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SEEDFI!! Seedfi illegally transferred my 'Barrow and Grow' plan to a company under moniker SST in December 2022. This account has been neglected since Seedfi transferred it to SST due to SST system being incredibly wrong and inaccurate which they are blaming me for!? As of May 2023, it is now negatively impacting my credit due to SST not getting the correct payment history for my account from Seedfi when they transferred it. At the same time this account was transferred from Seedfi to SST--SST online website/system was not even up and running yet AND NO ONE COULD MAKE ANY PAYMENTS FOR 2 MONTHS!! On top of that, SST cs team was absolutely harrasing with debt calls when it was their fault that the payments couldnt be made because their system was not up and running!! They say, well we take calls--but in this day and age, how can you trust a company who you literally cannot understand and they are making you seem like the bad guy when they had just got my account!! It literally freaked me out!!

I have records of all the payments I've made for this loan to Seedfi, but SST does not want to hear it and are refusing to see my payments nor update my balance to the correct amount. I am BEYOND disappointed in Seedfi for doing this and am currently looking into legal options to sue. I HIGHLY recommend others do the same. Seedfi is legitimately scamming people with these loans and then transferring them out without any prior notice to the borrower. And when I've reached out to Seedfi, they don't want to hear about it and literally do not care.

It is BEYOND unprofessional, negligent and untrustworthy!! I feel absolutely saddned that I trusted Seedfi. This whole siruation has ruined this experience for me and I'll never try it again!! I was doing my part and Seedfi dipped out and took advantage of me. SST is a giant mess and I honestly do not even understand HOW people are dealing with them. They are so lost and don't know what they're doing.

If you are looking for money options and YOU ARE A STANDUP PERSON WHO TAKES CARE OF THEIR ISH--DO NOT DEAL WITH SEEDFI!!!

This seedfi is a total wrecked. You’re paying a loan for the amount that you didn’t received. You only received the almost just half of the amount supposedly you loan from them and you will pay for 50 months.
I just realized it how they scam us .

They keep telling me they are with the better business bureau but doing research on it , they really aren’t. I just want to end this ordeal I closed my bank account that was connected to them in fear that they are stealing my money yes I know I’m going to take a major hit on my credit but could we try to put together a class action suit against these thieves , I have nowhere to turn and I refuse to forfeit $260 a month to them

I have been paying into a credit builder account for a year. I get an email today saying my account is going to be terminated because Credit Karma "acquired" SeedFi and I would need to reapply which means they will do yet another pull on my credit. This is absurd that customers have to be punished because a bigger company decided to "acquire" SeedFi. We should not have to reapply and put our credit on the line yet again. I DO NOT recommend them and it's for this simple issue because this has taken all my trust away from them and I now have 0 trust in them. If they're going to do this, who's to say they won't do something else at a later time that will affect their consumers. Also, the whole time I've been logging into SeedFi for my account, the heading of the website has always said "Credit Karma Credit Builder" right at the top. So I guess I'm confused as to why it has always said that but then now we're just being told Credit Karma acquired them. Fishy.

First off, SeedFi has turned over everything to a scam company called SST.
SeedFi took the entire amount of my loan out of my account just before SST took over. I have tried for eight months to get my loan set back to where it was but SST does nothing, they even tell me to keep paying on the "savings" part of the Seed Fi loan. They literally told me to make payments on money I don't have all while stealing my money. SST are con artists and thieves.

I came into contact with SeedFi for a "borrow and grow plan" in 2021-2022. I was extremely satisfied with the loan rates, and customer service I was provided at the time. Fast forward to the end of 2022, early January of 2023, I was contacted by SeedFi stating that my account will no longer be serviced by them, stating they would be transferring the account to a third-party agency, SST. On SeedFi's page, and I quote, "3.AutoPay will continue to work as usual."

Something was wrong about a few weeks later, when SST was calling me at least 4 times a day while at work, and at home after 9 PM. I was informed that I was past-due, and I was going to be reported delinquent to credit reporting agencies. I explained to them that auto-pay was on, and they stated it was not. Auto pay was in fact on when I received the transfer notice from both parties, since they were taking bi-weekly withdrawals from my checking account.

I ended up having to pay 1.5 months payments just to stay current, all due to being misinformed by SeedFi. I lost my credit building privileges when they transferred the account to the collection agency. I am also receiving collection e-mails to this day from SST, even though my account was and is still current.

I will not recommend this company to anybody.

They transfered me to some company called SST.. i Paid off my loan in full, now it's been over 35 days and still no savings received. Wow this company is horrible!!!

Seedfi sold account to SST. Deposit has been held up over 30 days. No one, not SST nor Seedfi nor Cross River Bank will take responsibility and release my money. Seedfi is absolute trash to deal with. Stay as far away as you possibly can.

For more than 30 days, I have been waiting to receive my money. Sst has been evasive in their responses and have even hung up on me multiple times. They have now informed me that seedfi is holding onto my funds and not releasing them. However, when I contacted seedfi, they denied the claim and advised me to contact Sst. Both companies have promised to escalate my case, but neither can provide me with a definite timeline for receiving my money.

I paid my loan off and was promised my savings by the 22nd of March almost 30 days later I still don't have my savings of almost $1,700. Sst is making a million excuses and has my savings locked. So I need a lawyer to sue them. I will never use this company again.
