My experience with SG started back in April 2021

(Update: To the many people taking this company to court. After speaking with a local bailiff who is well acquainted with this company. They informed me that the "fake address" shall we say that is registered on google and on the contracts are in fact the accountant's address for SG. If you go to court its worth mentioning this and once a CCJ from court has been obtained the bailiff said there is no point in filing a Warrant of Control as its a waste of time as they can't issue it to the incorrect address. Go straight to a recovery/high court bailiff team. They can easily obtain the actual address and have more legal rights to getting your money back.

Where to even begin! I had a front and back door fitted by Securi Glaze. Days after our doors installation issues arose. Over the course of just under 2 years we had so many problems it was laughable. These included leaks, dropped/faulty hinges and a myriad of other things all due to the door frame being fitted askew and poor workmanship. I had to contact them many times to report more problems and they would come out and do very very little to rectify things.

The company stopped trying to help once it was apparent they were to blame and I started receiving excuse after excuse as to why they weren't going to do anything.The owner tried to guilt me saying how they have to do these fixes for free, and he tried to blame it on anything but himself or his companies work. After he exhausted every excuse he could think of he then blocked me on Facebook when I posted about the issues on his work page asking for him to get in touch as he was ignoring messages.

After seeking the advice of multiple professionals they all confirmed my issues were due to the frame installation. The front door even became such a health and safety and security risk I had to get it replaced. The owner then fabricated so many excuses I ended up taking him to court and attained a CCJ against him, even though the owner once again tried making this as difficult as possible, trying to claim he wasn't receiving letters that were being sent recorded etc. and then he didn't show when the court date finally came. Still awaiting my refund and will be escalating it further if he doesn’t pay.

Don't always trust people recommendation for a company. Also do your research first and keep copies and documentation of all conversations.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! AWFUL QUALITY AND AFTER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!

Absolutely shocking! Avoid at all costs!

Initially Sam was great, responded really quickly.

Then it all went wrong…

My windows were damage and they still are. Sam demanded payment on incomplete/faulty jobs.

We painted the outside of our house a few months after the windows were installed, only to find they weren’t even sealed!!!

Tried telling me I needed to vent my windows every night buy opening them because I complained about the condensation causing mould on the inside. Windows were and still are whistling when the wind blows.
Threatening and unprofessional texts when I had not paid for the job when it was incomplete saying I had signed contracts when I hadn’t.

Worst of all, he is now ghosting me when I have asked for FENSA certificates so clearly shows the work is shoddy as they claimed they have registered the job but nothing on FENSA website

Trading standards will be informed

At the beginning we thought they had done a great job ,but down the line only 2 to 3 years the back door was leaking was told that if I had an Allan key I could do it myself to tighten it but didn't, weeks passed they hadn't turned up to fix ,so got a experience door fitter to fix the problem , now I've found mould inside the door window frame riddled with mould inside the outer frame came off with ease with hardly any sealant on it ,all I can say is poor quality door is a nice way to put it wouldn't recommend at all will probably have to replace in a year or two

Excellent from start to finish. Sam responded quickly to my initial request. Adam came and fitted my doors. He did a great job. It looks fab and he was a pleasure to have in my home.
I’ll be back for my new front door in due course!

Rang for a quote . Came two days later . Measured doors. I knew what i wanted so that was quick and easy. Doors ready less than 5 weeks from ordered. The door fitter was very pleasant and polite. Took just about 4 hours to fit. Little mess and he cleaned up after himself. Doors look great .

Sam at Securi Glaze was recommended and did not disappoint.
He listened to what we wanted and offered constructive advice .
Our door was fitted 3 weeks after ordering and we are delighted.
Definitely will use again .

Sam and his team were incredibly helpful right from ordering through to installation and even some aftercare! When choosing my door, Sam advised well on timescales and what was/wasn’t available, we picked a date for installation and his contractors were lovely and fitted the door well. The knocker for my door which I ordered separately hadn’t arrived in time but Sam arranged for this to be fitted at a later date without any question. Would definitely recommend him and the team, thanks Sam!

If you want a company with zero customer care, shoddy workmanship (happy to provide pictures), look no further. I had a rockdoor fitted, which constantly leaked and did not fit the frame. Despite several attempts to contact Sam he constantly ignored me. I then contacted rockdoor direct, who were amazing ! They arranged for an alternative company to refit the door which is now fully functional.

Please avoid this company! When thungs go wrong, Sam does not want to know you !!!AVOID AVOID AVOID

I took up the 2 door offer advertised and had 4 extra windows as well. Sam came out to measure up. He was very helpful and knowledgable. We agreed a price and he said it would usually be a 3 week wait. Within 2 weeks I was advised the doors and windows were ready and agreed a 2 day fitting period. The two fitters who came were absolutely superb. Quick, efficient and very tidy, removing all old windows and doors and debris. They did an excellent job of fitting the 2 doors and windows, working quickly and hard to complete within the agreed period. I paid the full amount for the job on completion. First class service all round and throughout the process. The job has transformed the property and all for a competitive price. I have since had a slight problem with the side door handle. I contacted Sam and this was immediately dealt with, a fitter coming out within 5 days.
Will use Securi Glaze again in the future.

Absolutely smashing service with this company, excellent communication throughout. Due to a larger side window to a door, I was given great advice on how to tackle this with some advice from the guy measuring up - what would look good and what would look rubbish
The fitter ryan was spot on, couldn't fault the guy-on time, Dedicated to what he does and did a great job. Minimal mess and even cleaned up after himself, which is a rarity with some tradesmen

Sam was very helpful and very prompt from the word go. I had a really informative face to face consultation and my door and porch were fitted 2 weeks later. The lads that came to fit it, Mark and Ryan, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and I could not be happier with the job they have done. Brilliant service, excellent product. Timely and efficient installation. Highly recommended. Plus a year after installation had slightly issue with handle getting getting bit stiff, they came out the next day (after I contacted them evening before) and problem all sorted by lunchtime 👍. Very customer friendly and fantastic ongoing support.

DO NOT USE this company!! Shocking from start to finish. They are quick to take your money but when there is a problem they do not respond. Securi glaze fitted our 6m bi folds, sky lantern, 3 windows and a back door. The bi folds had so many issues... taking months to sort out... they didn't even screw the frame in, so the whole frame moved when pushed... they didn't fit the magnets on the doors either. My text messages, whatsapp messages were read and just ignored for weeks and weeks. Eventually we got hold of Sam and he arranged for his men to come out and sort the issues. Which they did... but the magnets on one side of the bi folds dont even meet together.. so is pretty pointless. Really shocking workmanship.
Then the back door did exactly the same. The handle was so stiff, the frame would move and it didn't lock from the outside only the inside. This was then another waiting game for Sam to reply. Whilst waiting I messaged one of his workers which had been with us previously who said that he walked out of the job as Sam was horrific to work for, owed him money, he also said that I was not the only customer that was having issues with Sam and that are waiting for problems to be rectified. He said to beware of the Sam and his cowboy company.
During all this my husband had received a cancer diagnosis so this was a horrific time already for me and my family and Sam new of the situation but still decided to ignore my messages. We still have a back door that cannot be locked from the outside, so we cannot use it like we would like to. Sam has also taken photos of my property and the work they carried out stating HAPPY CUSTOMER... which is laughable when we are far from happy!!

Message to Sam. Please respond to my messages.. otherwise this is getting taken further.

Sam from securiglaze was friendly, approachable and incredibly helpful in the choosing the perfect door for our needs.

The ordering was quick and easy and installation was not long after. Ryan and Mark did a lovely job of installing. Mark finished the installation and was thorough and hoovered up any mess and quite a lot from my little girls biscuits. He was also very patient and friendly with my little girl, which is very much appreciated.

After a month the lock became a little stiff as the door had moved and securiglaze were back within 48hrs to readjust the lock.

I have already recommended securiglaze to neighbours and will definitely use them again.

I needed a window fitting quite urgently while other work was going on in the house. Sam came out and measured up and ordered the window the same day. The fitting was amazing, I had just had the bathroom tiled and was worried that the tiles around the window would be damaged but it was all done perfectly. We have since had a small issue with the handle which again was resolved without delay. Would definitely recommend and I would certainly use again.

Had sam and his team fit a full house for us, service was outstanding, brilliant lads, and the job was as neat as it could come. Well impressed. Thank you
