Contacted them recently about large number of sewage discharges in Scotland.

Despite the huge wages of the executive their reply was totally useless.

Failed to answer why so many sewage discharges. Why executives executives get such excessive wages for Failures

Impressed by customer support, speed of dealing with problem. Well done.

Was unable to locate our toby (mains water shut off) in the street. Turns out it had become covered in dirt and debris due to where it was located.
Called the help line and spoke with a lovely lady to explain our problem and how it was delaying essential work in our home. She explained the process and who would be contacting me to progress the issue.
I received a call back (from John) and he explained in detail what would be done to assist me, including a visit to my property if required. As it turned out, this was not necessary as John guided me to the precise hidden location of the toby using Google Maps and Scottish Water schematics. Problem resolved within 10-15 minutes.

Adam Wilson and Davey Taylor came earlier than expected at 9am to unblock a sewage pipe that had become blocked by wipes. They were full of information about what they were doing, and didn't take long at all to finish the task. The job they did was free of charge, which is amazing. We were very grateful for a job well done. Thanks Guys! We know to call Scottish Water right away if it gets blocked in future, but hopefully we won't need to get their help for a long time.

I have just had Jordan Robertson from Scottish Water come to unblock the pipe outside my home, he went over and above to make sure everything was working for me. Thank you Jordan your work ethics and attitude are excellent, Scottish Water are very lucky to have you as an employee. Pauline Kane

When I initially joined them I set up a direct debit. They then proceeded to take over £700 from my bank account. I called them to rectify their mistake, but they couldn't refund it. I had to contact my bank to cancel the transaction. They then did exactly the same thing again! In the end I cancelled all direct debits and had to pay these morons manually every month.

Over a 2/3 year period have been constantly let down by Scottish Water at all levels though to CEO who accept that sewage system on road is not coping but refuse to invest to carry out necessary repairs. Very little is open to customers around decision making process and I have real concerns about how this utility company is held to account by Scottish Government

Thank you so much for fixing a burst trunk main pipe last night and through to today. The workers worked so hard to fix it including having to excavate to get to the pipe. Was giving 16 1.5ltr bottles of water last night. I'm sure the whole of North East Dundee appreciate the hard work as much as I do.

On Sunday 2nd October a large mains water pipe fractured in Eyemouth, Scottish Borders releasing gallons of water to the local river and meaning our estate of around 80 homes were without water.
I called Scottish Water and, after a delay of a couple of minutes, logged the incident and was told an engineer was on route.
The first engineer was on site within an hour and, as we went to bed with no water, the repair team worked their magic and we woke up to a restored water supply.
It's easy to criticise public utilities but on this occasion I cannot fault the service received. The burst main could not have been predicted and all was sorted in approx 18 hours - a superb response and thank you Scottish Water!

well after messing me about for over a year on lead pipe replacement and operative tell me you people have loads of money it make him sick. Well im asian and think it well racist complained nothing actioned. Also promised 28 day replacement 2 time just ignored causing a shop i redeveloping to get in trouble financially for all the incompetence worst company uk, Also disabled so dont help disabled people at all and not just one operative as racist everytime someone vistited got racist comments on being racist not fair

I would just like to thank Scottish water so much,,,,my 87 year old mother in-law had a choked drain at the back of her house in Rattray PH10,,I phoned Scottish water and they were there an hour later,,,the guy from Dundee (never got his name)was so nice to my mother in-law and cleared the drain no problem,,, Thanks again Scottish it's great to have a company and workers like you on hand for us all,,, Thanks

Useless and Inept beyond belief, have kept a busy road closed because they are to LAZY to fix it and
hide behind their Statuary Rights, would like to see
how they would get on in the Private Sector have seen
faster Sloths and best off all when I contacted them
they were pathetic enough to deny they Roadworks
at the location

Phoned Scottish Water after noticing a waste flood in my garden! Luckily caught in time coz 2 years ago when it last happened, was heart-breaking with a private company doing the job and leaving my garden in a mess!!! Anyway, was told by Scottish water that they would come out 3 days later! I was freaking out as whenever my sons used the toilet or shower, the flood kept running like a disease! Was given a ref number if things went really alarming however, within a fraction of 1 hour, a really lovely gentleman called David Kellas phoned me saying he would be with me in 20 mins and so he did!!! He single handily carried out a job in 30 mins a job that took the private company 3 hrs or so!! We kept interacting and he was just a brilliant man who loves his job and goes on about it like a dream!! Meanwhile, we noticed that this job wasn't even supposed to be handled by Scottish water as it was on the property and my private landlord should have known better instead of asking me to call Scottish water, shame!!! Anyway, I am smiling today because I can't believe how fast things got handled. THANK YOU SCOTTISH WATER. THANK YOU DAVID KELLAS>>>>simply the best.

Is Scottish Water a thing that actually exists?

Three years of battling with Scottish Water! My premises are being charges twice by both Southern water as a domestic property and Scottish water as a commercial property all through the same one meter. Each company says I have to contact the other with neither assuming any responsibility for their actions. Hours on the phone, no one turning up for arranged surveys, they couldn't care less. After todays phone call I am going to stop bothering and wait for a judge to decide in court.

After extensive & evasive work on the street to raise the, already unusually high, kerbs......another harebrain temporary fix courtesy of Scottish Water fails again ...the street begins to flood.
No point in calling these cowboys though, as they've refused to listen or fix the ACTUAL issue in over 10 years.
NO care for the houses that will flood tonight AGAIN.
NO care for the damage that will be caused tonight AGAIN.
NO coherent plans to fix the real issue AGAIN.
Ongoing now for well over 10 years; FFS Scottish Water just do the work! Fix the BL®®DY drains!

Despite their worthy claims on the poral, this publicly owned network has not replied to my complaint on their contracted septic tank clearance scheduled for October, 2021 despite my weekly phone calls. Most recent "reason" two weeks ago was they are trying to schedule it... Now, about to enter a new year, that's three months overdue. Even their PR team does not respond.

Scottish water let me down again after a week of waiting for them to call me back with an emergency septic tank empty. They have now left me with blocked and backing up drains over the Christmas period, saying there is nobody there to take calls now until Wednesday next week and then hanging up on me mid-call! Very helpful with 7 people in the house including 4 small children!

Extremely poor service. Failed to empty septic tank in September. Promised they’d be back in a couple of weeks. It’s now 3rd December and my several calls were dealt with very politely but I never get the promised call back from the septic tank dept. Very frustrating as none of their difficulties and failures stopped them billing me for the emptying that never took place.

Have had call to use Scottish Water a few times over the years and recently regarding a suspected sewer issue in the road outside my home. Contact has always been friendly and efficient from all staff with the response time in each case being above expectations, and the matters resolved satisfactorily.
