The London Scoliosis SOS Clinic changed my life.
The London Scoliosis SOS Clinic changed my life. In 2019 I was getting breathless and told within a couple of years I might need oxygen. I phoned the clinic and asked if at my advanced age (then 79) they could help. They said they had an 80-year-old man already on oxygen who came off it after treatment. I signed up immediately and started a month's course with a couple weeks break in the middle to accommodate their schedule.
My breathing improved, my posture improved - so much so that people I didn't see that often noticed.
The classes were hard work but fun, and after the course we were sent home with equipment needed to carry on with daily specific exercise regimes.
Every 6 months now I continue to attend a 2 or 3 hour 1:1 session. In the first years it was with Adam, last couple with Finty, most recently 18 August 2025. These are valuable follow-ups to monitor progress, finesse performance, and sometimes assign new exercises. They can get a bit boring so one needs incentives! And as one gets stronger, exercises and stretches get easier so tweaks are made.
Since December 2019, I have religiously done my exercises every morning, and can honestly say it was the best investment I ever made! I cannot recommend the Scoliosis SOS clinic and its staff highly enough!

I cannot thank Henry at the Manchester Clinic enough for the incredible support he gave us. He was so informative and compassionate when talking about my daughter, Jaina. He took the time to explain everything clearly, was patient and reassuring, and kept such a positive approach throughout. Henry kindly explained the steps involved in the Sociogold therapy and managed to secure a place for us really quickly, which was such a relief. His professionalism and kindness made a huge difference to our experience – we felt listened to and supported every step of the way. Highly recommended!

Specific problem identification
Georgia explained how curvature affects points on the spine and has an exercise program to help with that rather than generic back exercises that the NHS offered which didn’t help at all.

Lewis was excellent
Lewis was excellent, very relaxed and knows his stuff. Finally got some exercises to directly strengthen and improve the curvature of my back! Well worth it, there's nothing similar in the nhs sadly. I am so happy!

Excellent support and treatment for Scoliosis pain and related issues
I have just completed the 65 hour ScolioGold package with Lewis at the Bristol Clinic. I chose to spread this over approx. 6 months to help me manage travel with work, family and still have face to face sessions. This worked really well for me as I had time between sessions to practise the exercises and get into a routine which I know it will be important to stick to!
I'm in my 50s and have suffered with shoulder, back and hip pain/stiffness due to scoliosis for as long as I can remember. My nan and mum both had the same and I saw it get progressively worse for them. I had struggled to find the right exercises to help my specific situation. Everything was too general or it felt like I might be making it worse. I wasn't expecting miracles but I hoped to reduce pain and stiffness and learn how I could prevent further deterioration as I get older.
Lewis is very encouraging, knowledgeable and professional and it was good to feel that someone understood the condition and could offer proper advice. He was great at adapting exercises that I found difficult and showing me ways to do them at home. After 6 months of exercises, the rotation of my spine has decreased, my shoulder blade position has changed and I've seen other positive improvements in my posture and core strength. This has resulted in so much less stiffness and pain under my shoulder blade as well as improvements to my posture.
The exercise schedule and equipment provided help you stick to an exercise plan at home and I'm very aware that this is long term commitment if I want to keep seeing the benefits so I'm determined to keep on track now! I just wish I'd been able to do this at an earlier stage in my life.

Great experience at Scoliosis SOS
I saw Anna at Scoliosis SOS today, and felt really positive after my session. She gave me helpful feedback on how I was doing my exercises, and a lot of encouragement to keep improving. An excellent therapist
I completed the 4 week course at The Mansell clinic in London some years ago and have just returned from my annual check-up with Chrissy. I am always extremely pleased with my sessions, as Chrissy's vast experience is clearly demonstrated throughout the session. I really appreciate the way she allows time to discuss the exercises and alter them as appropriate, and takes the time to send me extra, detailed notes following the visit. I have 100% confidence in her, and she always provides me with the incentive to continue and work hard at my exercise programme. I recently completed a course at SOS. I've seen improvements in my flexibility and alignment, enhancing my posture. The team was incredibly supportive, with friendly and attentive coaches. Thoroughly professional and caring
I have been attending this clinic for over a decade. My therapist Chrissy is excellent. She has a holistic approach and is thorough, patient and caring. Whilst my scoliosis will never be cured, Chrissy’s exercise programme helps me to manage the pain and limits any deterioration.

Berke Armutlu
Berke has been able to treat me one-to-one since my course began on 06/01/25. He has been both empathetic (as I am elderly) and worked hard to get me to strive as hard as possible to get the maximum benefit from the exercises. Review of one hour check up appointment…
After a one hour check up appointment with Georgia I left feeling more positive about the effectiveness of the exercises I have been doing since my last check up 9 months ago. My measurements showed a general small improvement so sticking to a regular schedule has paid off. Georgia was efficient and friendly and I felt confident about the advice and guidance she gave me. Our hour was rushed at the end because she had a back to back booking online, after my in person one. It was a pity (for both of us) she didn’t have at least a 15 minutes space between us.
