Terrible customer service. Slow shipping. Only communicates when it benefits them. Shoes run too large. Do not buy.

Just horrible!! I purchased a pair of rhinestone heels and the one heel is seriously defective as it turned and cracked inward on my wearing to an event. I caught myself from falling due and hurt my ankle with this defective heel on the shoe.
I’ve tried several times to reach out to Schutz customer service who lied and said they sent an email which I couldn’t find anywhere. I asked them to resend it. But got a email that they were closing the case. There’s no number to call to talk in person just email communications. I’m reporting to BBB and contacting fraudulent product agencies with my son’s law firm. I sent Schulz pictures of the defective heels to no avail!! Don’t buy their defective made shoes!!
They gave me a refund reimbursement to a fraudulent account and I’ve now reported their company and in the process of filing a law suit for my ankle for defective heel that broke on me as I was walking in November 2025.

Absolute worst customer service I have ever had. The only way to contact is via email in which I sent no less than seven emails with one response, which was totally not what I asked. I have no way of getting in contact with anyone. I’m not sure if anyone even checks the email. This is enough to make me never shop with them again. I sent my first email over two weeks ago just horrible service.

I seriously recommend everyone stay away from this brand and website. I don’t know what happened as of lately but it seems like they went from a decent trusted brand to almost like a scam. They use a delivery company from India that no one has ever heard of called Delivery Direct which completely loses your package and never provide a reason why or a solution. Schutz customer service isn’t any better, no one has answers. So many people are having the same issue as per their social media but they resort to hiding and deleting comments from people having the same issue: paid and bought and product only for it to either never be shipped or never receive it. There’s only one way to describe it and it’s a scam. Someone needs to investigate this level of fraudulence that they keep getting away with.

I ordered a pair of shoes from the website and unfortunately they didn't fit me. I've been trying to get a refund for almost a month now. I followed the instructions as per Schutz, sent the package back on my own dime through UPS, only to learn later that Schutz rejected the delivery. My package is now lost in limbo and I haven't received my refund. I've been sending multiple messages to customer service with minimal messages or updates from their side. The entire business side seems to be incompetent. My only option is to now dispute the charges and get a refund through my bank. I DO NOT recommend purchasing ANYTHING from this company.

Received an email that that if I download the app would ger 25% off with the code app25. Downloaded the app same day wanting to make a purchse and code didn't work. No way to contact customer service directly. Says to send an email and whittle get a response within 48 hours. I sent a pair of shoes back and they were confirmed received on October 27, 2025 via email and that it could take 10 business days for the refund to hit my account. It’s November 22 and I still don’t have the refund. Unprofessional!! I have emailed them again and got an auto email stating they would reply within 4 business days.

If I could give less than one star, I would. From timeliness of shipping to ease of returns and availability of customer service this is the absolute WORST shopping experience. I previously ordered from them and thought that perhaps my experience was an anomaly. But no, I gave them another try. But like child birth, you forget about the pain and decide to give it one more try. DO NOT DO IT. WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER and find another shoe brand. If you have to pay a little more, do it. It’s cheaper than therapy.

am extremely disappointed with Schutz Shoe Company. Their customer service is unresponsive—it takes days to get a reply, and when they finally do respond, it’s rarely helpful. I purchased a full-priced item and expected to be able to return it for reimbursement, but I’ve now been told I cannot. This is unacceptable for a brand that positions itself as premium. Between the poor communication and unfair return policy, I will not be shopping with Schutz again and would not recommend them to others.

The reason I’m giving a 1 star has nothing to do with Claudia, the representative. Claudia was very responsive and resolved my issue timely. Although, I’ve not received my merchandise, I was advised via email that it is on the way. My complaint is it took over 30 minutes to get someone to answer customer service. I’ve purchased merchandise in the past from Schutz, but after this experience I’m not certain if I will in the future. Customer Service is paramount when interacting with companies.

Purchased a pair of shoes online and the order went thru Facebook. No communication other than the order confirmation. No tracking and when I did finally locate it the number wasn’t from a major carrier. They were delivered at 11pm and I received no notification they were delivered. I want to return them and went thru their return request process and that’s where it ends. They won’t send me a CR code to drop them off. I have emailed multiple times, I have tried calling but all numbers for headquarters just disconnect, I try to chat but never get a real person. I have filed a complaint with the BBB because I can’t get them to respond. I have so many of their shoes but I will NEVER purchase anything from them again.

Also, the quality of their products has dropped tremendously. These shoes were so big it was ridiculous

I wish I could give zero stars! I had a terrible experience with this company — completely deceptive and misleading. I purchased the Cicera Woven Metallic Leather Bootie in size 6.5, Silver, described as metallic leather. However, the booties I received are not leather, despite what’s stated on the website, and they have patches on the toe that were not shown in the online photos.
To make matters worse, the company is refusing to issue a full refund for this misrepresented product. Their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive.
This is a scam — avoid buying from them!

Not what they used to be
It hurts me to write this as I’ve been a fan of SCHUTZ shoes for years. Unfortunately, the quality of the product has suffered significantly. Their shoes are now on par with brands like Steve Madden and Aldo, but their pricing structure hasn’t decreased with the quality. In addition, I don’t recommend buying directly from SCHUTZ.com because the customer service is terrible and their return/exchange policy is not beneficial to the consumer. I most recently ordered a pair of heels during their Black Friday sale. The shoe I purchase was the Ariella sandal which is owned before but wore so much it was time to replace them. When they arrived, I noticed the vinyl straps were EXTREMELY stretched out, to the point I couldn’t wear the shoe safety. Since I still had the original pair in my possession, I was able to compare them side by side and was shocked at the difference in quality. If SCHUTZ hopes to keep their loyal clientele, they should really rethink the quality of their product.
