Mercedes Purchase excellent service
Recently I bought a Mercedes SUV, but this was all possible through the excellent service I recieved from the staff there. In my case Gina was the person i received my excellent service. In the end I recieved a car that seemed as good as new. Really worthwile and I recommend Sandles highly.
Personalised Service From A Family Run Busines
"I must admit to being slightly apprehensive when I found the best car to suit my requirements but it was listed on a site that described itself as a 'Supermarket'. This, to me, conjured up an image of a large, on line based seller, probably turning over a very large number of vehicles with minimal customer service and quality control but very competitive prices. It was only because the car was exactly what I wanted that I looked deeper into the company. I then realised that Sandals is the complete opposite to what I imagined, being a family run business with many members of the family actively involved in the running of it. The initial phone call was met with a friendly and efficient conversation from both the reception desk and the Sales Executive, Gina, so I arranged a visit for a test drive. The test drive was very flexible with me being allowed complete access to the car for as long as I wished. I asked for accompaniment during the drive to prevent getting lost. I noticed a significant sized chip in the windscreen and asked what the proposed solution would be, fully expecting this to develop into a sticking point. Far from it, it was agreed that a new windscreen would be fitted. The MOT had five months to run so again, while I fully expected to have to accept this, I was informed that a new 12 month MOT certificate would be issued. The only downside was having to wait almost two weeks to collect the car although, when I discovered I could get a lift a couple of days earlier, the workshop kindly prepared the vehicle earlier for me. You can tell this is a well run business the second you walk through the door, everyone is friendly, smiling and happy to help, even to the point of sorting out the coffee machine. Gina is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to the point that nothing is too much trouble for her and helped make the process of buying the car a pleasure. The bottom line is that this is completely unlike any supermarket I have ever experienced, thank goodness."

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but at no point did we feel under pressure - given the keys to the vehicle so we could look around it on our own. Sandles have all the benefits of the main Audi dealerships where we have previously bought cars but at a more competitive price. Gina went above and beyond what could be reasonably expected to ensure the purchase of our A3 was a genuine pleasure. We would highly recommend Sandles and will make the journey to return when we are in the market for another new car!

I felt totally at ease here, I was handed the keys to view a vehicle by myself there was no pressure from any of the sales team and no one bothered me whilst I was browsing. I dealt mainly with Gina who was lovely start to finish, I emailed her numerous times with various questions which she always replied to. Also a mention to Elaine who was always on hand to make me coffee whilst I was deciding what to do. I went back on 3 occasions before making a purchase, the transaction was really smooth and I love my new car. I have returned the car as I had mistakenly put on the speed limit button (new to me). I rang and spoke to Elaine who said she would get someone to look at it for me. I went back after the phone call and saw Lloyd (the singing salesman) who explained about the limit button …… Thank you Sandles team
Reliable quality cars
Great company that let you make a choice without any pressure. Cars are always good quality. The price advertised is the price you will pay, but they are very competative regarding price and quality. If you want a relaxed hassle free experience Sandles is worth a visit.

Very poor communication from salesman
Very poor communication from salesman. Always having to chase the salesman for updates. Always had excuses as to why he hadn’t returned emails or phone calls. No documents or acknowledgment of deposit were sent.
Happy to cancel our purchase as it didn’t suit him as he had that day off and wouldn’t pass the handover to a colleague. When I phoned to complain no directors or managers were available to discuss my complaint . Says it all really.

Refused to refund deposit
Great chat on phone. In person very friendly. Explained that needed to get my husband to test size of vehicle due to height, too so paid deposit but didn't buy vehicle. When he didn't fit in the car, and we canceled the purchase they would not refund the deposit - offered as credit and we said we found something elsewhere, refused to refund
Dire standard of customer service
Having visited Sandles several times during April, my final visit was on Sat 1st May when I took a vehicle for a test drive and upon return raised some issues.
Ben explained that one of my concerns was something which Sandles would never address and of two others, both he and Richard undertook to investigate one each. I offered to leave a "good faith" holding deposit which was refused. Richard also took a landline phone number, to which an answerphone is permanently attached, to enable feedback to my queries even if the message was simply "please call Sandles when you are able". At 8.35 a.m. on Tue 11th May, I still await that call.
Is it that Sandles can't be bothered to respond to my questions, both of which, I believe, could be safety related or that they simply won't deal with customers who ask questions before making a purchase?
