Never arrived

Ordered Salt blocks which have never arrived. Cannot get through to them, no reply to my emails and no refund. The most unprofessional outfit I have ever dealt with.

I paid £200 for salt, which they took immediately.
Then nothing. After a month I emailed. Another week and I called. The receptionist is from another company and every time they try to put you through, they can't. They wont give a direct number.
I badgered her to escalate internally and sent another very strong email.
Then suddenly I get an email returns invoice saying the order is cancelled because "the customer changed their mind".
Two days later the funds arrived back. A full 8 weeks after the they took it. If I hadn't have chased so strongly I think they would have just taken the money.
AVOID!!

We have been using saltandcleanz for a while now to get our salt blocks but I do not know what has happened this time. I placed an order in April and first they charged me twice, that was eventually sorted when I was finally able to speak to someone. Since then I still have not received my delivery, it has been over 6 weeks but there is no way to speak to somebody. I have called their main number but every time, switchboard are unable to transfer me over. I leave messages but no one contacts me back. I've sent emails, messages on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and no replies. I don't mind about the delay in delivery but it is the fact that there is no way to talk to anyone to get an update and nobody is getting back to me. I will not be using them again.

I have ordered some salt in February 2026 and got a confirmation email and paid for it. Since then nothing has been delivered and the company is not responding to me requests for delivery.

It's been 5 weeks since I ordered salt tablets and I've heard nothing. I've emailed and had no reply.

My order for block salt was placed on March 30th, after 8 days I asked when I might expect delivery, no reply and asked again after two more days, no reply, then phoned four more times and was told someone would call me. I then contacted my bank to retrieve my payment. Last time I deal with this company.

I don’t understand why you are requesting a rating. I placed order on 13th March and it has not yet been delivered! I called last week and someone promised to get back to me but didn’t. I subsequently sent an email but have not received a reply. I’m not impressed and would like to know when I can expect to receive my order.

Awful , paid money heard nothing, don’t bother

I've ordered some salt around a month ago and haven't received anything. After emailing and calling over a number of days, still no response.

Have used company many times before and been pleased with service, their Salt prices are very competitive.
Unfortunately, this last order has been problematic, I ordered a year's supply which has previously been delivered in 7-10 days. Three weeks later still waiting.
Phoned helpline number two days running who, although very polite, were unable to put me through to right department but took my contact details and was told someone would call me, still waiting. Running low on Salt so was forced to purchase a small amount from Amazon, free delivery tomorrow and not much difference in price.
Hopefully salt will appear sometime soon !!!

Ordered on 06:03.26 10 working day delivery and today 27.03.26 still waiting on delivery , rang 3 times and still no reply

I have used this company for years .Never been a problem in the past as I order yearly. But will never use them again !! Placed order on the 20th February. 10 working days was quoted which is fine . So after a month of no delivery and no updates emailed . No response . Called the number numerous times and was told I would get a call back . Never happened. Instructed credit company to claim back which they are investigating. In the mean time I have ordered block salt via B&Q and I received in 3 days!! Same price. So I think the company need to look at themselves here . You are going to loose a lot of business. Especially as I now read the reviews and there seems to be a common theme in the last year

Tried to buy salt blocks, took the money via their website, never delivered, I sent 2 email chasers, they never did anything.

Avoid this company! After nearly a month of waiting for my order and being ignored via email, I’ve given up. Communication is non-existent and the verbal updates provided over the phone are empty promises. It’s a shame as they used to be great, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Still waiting for delivery after 16 days. I just wanted to know when to expected delivery, but the company is not responding to emails or phone calls. They have banked my payment but I am worried I have either been scammed or the business has ceased trading. Having received an excellent service over 6 years, I am now very disappointed with Salt & Cleanz.

It took almost 3 weeks to get my delivery, that is after I chased it up

I am very disappointed with the service provided. I had ordered some salt on 25/01/26 and payed a total of £90 - it is currently 27/02/26. I am still waiting for the supply and have contacted the company multiple times, I am yet to be given a proper response. I ended up asking for a refund on the money and even that has not happened yet; still they continue to send several emails asking to complete a survey. I have been waiting for a month and am extremely dissatisfied.

Good service delivery time was reasonable

I’ve dealt with this company before with no problems but this time has been a dismal experience. We placed an order for £300 worth of salt six weeks ago, but it’s never been delivered. No idea why as the sales office staff never answer the phone and simply don’t respond to emails. As per other reviews the receptionist will offer a call back but don’t hold your breath as the calls will never materialise. Eventually we’ve had to get our credit card company involved to claim the money back. An utter shambles of a company.
