I wanted to stay with eon after a terrible time trying to switch elsewhere. The communication from them was prompt, to the point, polite and no call centre where it's automated. Yay!

Rebecca helped me to sort out my direct debt payments and was very helpful and understanding. I’ve been with Sainsburys Energy for a few years and their Customer Services have always been very good. I like their Smooth Renew where I get the best price with no effort.

Connor's expertise and patience is exemplary

Having moved from British Gas because of incredibly poor customer service - I can say that the Sainsbury's service is magnificent. Great knowledge and skills to answer queries, no cut and pasted replies - and just personal attention from one adviser - instead of a call centre data base. I don't know how they do it but honestly - if you can switch, you will not be disappointed. In this day and age to have the connection to just one person who sees through the whole query until resolved, is unheard of. Connor has obviously been well trained but more than that it actually appeared that he cared about the challenges I had getting the right meters and readings. I wish I could broadcast having found this level of quality when dealing with call centres - because it is scarce today!!Just can't rate the service Connor delivered highly enough. Thank you !!

Lauren at Sainsburys Energy Customer Service

Sainsburys Energy as far as I’m concerned have the very best customer service in the industry- shame they are owned by Eon as they are the worst. Lauren was superb all this week with a problem caused by Eon. Absolutely excellent, prompt, knowledgeable, fair and friendly person. I can recommend Sainsburys Energy customer service, especially Lauren!

House made move easy

Moving out of my house. Emailed details as per the instructions on the website and then had an email back from Rebecca who sorted it all out for me within a very quick time. Amazing service, it felt personal and was dealt with quickly.

Great customer service

I had a query about not receiving points, my query was delt with by Rebecca who went above and beyond to try to sort my problem however due to the fact that our card had previously been hacked I couldn't supply her with enough information.
Through out my correspondence Rebecca stayed very professional and tried her best to help she was a great ambassador for your company

Switching away from Sainsbury's Energy…

Switching away from Sainsbury's Energy and the gaining company made a mess of the transfer. Rebecca at Sainsbury's helped to smooth out any issues at their side despite being the losing party. Answers were very prompt and helpful. Not very often now you get this level of excellence. Well done Rebecca and thank you.

Very Helpful

Prompt, helpful replies from my contact, who clearly understood the problem. I've only just moved to Sainsbury's energy, but this exchange was a great, positive, advert for them.

If this is maintained in the future, I will be very happy with my decision to change supplier.

Helped to navigate a move to a new place with ease

After many years in the same place, I had to tackle the difficult task of moving to a new place. I contacted Sainsbury's Energy to help with the transfer to the new place. I ended up exchanging many emails with one of the representives - Hayley - Supersonics 🌻 - who helped me with every step of the way. They were an absolute star. I knew what was happening and when, they answered my questions quickly and helped with all the tricky bits of a new tariff and switching to the new address. I was very grateful to have had the help I got, which was quickly done, clearly explained and no stress or worry.

Don’t waste your time with Sainsbury’s energy….

Sainsbury’s energy has been nothing but a nightmare in the past 12 months. They have refused to honour promises made by engineers working on their behalf (recorded on camera at the time), they have entered incorrect meter readings and have needed me to work the correct costs out for them on one occasion. They have raised direct debits values, then gone on the record saying it would not change and reverted back to the original direct debit to then ignore all that and raise them again. This has resulted in me raising multiple complaints in the year, contacting customer support nearly every month for four months pointing out their mistakes and resulting in them offering me £30 compensation each time they mess up, which has resulted in them paying off any debit I had accrued over the year. They have also not changed the meter serial numbers/models on the national database when they changed my gas meter which meant my new provider (octopus) was going to have to fit a new smart meter. Octopus however corrected this in one day and have been amazing and made Sainsburys Energy look like a poor example for an energy company.

The final straw, I have just swapped to my new provider and my Sainsburys energy account was in credit by £103 but in Sainsbury's stupidity they are showing me in debit by £1700 because they’ve messed up the meter details and issued a bill on a Saturday when no one is in the office to correct it, why do that when the bill is obviously wrong when looking at the past months details and comparing the meter details.

I do not rate this company and can not recommend them to anyone due to the stress they have caused me over the year, and especially today while I’m waiting for Monday to contact them to correct their latest mistake, again.

Excellent customer service

I've been a customer of Sainsburys Energy for a few years and their customer service is excellent. Phones answered quickly and agents very helpful. Recently emailed a query and Connor responded within hours and query resolved. Highly recommend.
