Edwina was fantastic. Always at the end of the phone and email. She dealt with everything straight away took the stress and worry out of the process for me. Very caring and understanding and immediate responses. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. Would definitely use again and fully recommend.

Awful service from a conveyancer that divides their time between this and another occupation. This clearly impacts standards. Communication has been seriously lacking or non existent. documentation unfulfilled by the deadline promised. This is the worst experience I have ever had when moving home and would never recommend or use them again.Don’t believe the mission statement “

This is absolutely NOT my experience . This company was recommended by Amicable divorce services who were exceptional. Unfortunately this company does not live up to the same standard .

We first approached an old school solicitor, who quoted £6000! For the sale of our property with probate. We declined.

We were referred to Sail Legal, with Jess Nixon as our solicitor. Jess was excellent she was very responsive every step of the way. The whole process was made clear and straight-forward to understand(this was my first venture into probate and conveyancing) Jess got the whole job done in record time at a fraction of the cost previously quoted.
Very highly recommend.

Little to no communication to the point of being Ignorant, never replying to most of my emails. I've never known a company to be so slow at getting things done, don't bother trying to call anyone as no one ever picks up the phone. I would never use them or recomend them to anyone.

Our solicitor Holly was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated every step of the way. She made sure everything was dealt with quickly and clearly.

I have just completed on the sale of my house and was very fortunate to use Sail Legal. I highly recommend this firm and, in particular, Edwina, with whom I dealt. My buyer was not the most straightforward, to put it mildly, and I was amazed by the effort Edwina put in on my behalf. She was dedicated, tenacious, clear, and knowledgeable—always looking out for my best interests. And the cost? Extremely competitive. I couldn’t recommend Sail Legal and Edwina more highly.

I went to a local solicitor first of all but they didn't want to take on the conveyancing of my Mum's house due to a slight complication in the will. However this wasn't a problem for Sail Legal. I had wondered what it would be like using a solicitor at a distance, but it was no problem at all - their fees turned out to be cheaper than local firms and everything went smoothly!

No mucking about. Got on with the job. Kept me informed every step of the way. Would recommend.

I am so impressed with Sail Legal. I was going to go with a local solicitor whom I have worked with before but they were completely thrown by a slight complexity with my house selling situation.
Sail Legal, on the other hand, took it in their stride and the quote they gave me was cheaper than the local solicitor.
We were assigned a case handler, Dominique, who couldn't have been more communicative and helpful at every stage of the process.

We have been so impressed by Sail Legal! They consistently provided us with a first class service throughout the sale and purchase process. Both Sarah and Emma are very approachable and always happy to clarify and answer any queries.

Although after a couple of hiccups during the initial purchasing process they were able to complete the purchasing of the property for me. However, they have failed to give a call back or response to my emails several times for multiple days which turned into weeks. Purchased the property back in December and they have still not sent post completion documents to the management company of the property, despite me sending several deed of covenants back to them each time they asked for a new one. They have not bothered to explain where or what the issue or hold up is that is taking this long and have been dodging my emails and calls when I have tried asking for further information. Just hoping that after 7 long months of waiting since purchasing the property everything will finally be done so I can pay my bills. But, like I said, I haven’t been kept in the loop so it is hard to know if this will actually happen or not at this point.

UPDATE:
4 days after writing this review, on a Sunday at 18:15 I receive an email update letting me know that they have finally posted the documents to the management company and will chase this week to see if they have received them.

Such an incredible service and experience. Sail Legal have an amazing team, they respond at lightning speed, super efficient, very knowledgable and really set the bar for the speed and service solicitors should provide! It was quite frankly embarrassing for our seller's solicitors, they were always days if not weeks behind Sarah and her team. If you want a swift, well informed, very competitively priced conveyancing then look no further and don't think twice. I'll certainly be going to Sarah and Sail for any future legal needs.

I cannot thank Sarah and the team enough. There efforts have been outstanding and they have continuously gone above and beyond throughout the whole process.

Throughout my purchase there have been some rocky periods due to the sellers side however even up until the day of competition I was confidently reassured by Sarah and supported every step of the way.

Sarah was always on hand for a video call at short notice. She also went the extra mile even on day of competition to support me picking up the keys after hours.

I would recommend Sarah and the Sail Legal team to anyone in the future and I will certainly be using them again.
