I really enjoyed my soap making experience with Ruth. It was so much fun and even the things people may find daunting were really well explained and demonstrated in way that made it easy follow.
The whole day was really good fun and I came away with a wealth of knowledge and keen to get making my own soap at home

A really enjoyable workshop. I had never made soap before and Ruth made it all seem very easy as she was very well prepared. It was great to go home with a beautiful selection of all the various soaps we had all made. I definitely recommend this course.

Had a lovely and fun day on the Soap making course on Saturday. The information/talk was very informative and led onto the Practical part of the day with us being able to make our own Soaps and take them home. We were also able to take samples of the different recipe soaps that the other members of the group had made. Any apprehension that I had previously about making Soap using chemicals disappeared as Ruth's clear teaching instructions made it all seem so easy and simple. Fab day with lovely people and definitely going to make my own Soap now.

Highly recommend- Very informative & friendly workshop with a great bunch of ladies. Bonus we got to bring home lots lovely soap.

Was great to get taught all the important parts to be able to start making soap on my own with confidence.

Had an amazing day learning the basic's of soap making, with the aim that I will eventually be making small batches myself to sell.
Learnt so much, made 2 different batches of soap, which I was able to take home along with samples of the other peoples on the course.
Ruth's knowledge and enthusiasm for her subject shone through.
Will definitely be booking her Business Course.

Nice day learning tips n tricks, useful demo and time to practice (two lots) we made c10 soaps to take home and great we all got a mix of each others plus the recipes to try at home.

I had a great day learning to make natural, gorgeous smelling soaps using everyday kitchen ingredients with Ruth. After learning about the history of soap making and being given the scientific facts behind the process, we each made a couple of soaps using a variety of oils, essential oils and botanicals. Ruth made the day both relaxing and informative. We all went home with10 different soaps and the recipes to reproduce them at home.

Ruth is so well versed in soap making and in turn transferring that knowledge to others in manageable chunks. The Soap Making day I attended was well run and organised with nothing out of place. Very practical, supportive and all you need to get started by yourself.
The room was rather cold to start, but that did not spoil the experience - we just kept our coats on!

I attended a one to one session to learn how to make soap. Ruth was knowledgeable, answered my myriad of questions, tailored the time to suit my interests and made what seems a scary process simple

Really enjoyable experience. I had a lot of fun especially with the practical side. I learnt a lot about the process of soap making and feel confident to experiment with my own styles

Had a wonderful time learning about making soap, then getting hands on and had a go at making our own! Our creations were wonderful and we got to take them home with us.

I loved this course. The trainer really knew her stuff. It would be difficult to pick up the things we learnt by searching online. Her presence and knowledge was brilliant and being there watching her was invaluable. A must for anyone wanting to do this as gifts for friends or to sell as a business. We learnt so much in one day and definitely enough to go away and make my own with confidence.

Ruth was very welcoming from the minute we met her. The course itself was insightful telling us a little about the history and technique before letting us gets hands on. We discussed how this soap differed from the off the shelf option. It really makes you think about the world in a different way. I would recommend the course to anyone.
