Hired Richard to carry out a level 2 survey based on an estate agent's recommendation - he was easy to talk to and (very patiently!) explained the process to a total novice and made sure I understood what was happening throughout. He delivered his report incredibly quickly - the day after carrying out the survey - and clearly explained what was meant by each section and comment.

Richard was great, he was easily contactable, took the time to answer all of the questions I had as a first time buyer, and was incredibly quick as I was almost ready to exchange. Richard was so helpful with our home survey, as first time buyers we had lots of questions and Richard was happy to answer any. We have had a lot of patronising suppliers who expected us to know everything but Richard was patient and explained everything we needed to know. He was prompt in responding and his report was so thorough, giving us ample information and confidence to proceed with buying our house. Found Richard through a google search, needed my survey doing quickly as I was ready to complete. I called Richard on Tuesday and he was out on the Friday doing the survey and had the document to me by Monday.
He provided an excellent service and was very thorough with a 48 page document including images and things wrong with the property.
