Found this in my cupboard and made sure non of my family purchase this imposter corn syrup posing as honey ever again. Ask yourself the question..why would a company need to blend honeys from different sources? that says enough of this brand if you have any brains . I’m aware they have a higher priced honey that reads GMO 500+ that says it’s only from New Zealand. Seems This is their only authentic honey product. Everything else states “blend of non eu honeys” and they don’t provide any information as to which countries it’s from. They’re profiting highly from these jars from the poors and ignorants whilst the educated won’t go any where near this pathetic excuse for honey it is your responsibility to look after the health of you and your family members probably the same people that buy cereal with processed crap and sugars for their kids

I bought Rowse Organic Honey expecting a high-quality organic product, but I was disappointed after reading the label more carefully. The jar clearly states “Blend of honey from non-EU countries.”
For a product marketed as organic and premium, I would expect clearer sourcing and more transparency about where the honey actually comes from. “Non-EU countries” is very vague and could mean honey sourced from many different places with varying standards.
Consumers often assume organic honey will be locally sourced or at least clearly traceable. Seeing such a broad description on the label makes it harder to trust the origin and quality of the product.
My advice: always read the label carefully before buying. Just because a product says “organic” doesn’t necessarily mean the sourcing is as transparent as you might expect.
Fake Honey and Real Manuka Honey
Most of rowses product is fake cheap "honey" a blend of EU and Non EU honeys most likely from china but it's Manuka honey is real and single origin from new Zealand but it's multifloral(Multiple Flower Origin) should be monofloral(Single Flower Origin)
Please be honest about origin of the…
Please be honest about origin of the product, if it comes from China don't hesitate to write it down. I would like to know where is my food comes from.

Do not buy there's far better real honey out there just as cheap

It should be illegal to sell honey that is not honey but apparently the UK love it.
Keep it up Rowse. Your doing a great job of fooling the British consumer and putting actual UK bee keepers out of business .

I highly doubt not recommending it, it not real honey.

Unfortunately this honey is not real honey
Is it 100% honey?
After reading that cheap honey is not real honey I bought Rowse as the web site gave the impression that it was an independent bee farm, turns out it is owned by Valeo food group, I rang to enquire if honey was 100% as label states blend of non EU honey April assured me it is however, she rudely kept on talking over me when I had not finished I suggested that the front of bottle should state 100% Honey she then informed me that the Company is aware of concerns with label information but to change the label is expensive! I replied that I am not bloody stupid she then said I was loud and aggressive and put the 'phone down. The label is so designed that reading it is difficult if you have poor eyesight!
Rowse “honey” is not real honey
Rowse “honey” is not real honey. It cannot be at the price point. Look at the bottle. All it says is a blend on non EU “honeys”. I challenge Rowse to reply to this post and confirm that they do not include so called honey from China (the largest producer in the world) because nearly all of Chinese honey is not real honey but sugar syrup. It is criminal that the use of the word “honey” is not regulated. You can use it to describe any sort of sweet rubbish. The British public is being scammed every time they buy Rowse honey.
Quality of Honey
Today I sent a message to Rowse via their web page.
My concern was, my brother bought me a jar of Rowse set honey yesterday, 18/9/25.
I have used Rowse for many years putting a 1/2 teaspoon into my cup of coffee. But my issue was, this jars sell by date was sept 24! Now, the reply I received was very unhelpful and Rowse promptly dismissed any onus on them.Stating it was ASDA’s fault.
I can appreciate that, ok, it’s not Rowse fault but, you would have thought it beneficial for Rowse to know that a supermarket is sell out of Date honey. Ok, yes I know, technically honey will not spoil. But hey, I’ve got a dodgy immune system due to cancer so I’m not taking any chances.
Now, to help answer some of the questions raised in the previous reviews regarding the quality of Rowse honey. I can verify that yes, Rowse set honey does in fact crystallise.
This out of date jar is 3/4 crystallised. How my brother didn’t see this when buying 🤯
I hope at least my bad experience has enlightened so to the quality of Rowse.
I’ll continue to buy but I think I’ll definitely not ask Brother again!
Fake honey
Worst selling idea on pure honey title
This is only sugar syrup

Its truly waste of money buying this honey.
They put it in a plastic bottle. The honey get so hard that you cant get it off from the bottle and because it's a plastic bottle, then you can't heat it.
Never again I shall buy any product from this compsny
Sugar syrup sold as "real honey" 🍯🍯🍯😢😢😢
Sugar syrup sold as "real honey" 🍯🍯🍯😢😢😢
I am shocked after tasting this honey, because I used it in my tea for some time, but today I decided to squeeze some straight to my mouth 😱 it is pure but definitely NOT honey 😰😰😰 pure SUGAR SYRUP this is!
I'm from Hungary, tasted enough real honeys in my lifetime. Even the consistency is different, way too runny. No honey taste whatsoever, but a very distinct sugar taste.
Horrified, how can they sell it as Real & Pure honey????
I bought some runny Rowse Honey…
I bought some runny Rowse Honey yesterday from Morrisons, and it's definitely not Honey. There is a slight smell of honey, and I mean subtle. Only one out of four of us could smell it. The rest said it smelled like syrup, tasted like syrup, and dissolved instantly like syrup, Real honey doesn't instantly dissolve; you have to stir it. I'm going to ask Trading Standards to test it, to see if there is any honey at all in the bottle.
I would have given zero if possible.
I would have given zero if possible.
Had reason to call Wallingford head office this morning and encountered the rudest and most unpleasant woman on reception. As a resultI will never buy any of this company's products again. They can keep their poor quality honey and cheap plastic bottles to themselves. The bottle I had is now in the bin.
I was a bit suspicious of Rowse
I was a bit suspicious of Rowse.
Checked the website and it is total corporate gobbledegook that tells me nothing at all... pretty pictures of bees and flowers and lovely wholesome words like "yummy" etc. no real information at all. Origin? Purity? Single origin? Nope EU or not? No info. No information on the pot either.
Tastes like sugar.
Honey you can trust.
Wanted a squeeze honey .much easier than pots. Tried Rowse and really impressed. Was concerned it was not 100% honey but reassured by Rowse that it is.
I bought Rowse organic honey and after…
I bought Rowse organic honey and after 3 weeks it turns completely white and like frozen even you can’t use it anymore, it’s just sugar nothing else.
I am really disappointed because I’ve paid £6 each in waitrose and I just throw it.
Be careful if you want to buy an organic honey, Rowse is not the best.
Unfair Honey Pricing
I am writing to express my concern about the retail pricing of your honey products. Specifically, I have noticed that a 340g bottle of Rowse honey is priced at GBP 3, while a 680g bottle is priced at GBP 4. This pricing structure seems to disproportionately affect those with limited budgets, as the price difference for double the quantity is not proportional. While I understand that there may be packaging or production costs associated with different bottle sizes, I believe that a more equitable pricing model could be implemented. As a long-standing British company, I hope that you would consider the impact of your pricing on your fellow countrymen and strive to make your products more accessible to all.
