This company was recommended by a friend but working with them turned out to be a very frustrating experience.....always needed chasing, always missing deadlines and multiple different people handling the account let to numerous errors. It felt like mass production accountancy.......just pushing accounts through in high volumes with very little attention to detail.

After errors, and unexpected increases in fees, when we wanted to close our account and move to another accountancy, we were squeezed for additional fees, before finally managing to move to a better accountant.
I don't think it's reasonable for any service provider to try and squeeze additional fees from a leaving customer, because they hadn't accurately forecast their cost. The director said they were losing money on our account, as if this was our culpability, and the few (around one per month) email questions about our accounts was not exactly substantial.
The individual accountants are perfectly fine and diligent, but the senior employees account management and way of speaking to customers could be much improved.

I hope the director(s) read this and reconsider their approach to account management and interacting with customers.

As a response to the follow-up below, one of the reasons given for an increase in scope was "asking questions". I don't believe this is a change in scope. However, I no longer have to worry about emailing questions and customer service from my new accountant and are very happy with them.

Rodliffe accounting is a firm which worked closely with one of my former employers. To say it has been a displeasure communicating with these guys is an understatement, and I am sick to death of having to chase up and constantly message about my finances which have not been processed correctly over THREE tax years!

This company consistently ignores my pleas and concerns and delays time and time again my messages, and will also try to defend itself over its poor service.

I strongly recommend you avoid this company at all costs and utilise a different company for your accounting needs.
