I am writing this review to expose a consistent and documented pattern of behavior by Cashstar that borders on fraudulent activity. After attempting to purchase a digital product, I received the same generic, automated response that thousands of other users have reported: an immediate cancellation of the order due to failed "security checks," citing no specific or valid reasoning.

While the company claims to "protect" customers, the reality is a predatory loop that results in direct financial prejudice. In many international jurisdictions, like mine, banking and digital service taxes are applied the moment a transaction is processed. When Cashstar unilaterally cancels a legitimate transaction without cause, these taxes are not refunded by the local banks.

I have attempted to resolve this through every available channel, multiple emails, support forms, and attempted telephone contact, all to no avail. Being told that "the system reviews multiple factors" while refusing to provide manual verification for a legitimate payment is a clear evasion of commercial responsibility.

Legal precedent suggests that Terms of Service cannot override basic consumer protection laws. A company cannot accept funds, trigger non-refundable financial obligations in the user's home country, and then hide behind a "black box" algorithm to deny the service purchased.

This issue is not isolated. Based on the extensive history of complaints on platforms like Reddit, DevForum and here on Trustpilot, it is evident that this has been a recurring pattern for over more than two years. I am currently in the process of organizing and seeking legal counsel to initiate a Class Action Lawsuit against Cashstar for these systemic practices.

I demand the immediate manual verification of my transaction and the delivery of the product I paid for in good faith. A refund is an inadequate remedy that does not cover the financial damage already caused. If you value your company's remaining reputation, I suggest you fulfill the order and address this "validation" flaw that is currently defrauding a vast community of global users.

After asking for an email resend the same screen appears. 20 dollars down the drain and unrefundable

Was going to buy but asked a community I was in if they were good. Everyone that has bought through them has been scammed. Thought I’d leave a review for them since many don’t use Trust Pilot like I do.

Purchased a e-gift card through the official Roblox website and never received anything. Contacted CashStar to get a refund or to send the e-gift card and they claim the transaction was declined and that the "pending purchase" would be returned however I explained that the charge is no longer pending but rather has been approved. They say they cannot help me. I'm pissed, they suck and I give 0 stars.

Bought a $10 Roblox virtual gift card through a link in Roblox after I was signed in. They sent me an email with links to get my code information and there is nothing there. I contacted support and they are telling me that the transaction didn’t get through their review and I need to purchase a physical card. The transaction was approved!

Bought a 20$ gift card from there. Not only did they immediately send me an email saying there was a security issue and couldn’t give me the gift card information, they said they they would give me my money back within 1-3 business days and they NEVER did!! So basically I just got scammed from this website and wasted 20$ that I’m not ever getting back. I did reach out to them to ask them about it but, they said there was nothing they could do and couldn’t give personal information about it.

Ordered a gift card on my credit card, went through bank security procedure.input card details etc. Website claimed order declined, but the money was shown as pending on Natwest online banking. Had to report and cancel my credit card. 100% clear this is a total scam, even though linked to the Roblox website and using https:/. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Gonna be honest I was trying to get a 10 dollar gift and It didn’t work I looked at my bank account and it took my money and I promise if you buy from cash star never do it a lot of people with bad experiences with cash star since I see how they try to evade people to not refund I will talk to the bank

If i can put a 0 star i would, this website is a scam, i repeat this website is a scam, they wont send your gift card code if you try to buy one, and they will ask for order number that they never give. Again SCAM!!!!!!! Dont buy any cards from this website

Probably one of the worst app transactions Roblox could ever use. The service is shady and I payed 10 bucks and I did not got my money back, nor the refund. Don't ever buy anything from Cashstar!

I want to express my disappointment with my recent experience purchasing a Porter Airlines gift card through Cashstar. What should have been a quick, simple transaction for my mother's birthday turned into a frustrating ordeal.

I received an “unable to process transaction” error three times without any explanation. Thinking it might be an issue with my card, I contacted Cashstar directly, only to realize the problem was on their end.

This reflects poorly on Porter Airlines, even though I know the fault lies with Cashstar. Unfortunately, experiences like this make the airline appear less reliable by association. As a result, both Cashstar and Porter Airlines will be losing my business.

I hope this feedback encourages a review of Cashstar’s reliability and customer experience, as it directly impacts Porter’s brand.

They charge for the gift card and send a receipt email. Then within the same minute, they send another email saying that they were unable to process the order, yet the pending charge is still on my credit card. This company is trash and will be getting a chargeback if this posts to the credit card.

THIS WEBSITE SUCKS I SPENT 40$ THAT I WORKED SO HARD TO GET AND IT WONT GIVE ME BACK MY DAMN MONEY IM GONNA SUE THEM
