Rejection of the complaint
The items arrived damaged, but my complaint was rejected with the explanation that these are handmade products. However, a cracked lid on a jar (which is unlikely to have anything to do with the craftsmanship), scratched candle holders, and a tea container with a broken piece of wood seem like issues unrelated to handmade imperfections. Customer service offered a return at my own expense (50 euros for shipping from Sweden to the Netherlands). They consider themselves a premium brand, yet the quality of the goods and service falls far short of a high standard.
