Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Totally unprofessional. Don't seem to understand/comply with the concept of audit trails/process with regard to legal documentation. My mother (a lady in her late eighties) requested documents from them two months ago and still not resolved! They are very good however at repetition and time wasting. If they are regulated by the Law Society then they need to pay them a visit. Severely lacking in communication and customer service skills. Management are always in 'meetings' to avoid talking to you (yes, the oldest excuse in the book!!!). Given me no justifiable answer to date why my mother hasn't received her documents. In my experience this is taking advantage of some of the most vulnerable people in society. Shame on them.

They executed extremely poor communication when I requested the original copy of a will. This company urgently need to work on their customer service and administration. Because of their communication issue, it took over 10 weeks and several phone calls to receive the will, not the 14 days they promised. I have worked in compliance, audit and administration for over 40 years and these are problems that should not happen as they are easily solved.

My Mother’s Will was transferred to Derby with the RightLegalGroup after her local solicitors closed down 5 years ago. Upon her death I requested her document on 3rd Jan. It took over 11 emails and phone calls to finally receive it over 10 weeks later during which time I was given incorrect information, unanswered emails and delays in sending out the Form of Authority. I would not recommend this company.

Be aware that the site which sends you links does not work and a clear warning came up that the site was not an authorised web link to this firm and was unsafe! Have no full information when asked a straightforward simple question. The composition of the reply emails was shocking and after making further enquiries with my bank I decided not to proceed at all. Alarm bells started ringing as no concrete answers were forthcoming to my simple questions except to ask me to make a payment of £350 with my bank card. I cannot find out if they are authorized legal advisers. My bank suggested and urged I avoid at all costs!!

This is easily the rudest, most unprofessional and uneducated Solicitor in the land.
Have had to spoon feed them will all the relevant information although they are supposedly acting on my behalf. I would dread to think how they would act in a case not so straight forward! They will be reported to the Legal Ombudsman.
This solicitor needs striking off to prevent causing and such harm or damage to any further clients. Worst experience of my life....AVOID.

Do not use or recommend. They had stored my Mum's incorrectly and upon retrieval was incomplete and was missing a page. Lengthy delay to probate. Poor and unprofessional communication with lack of call backs during a difficult time. Tried charging extra fees on top. Complaint referred to Ombudsman

Right Legal? More like Wrong Legal.
To sum them up... They are as useless as a snooze button on a smoke alarm! Rude, no manners, poor communication and almost collapsed the chain on the sale numerous times, they need reporting to the Legal Ombudsman.

A simple cash sale took 6 months! They take your non refundable deposit and do nothing... and I mean ab-sol-ut-ely nothing. You as the client have to do all the work for them or they let the sale sink.

If you think getting past your doctors receptionist is hard work, wait until you give the assistant a call. Can only be described as a wet match in a dark cave, never passes on any messages, and gets a kick out of slamming the phone down on you.

The stress and suffering this company caused to all parties involved is in excusable. The buyer, seller, estate agents, and solicitors were all chasing daily. If you were really lucky, you were told another excuse or delay tactic. I'd rather staple my tongue to a moving train than hear the name "Mr Aziz" ever again!

Trust this review and just set fire to your money its far less painful. The false Google reviews below are an epic read!

Absolutely shocking appalling service. They caused what should have been a simple matter of me taking 30 minutes to fill in an online probate application to become a long battle of unanswered emails, things not getting done and completely unnecessary stress expense and delay. The only way they are still in business is presumably because the relatives who end up suffering the hell they offer are not the ones who wrote the wills with them, or worse, nominated them as executors.

I see the reviews here have not improved so thought I would add some more thoughts. Very sadly the reviews of the "Simpsons Solicitors" local branch where my parents made their wills are still five star and excellent. ( Apart from mine). All from people making wills not suffering the after effects. Using two names for your business like this is very sneaky.

Also sneaky is what happened to me, making themselves "Joint executors" on the will with me, an only son, presumably by telling my parents it was a safety net. When it came to it however I was firmly told that "Joint executors" meant in their line of thought that I was not to be allowed to do anything as they being solicitors had priority and must do everything ( or more accurately not do) and charge accordingly. I was not to be involved apart from paying the fee and there was nothing I could do about it they said.

A ray of hope for readers though, especially if they have not got very far with the case there is hope. I used google to find a solicitor who was willing to help me take them on and by threatening court we succeeded in getting them, after a fight and several refusals, to remove themselves of the case and hand it back over to me. It was a fight, it cost money but it saved in the end and was worth it. It is possible to rid yourselves of these people but it is not easy. You need to do it at the beginning of the process too or it is much more difficult.

I don’t quite know where to start with this review. My mother died on 8/11/2023. Following her death I realised that the solicitors that she had left her Will with had closed down and the Will was in the hands of Right Legal Group.
I contacted them to have this sent to me. Instead we found ourselves bombarded with hard sell telephone calls wanting us to use them for Probate. It was non stop and extremely distressing.
I explained to them that they were in Derby, we lived near Brighton and already had a solicitor that would be assisting us through Probate. This did not stop them. Numerous voicemails were left.
Finally the forms required were emailed to me. I returned them and the documents sent by me as identification were then mislaid by them. I was not kept updated through the process and because my brother & sister were also Executors they too began being bombarded by phone calls.
I submitted a complaint and eventually received mum’s Will on 8th January 2024. Two months after her death and too late to carry out her funeral wishes.
I have no words. This company needs investigating. Please stay away from them.
To add to this review I received a response to my complaint on 9.2.2024. My complaint has not been upheld on the grounds that while there were multiple phone calls made they cannot agree they were hard sell??
Given that I had explained in the second call that I would not require their services it is difficult to then understand the need to continue to call. My only request was my mother’s Will.

They have had the will since before the 7th September been told numerous time that it has been sent out but hasn’t this was before Christmas. My husband spoke to Ebony who said paper work needed to be filled out to release it so my husband filled it in he is the beneficiary, the executor also filled in the paperwork. Nothing arrived !!!! My husband rang to chase spoke to ebony she said they needed wet signature not a typed signature my husband had no correspondence from them to notify him of this . They emailed the other executor and didn’t inform my husband the beneficiary! All the information has been sent back and he was told they would send the will! still nothing !!!! in total this has been going on for march 2023. With other solicitors not being able to find the will then RIGHT Group taking so long to upload absolutely shambolic service no one phones back, the phone line constantly rings out no one responds to email. This has been a horrible time for my husband made far worse be this unprofessional company.

Dreadful lack of coordination over 2 years of dealing with late aunt and uncles estates.Still in process! But no contact for over 6 months. Just found out that person has left! (But when?)
Each New person then starts all over again, hasn’t got previously sent records. We are now awaiting a fourth person to take over but not yet assigned. How long before I can find out who I am now to deal with?

Shambolic - they may be ok writing a Will (no experience of that though), but if the firm is an Executor they are terrible. A very simple estate (3 assets, no property) has taken 8 months to obtain the Grant, another 5 months to actually notify beneficiaries of an entitlement and no distribution to beneficiaries 13 months after probate was granted; it is over 4 weeks since we were all told money was being sent out but nothing received. As a probate solicitor myself I hang my head at the way the matter has been mismanaged- would give zero stars if I could.

Very disappointed with their customer service. Promises not kept for basic requests to release a will. Passed around various staff who do not appear to know/ follow company procedures and policies , if there are any. Certainly not the positive and respectful experience advertised on their social media platforms for their own recruitment and offer to clients on their website.

Update 08.11.23- very pleased to report that there has been more empathetic engagement from managers regarding this issue and acknowledgement that this was a straightforward request that was not handled well and that there will be improvements to ensure this does not happen to future customers. I look forward to the next request being fulfilled efficiently by the team . Thank you .

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION

I'm deeply disappointed by the poor communication and service at Right Legal Group. My family's probate case has been met with silence. The lack of response to emails and telephone calls over a period of months is unacceptable. We had high hopes, but our experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. At this moment in time i would not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Professional? In no way shape or form! Failure to communicate, lack of understanding, failures to answer questions! Nobody gets back to you!

My late father passed away and his Will was subsequently held by Right Legal. Requested the Will, apparently they never received the forms, had a telephone meeting with their Probate Department, asked questions.... Never got back to me, chased, chased, and only one individual got back to me who it wasn't his job role! (he did his job beyond what was probably outlined in his job description, unlike the rest of the firm) I actually had to speak to the head of compliance to get an answer, which wasn't much use either.

Matter referred to Legal Ombudsman... Communication through the Legal Ombudsman, Right Legal supposed to contact me from the 23rd July.... 15th August and still no contact.

These people should not be able to deal with individuals who are grieving and at points of your life where your world is crumbling from the loss of a loved one!

Stay clear! Go to a different Solicitor!

Do not use! Executors of will with no property involved. 11 months and counting. Probate has been granted but still nothing happening. I have acted as Executor and know how the system works. It is not like this.
