Not very good. I've never had a claim and yet they are putting the car insurance price up by 20%. I've phoned them and they won't even look at reducing. So much for loyalty.

I’ve been insured with RIAS for a couple of years and initially had a positive experience. The pricing was competitive, and the service was solid throughout my time with them.

However, this year's renewal quote came through at £1,032.56, up significantly from £783.17 last year—an increase of nearly £250 with no changes in risk or claims made. After a quick look across comparison sites, multiple reputable providers are offering identical comprehensive cover for around £550, which is almost half of RIAS’s renewal price.

It’s disappointing to see existing customer loyalty penalized with such an uncompetitive quote. If you’re considering RIAS, they are fine initially, but make sure you shop around at renewal time rather than letting the policy auto-renew.

Easy to get my insurance sorted, very straight forward

Easy to change insurance to another car with no fuss and very happy with the whole change over. Will continue to use this company.

Easy enough to renew my cover online, price I paid was less than last year which I found a refreshing change with everything else going up in today's world.

Excellent service from RIAS. I had to phone twice to resolve an issue with my policy and each time the phone was answered within three minutes of calling, so no frustrating wait. I spoke to both Nurani and Aaron and both were super efficient, helpful and very professional. A pleasure to deal with and a credit to their company.

I have had car and home insurance with this company for a decade.
This year, for renewals due on 16th September, they want to increase the home premium by 27.07 percent and car by 36. 04%, without any explanation -and although no changes whatsoever.
They say they have a policy of not negotiating at all, even when more than one policy is with them, and are completely unhelpful.
With the Consumer Price Index currently around 2.9%, the overall increase is more than 11.5 times that. It makes you feel their policy is to penalise, rather than reward loyalty. As an Octogenarian who is certainly not good at shopping around, it is very disappointing to be faced with such a substantial proposed increase , without even an attempt at justification for it, or apology for such an apparently grossly inflated uplift.

My claim was settled quite promptly and I was kept informed along the way.

I am rather elderly 18/09/1939 and find access online difficult but by phone all was excellent

Too many other products withe many numbers can be confusing.
Finally got sorted after few hours.
