From start to finish my rep was informative and kept me updated and reassured me of how things worked and what the possible outcome would/could be. I was not pressured in to agreeing to use their services and was informed at great detail of the costs. I was even informed on how I could claim for my costs back through my home and or motor insurance which I did and was successful. No issues at all to report other than the odd miss communication between myself and my rep which was professionally dealt with by her. Overall a great company ro deal with and hopefully I dont require their help again but if I do I certainly won't hesitate to give them a call.

Avoid at all costs.Having Raised an official complaint with my finance company for a faulty car i was also put in touch with rmc.I recieved a phone call explaining they had a great success rate and it was a no win no fee.Having signed there contract thats when the nightmare began.I paid £300 for there specialist engineer to check my car.He came out tested it and left stating his report would be passed on to rmc.Whilst i recieved numerous updates from the finance company i was met by silence for months from rmc.Wont answer emails/calls dont return them.Upon being given the news the car had been rejected via the dealer/finance company and loss of payments being returned to me i was relieved.But a few days after the car had been returned i recieved an email from rmc stating they needed to tweak the engineers report.Stupidly i explained the car had gone back to the dealer.Now i get endless emails asking for details of the settlement? I never gave them this then i recieved there bill for a success fee.The bill was way more than the settlement.Having spoken with the finance company i was advised to reject there bill as they had done nothing i regards to the case.I know have written proof from the finance company.Upon rejecting rmcs bill i was met by threatening emails from Ian Ferguson the md.I told him you arent getting a penny as you did nothing.I was called a liar my company did everything on that case really? Send me proof.Wall of silence from him.A few months later he raised a small court claim for non payment.I put my side to the court and it was thrown out.Happy man till he raised his second case,again i put my side accross unfortunately this has gone to mediation.Which means getting time out of work for a phone call.Upon recieving written conformation from the finance company this week stating rmc did nothing apart from trying to get the finance company not to deal with me direct.They rejected there request as the dont take orders from 3rd party companies.Having tried to contact Ian Ferguson i was given a 9am time slot yesterday for his return call.Of course it didnt come.I emailed the company asking him to drop this bogus claim or i break my silence.After numerous emails last night he still believes his company are owed money as i signed a contract.This man still hasnt provided any written proof to me,so again i refuse to pay for something i didnt get.I am passing the written proof onto the court this week.All he does is accuse me of making threats when they are facts.9 months of mental stress and still ongoing.Please avoid this company.

The service from Reject My Car was very good to begin with – so much so that I recommended them to a few people based on my early experience.
Unfortunately, this didn’t continue through to the end of the process.
Towards the latter stages, communication became poor and emails were ignored. I requested a full breakdown of costs after receiving my settlement, particularly in relation to storage charges, but I have still not been provided with this despite it being promised.
There was no clear information given about where the vehicle was stored, how long it was stored for, or the rates being charged. This was not clearly explained at any stage.
This was especially frustrating as I have access to my own business yard and even suggested at the time that my local recovery garage could collect the vehicle from their premises. I was advised this wasn’t possible the car had to stay there not realising that storage charges were being applied daily/weekly.
It was only when my final payment was received that I saw £1,300 had been deducted for storage, which came as a surprise given this had not been clearly explained.
Overall, a strong start but disappointing communication and lack of clarity around costs at the end.

The only area I feel could be improved is communication, as there were periods where updates were limited and it sometimes felt as though progress had stalled. That said, I now appreciate that work was continuing behind the scenes during this time.

I contacted Reject My Car after exhausting all avenues of rejection myself with the dealer who supplied a brand new, high value motorhome nearly 6months earlier. The motorhome was plagued with faults on both chassis and habitation fronts.
Within an hour of submitting the online enquiry, I received a call from Ian (MD) confirming they would take up the case and passed over to Rhiannon (who is an expert with motorhomes) and the ball was set rolling. Remarkable customer service in any event, but this was also a Saturday!!
Thereafter, I was kept appraised of all the moving parts and although we faced significant headwinds in the form of the retailers' refusal to engage on the topic and their Advisors heading things off, Rhiannon pursued the case robustly. When I got cold feet, Ian took the time to reiterate to me our strong our position was and answer all of my questions.
Within two weeks of this phonecall with Ian & Rhiannon, the Retailer had got cold feet and offered to settle out of Court. Here, the hard work began and Rhiannon worked exceptionally hard to procure a very fair settlement, with which we were delighted.
I cannot recommend the Team at Reject My Car enough for what they have done for me and my family. It was an immensely stressful period but they shouldered the burden of the stress and confidently delivered the solution. I can only recommend them, thank you!
After trying to reject my car that had a major fault (still within 6 months of purchase) Reject My Car were able to swiftly help. We reached out to them in December 2025 as a last chance as repairs would have cost £11,000 to fix the car and the motor seller was refusing to take any ownership over the issue. We got news mid January 2026 that Reject My Car were successful in the case and I received a full refund from the motor seller (including tow expenses, car insurance and road tax spent on the vehicle).
We cannot thank Rhiannon and the team enough as the refund has massively helped and alleviated a lot of stress that has been caused since the breakdown in August 2025.
Couldn’t recommend Reject My Car enough, great communication throughout the process!

I would highly recommend this firm. I tried to reject a faulty brand new top of the range car. The garage had 4 attempts to rectify the charging issues and failed. I returned the car after 5 months and demanded a refund and was totally ignored even emails to the chief executive ignored. I contacted Reject my car and Rhiannon took on my case and with the team was able to get a full refund from one of the largest garage groups. I will now be able to purchase another car. Fantastic team of people, after buying a used car and carrying out all the usual checks on Autotrader, I discovered it was a cat s write off. I had massive issues with Arnold Clark regarding an Evoque I had bought. Second hand. Got in touch with these guys - the process itself isn’t fast, but the team, especially Ian, were great. I do reiterate, it’s the process. The manager to get an interdict quickly so that I didn’t have to keep paying the finance. They lent me a car for about 9 months. They were dealing with finance companies who were in no rush to settle. It was a painful process but Reject My Car made it a whole lot less stressful for me. Thanks very much for seeing this through to settlement.

I had a horrendous experience with the dealer who sold me my vehicle. Reject My Car took on the case and the handlers worked as diligently as they could. Unfortunately, my vehicle was difficult to diagnose and with more problems arising, I ultimately had to sell the vehicle whilst coughing up significant negative equity. However, the aftercare from Ian has been brilliant.
I recently added a review for Reject My Car with misguided frustration - This should have been directed at the dealership. Ian called me directly to discuss this which he did not have to do, this shows he truly cares for his company.
Despite having to sell the car due to financial reasons, which meant the case went unresolved. I wouldn't hesitate to bring another back to the company if I went through the same ordeal with another vehicle.

After buying a faulty Range Rover from John Clark Select in Edinburgh and being completely dismissed by their team I was left frustrated and helpless. But then I connected with Ian and, soon after, Daniel took over my case.
From day one, Daniel showed absolute professionalism, compassion, and persistence. He kept me fully updated and fought my corner when I couldn't. I cannot thank Ian and Daniel enough for my ordeal with rejecting my car! When I initially contacted them at the very start of my rejection of the car (within my 30 days and being pushed back by the dealership), they were honest and told me to pursue the channels before they take it over and gave me advice on how to approach things. When the dealership, finance company and first ombudsman let me down, I reached back out. Ian called and was more than happy to take on my case, explained in great detail how the process worked, the cost and the expected outcome. My case was passed onto Daniel who was great in keeping me updated and documenting everything. At the same time Daniel received an acceptance of the rejection of the car, the second ombudsman also came back confirming the car should have been taken back when originally rejected it within my 30 days! Thanks to Daniel, the dealership and the finance company were chased up regarding collection of the car and sorting out the refund. Daniel kindly helped me draft up responses to the ombudsman also as the finance company were dragging their heels, as well as refunding me around £500 less than they should have! All was sorted (a long 11 months in total) and full refund was received and the car taken out my name. I cannot recommend the team enough! I finally felt listened to, everything was explained to me without jargon and I felt fully confident in their abilities to sort this for me. 10/10 from Daniel, thank you so much once again!

Despite having problems with my initial online enquiry this did not stop Ian helping me with my enquiry.
Buying used cars is a horrible experience given the lack of care from some of the dealers and their tactics to avoid taking responsibility and hope you go away should there be a problem.
Ian's advice is spot on and everybody should be aware of their rights before making a purchase.
I will have to replace the car i have purchased after 3 months of hell trying to pursuade the dealer to just do what the law tells them they should do.
The next time I purhase a vehicle I will be having an active conversation with the seller about the consumer rights act and faults in the first 6 months and how they would behave

This company is a god send,.
My car had serious engine problems 2 weeks after my warranty ran out, I reported this as I thought the problem I was having was over a long period of time until blue smoke stated to come out of the engine..
The 2nd hand dealership wouldn’t help me at all even though I paid 13k and couldn’t use the car after 10weeks ..
I went to reject my car and although the process was timely through persistence they got the garage to agree to fix my car .. once they had my car and realized it needed a whole new engine they made an offer to buy this back from me .. but at a very reduced rate ..
without reject my car I would have just lost 13k and buy another car.
I will be forever grateful to them for helping me get some money for my car even though not a full refund..
