Title: Disputed restoration fee, unresolved retainer refund, and poor communication
My experience with Regus has been extremely disappointing.
I submitted my termination notice, vacated my office, and stopped using the space. On September 21, 2026, I received written confirmation that my account balance was $0.00 and that my retainer-return request had been received and was being processed.
Despite that communication, I subsequently received a new invoice for $494.29 described as an office restoration fee. I dispute this charge and have requested a clear explanation of its contractual basis and calculation. I also have photographs documenting the condition in which I left the office.
What has made this experience especially frustrating is the difficulty obtaining a clear, consistent response. I have been referred between people and departments without receiving a satisfactory resolution addressing the full history of my account.
I chose this office because I wanted a professional space for my business. I ultimately left because the arrangement no longer made financial sense for my business—not because I wanted a dispute. I expected a straightforward termination and return of my retainer, not additional charges that I would have to challenge afterward.
As of the date of this review, my concerns about the restoration fee and retainer remain unresolved.
I recommend that prospective customers carefully review their agreements, ask for clarification of any restoration or move-out fees in writing before signing, and retain copies of all notices, invoices, account statements, and communications.
I would welcome a written explanation of the disputed fee and the return of my retainer.
