Excellent service
Royal Mail were very slow to scan in the product for delivery and I was concerned something had gone wrong. I messaged Red Rock and they responded within about 30 mins with a reassuring email that all was ok and that they had also noticed issues with royal mails slow service. The thermostat E arrived and what I liked is that it is completely sealed, so is clearly brand new. And that is where my review finishes as this is a review of the sellers service and not of the product. From my experience I would use them again, especially if they keep offering excellent prices.

Ring, Ring... It's the Sound of a Dead Battery
Look, I'm all for a good deal, but "like new" is a phrase that apparently has a different meaning to some companies. It seems their definition of "refurbished" is less "restored to a state of near-perfection" and more "I gave it a quick wipe with a damp cloth."
You'd think a company that "checked" and "refurbished" a Ring Doorbell battery would, at a minimum, ensure it could hold a charge for more than 129 days, and 4 charge cycles. That's not a refurbished battery; that's a paperweight that briefly worked.
It's not about the money. It's about the principle. You're not just a customer to them; you're a lesson in how not to run a business. This company's customer service model is a masterclass in how to turn a minor issue into a chargeback situation.
I'd suggest giving this company a wide berth. As for the doorbell, you might have better luck powering it with a few copper pennies and a potato.
