I have yet to receive my rebate card from my last purchase on 12/20/25 and I never received my rebate card from my previous purchase on 10/8/24!

Love the concept, it just takes a bit of time to receive.

Receiving the rebate card took so long!! The process is extremely slow. Also do not like that it has to be mailed in and can’t be submitted online.

The easiest way to a rebate card. Love it! I have used them several times and it’s always easy and fast.

This takes way too long to process! Once I actually received the card months later it activated easily and worked fine. I’d definitely give it a 5 star rating if it was sent within maybe a month but waiting 3+ months for it is ridiculous

It was easy to submit proof of purchase and recieve the rebate card weeks later. Its my 4th time.

Don't know who to blame - but last time I applied for a rebate card from Lensdirect I did not send the mail-in application with signature requirement & the application was supposedly lost. How antiquated that it cannot be done online - I think it's a scam to make prices look competitive, with the hopes of making the process so inconvenient, that the customer doesn't bother.

It’s nice to get a rebate but it takes months for them to process and send it. Also when you mail in your proof of purchases etc to receive a rebate it’s a good idea to get a tracking number. And don’t forget about checking on the rebate! It takes so long for them to process, it’s like they wait till the last possible minute before the time limit is up, so if you don’t stay on top of it, the due date can come and go without ever hearing from them and thus forfeit your rebate. Happened to me once. They claimed they never received my application and proof of purchases and I had nothing to prove I had sent them. By the time I realized, it was past the due date and they wouldn’t honor. It feels like they bank on people forgetting about it.

They did eventually process my rebate, so I'll give them a point for that. However, it took about six months, which is dramatically less than speedy. It was also in the form of a prepaid credit card, which may be ideal for some people, but I'd have found a check more fungible.

I still havent gotten my rebate. Its been over 5 months

Communication and ease to apply!

This place is a scam! Everything was sent to them within the time frame. They claim they “never” received it and now the time frame has expired. This place needs to be shut down!!

Got two rebate cards from 1800contacts for $40 each. QR code to activate does not work. Tiny tiny lettering to go to URL sort of works, but doesn't show credit for each card, and only $20 for other card. What a joke. They are purposely trying to make it impossible to collect the rebate. Very frustrating. Will never shop here again. Good bye.

I followed this company’s rebate instructions exactly, including spending extra to send my rebate form by USPS Certified Mail. USPS tracking confirms the rebate form is waiting at their Post Office for pickup, but the company refuses to pick it up. When I contacted customer service, they brushed me off with boilerplate answers and claimed they are not responsible.

This makes no sense since they required Certified Mail (signature required), but then use a P.O. Box address where Certified Mail cannot be delivered without pickup. It feels like a deliberate obstacle to avoid honoring rebates.

I will never use this rebate program again, and I encourage others to be cautious before relying on this company’s rebate offers.
