Let down by delivery
When I first rang to tell them it hadn’t been delivered the response was “ you’re saying it hasn’t been delivered” I had to assert “I’m not saying, I’m telling you!”
If the bottles I ordered had been delivered to the correct address the buying experience and review would reflect better.
Perhaps I was just unlucky but my purchase was left unattended at a doorstep in another street in full view of any road user. It was apparently signed for but no one can say who by. Anyone could have taken it which would have caused a lot of grief.. Fortunately we managed to find it and recovered it.
I did receive a belated explanation but the experience left me cautious given they use a delivery agent who cannot locate a correctly labelled address and postcode.
The whole experience levels me wary.
The packaging, condition and whisky itself was good.
This was just my experience and other reviews rated delivered.
I’d say don’t let this put you off but if you’re order doesn’t arrive as it should put the responsibility of resolving it on the seller.

My grandad bought a £150.00 bottle of whiskey from this company but after a short time the cork disintegrated as he tried to pull it out of the bottle. I sent images and Charlene responded quickly to say it looks like a faulty product. I have sent e-mail after e-mail without response. I called Charlene and she said she would get someone to call me back, again, no response. Any company can gain good feedback from orders that are shipped out, that's easy but it tells me a lot about a company when they have to deal with a problem. With that in mind The Really Good Whisky company are happy to take your £150.00 but NOT interested in sorting any issues out. Stay well clear and buy your whisky from another company!!

As the bottle was already partly consumed when the cork broke, we recommended contacting the brand directly so they could investigate the issue with the closure. We understand this wasn’t the outcome you had hoped for, and we’re sorry for the frustration caused.

Very good price on a Laphroaig 10 cask strength batch #17 so I ordered two. They delivered two batch #16, which I already have several of, and the #17 is now showing as out of stock. They have not responded to my enquiries.

Not much wrong most recent purchase. The one before that was an incorrectly described.
650 pounds for a bottle of Japanese Hakushu 18 year old centenary Whisky which turned out to be no centenary. that RGW are not comcerned to remedy. Offering a refund on return of the bottle is an insult as that would be legally required at the very minimum.
You can apologise all you like but they are just empty words.
I can assure you l know quite a few Whisky collectors and drinkers and l will be steering them away from RGW.
10% off next order? What happened to that.

These folks deliver tequila just as well as they do whisky
Having ordered whiskies before, I knew my tequila order would be perfect - and it was. Well packaged, with the original box flat packed. Good price. It arrived when it was expected. Spot on!
