Very disappointed with this product

I bought a QuietPC in December 2020 and chose an option with one mechanical drive (Seagate), the rest solid state. I've never heard a mechanical drive make this much noise before but the website did warn me that any mechanical drive would make noise.

Today I finally got around to unscrewing the back cover of the cabinet and the reason there is so much noise is a mistake in the build. A small slat in the metal plate on which the segate drive is vertically mounted is not put into place. It makes the whole metal plate vibrate continously. As far as I can tell, it requires a complete disassemble to fix.

I'm very disappointed that a company with quiet PCs as their selling proposition lets a build go with a mistake any visual inspection could catch. And there's a certain irony in attaching a drive with silencing rubber around the screws to a loose metal plate which vibrates like rain on a tight drum.

To be able to sit in my study and not hear a fan on my PC is a dream come true. The PC I have purchased is without a doubt an excellent purchase as well as good value fort money.
Their technical advice in what components to use was first rate. Who said PC’s were going out of fashion, for with machines like these they are invaluable for a home office.
If I was looking to purchase another PC ‘Quietpc’ would be my first and only option.
