I was their customer. I had 4 Mbit connection, speed was 40 kbps or some time 10 kbps.
If you ask them disconnect your connection, they will ask pay the bill and give us Internet Modem device, they already charged fees of modem in your bill, you paid bill in past, but device is still not yours. Same corrupt department like WAPDA in Pakistan
When you ask them about Internet connection, how much will be you monthly bill, they will lie. They will hide all taxes, provincial tax, fedral tax, line rent, and call charges which you do not need.

They Dont Deliver what they promise
We paid for a new connection (300 Mbps, Rs. 27499/-) on 2nd June, 2026, but it's 9th June, 2026. Still, New Internet Connection not installed. Their team visited our premises but not installed by, saying there is no internet feasibility in our area.
The question is, the first time on the call when we requested a new connection, that agent surveyed our exact pinned location and said there is Fiber Internet Service in (P Block, DHA Phase 8, Ex-Air Avenue, Lahore), but when their Technician came for installation, they said there is no DP nearby.
Such a headache you want to give to your customers?
Called helpline 1218 and registered Complaint ID (4345445), and after no further update, we requested a refund Ticket (4345705).

PTCL is the Worst Internet Service I've Ever Experienced
I have been a PTCL customer for years, but my recent experience has been unacceptable.
On June 3, a PTCL representative contacted me and suggested that my connection be reset and migrated to a new one. I was told this would reduce my monthly bill and remove paper bill charges. After I agreed, my existing connection was deactivated and a new connection was created.
Since the evening of June 3 (around 7 PM), I have effectively been without internet service.
My connection shows download speeds of only around 5 Mbps and upload speeds of approximately 0.02 Mbps. The upload speed is so poor that many websites, cloud services, video calls, and work-related applications simply do not function. For practical purposes, the connection is unusable.
I rely on the internet for my work with international platforms and clients, and this outage has caused significant disruption. I have contacted PTCL support multiple times, opened two registered complaints, and repeatedly followed up through their helpline. Despite this, the issue remains unresolved.
What is most frustrating is not just the technical problem itself, but the lack of effective customer support and the inability to get a clear timeline for resolution. Days have passed without a meaningful fix.
If you depend on a reliable internet connection for work or business, think carefully before choosing PTCL. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I regret agreeing to the migration that led to this situation.

Internet breaks everytime when I'm doing my important stuff. Huge speculation in internet speed. Jumps from like 9Mbps to direct 3Mbps sometime. I am extremely disappointed with the PTCL broadband installation service. I booked my broadband installation request through 1218 two weeks ago, and I paid all the installation charges the very next day.
However, during these two weeks, only one representative from your side contacted me, and even that interaction involved misinformation and poor communication. I was neither given proper updates nor informed clearly about the status of my installation request.
Today, when the installation team arrived at my location, they discovered that my request had already been cancelled. What is even more disappointing is that I never received any message, call, or notification regarding the cancellation or refund of my charges.
Keeping a customer waiting for two weeks and then cancelling the request without any prior information is highly unprofessional and irresponsible. This entire experience has left me with a very negative impression of PTCL’s customer service and management.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and that better communication and professional customer handling are ensured in the future.

Worst service ever. There were 7 connections in my street, I am the only one left. We all installed ptcl flash fiber, worked without any issues at first. But then after, outages and outages. No response. Had it installed in my office.6 MONTHS OF COMPLAINING WITHOUT ANY RESPONSE. Yet they have the audacity to charge extra. Stay away.
The service is very poor
The service is very poor. If you have any other option, avoid using PTCL. They wasted 15 days of my time and then told me the connection could not be installed because their pipe was blocked.
Even when processing refunds, they behave unprofessionally. I submitted my refund request on April 10, but when I followed up a week later, I found out they had only entered it into their system on April 14. Now they say the refund will take two more weeks.
Identity Misuse Case – PTCL
I want to share a serious and frustrating experience I recently had with PTCL so others stay aware.
Without my knowledge or consent, a PTCL connection was installed using my CNIC and name at an unknown address. I only found out when I received a bill on WhatsApp showing my details but a completely different address.
I immediately contacted 1218 customer support, but instead of helping, they wasted my time and money. The first time, they didn’t even properly lodge my complaint. The second time, they registered an irrelevant complaint and later marked it as “resolved” even though nothing was actually fixed.
I was repeatedly told the issue was resolved when it clearly wasn’t. On top of that, I was often indirectly blamed, as if this was my fault.
I also visited multiple PTCL exchanges in person, spending money on petrol and my own time, only to be told I would receive callbacks that never came.
Meanwhile, the unauthorized connection remained active under my identity, and I was even told to pay charges and return equipment for a connection that was never mine.
After around 10 days of constant follow-ups, calls, and visits, PTCL finally corrected the issue and removed my name, shifting the connection to the actual user.
While the issue is now resolved, this raises serious concerns:
How was my CNIC used without proper verification?
How did my personal data get leaked?
Why was customer support so careless and misleading?
What guarantee is there that this won’t happen again?
This was not just inconvenience — it was a clear case of identity misuse and poor handling by customer support.
I am still seeking full details and may proceed with legal action.
Everyone should stay alert and regularly check if their personal information is being misused.

I would like to file a complaint regarding a very disappointing experience with PTCL.
First of all, I called the PTCL helpline on 20th February. A female representative informed me that PTCL services were available in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, and that internet installation was possible. She generated a voucher and sent it to me, and I made the payment on the same day (20th February).
However, on 26th February, I received a call from the technician who was supposed to install the internet. He informed me that PTCL service is not available in Thokar Niaz Baig and that installation is not possible. I waited for some time, but the internet was never installed.
I then called the PTCL helpline again on 26th February, and they told me that my complaint had been registered and that my payment would be refunded. However, I did not receive any refund.
After that, I called again on 27th or 28th February. A supervisor spoke with me for around 30 minutes and assured me that I would receive my refund within 30 days (by around 27th or 28th March). Unfortunately, I still did not receive my payment.
On 11th April, I called again, but my call was disconnected without any help. I called again and spoke with another agent, but my issue was still not resolved. Then my call was transferred to a supervisor named Shan Muhammad. I spoke with him for a long time, but instead of resolving my issue, he gave a new excuse that I must create a U Paisa account to receive my refund, otherwise I would not get my payment.
This is completely unacceptable. I do not use U Paisa, and I am not willing to create an account just to receive my own money.
At this point, it feels like I have given this money as a gift to PTCL, because if it has not been refunded in over 50 days, it seems very unlikely that I will ever receive it. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has made me question the credibility of your service.
I request you to kindly resolve this issue immediately and process my refund without any further delay or unnecessary conditions.

PTCL’s team must be too busy doing “peace work” around the world, because apparently shifting a connection from the 6th floor to the 4th floor is beyond them. It’s been a full week since I submitted the request on 4th April, and not a single person has shown up to get it done. This level of delay is completely unacceptable.

PTCL’s network has become extremely poor. The internet speed is almost non-existent and keeps disconnecting again and again. Their services are completely third-class, and the worst part is that calling the helpline is useless—no proper response and no resolution. On top of that, their network stays down for days, and their technical team doesn’t even bother to restore it on time. Customers are left dealing with frustration and a complete waste of time.
