I had a very poor experience with this company assigned by Openfix insurance. They failed to fix a recurring boiler issue, repeatedly delayed appointments, and gave conflicting information about the engineer’s visit and calls. It seems they are only interested in the call-out fee and do not care about their customers.
Was assigned an engineer via PlusHeat to carry out a routine boiler service. Was advised a painfully large availability window of 0800 to 2000 and they never turned up.
Was assigned a second date for them to turn up and they didn’t arrive then either.
DO NOT GO WITH THE PROPERTY DR.
Both engineers were polite and knowledgeable. They completed thorough checks on my boiler and managed to resolve the issue quickly.
Was due a boiler service and my insurance company sent round Darren and his colleague. During the service he noticed it needed a gasket change as the current one had worn out and was leaking. Replacing it was not part of my contract on my insurer. He was only meant to be here for a 30min service but stayed over and hour and a half to get it sorted.
The thing that actually took the time was my insurer approving the cost of it which Darren kindly talked me through and waited for it to be done so he had the go ahead. Otherwise my insurer was trying to push for another call out on another day. It being Friday would have left me with no hot water for the weekend.
Real star service and credit to the company. Showed me the worn out part at the end and gave me some advice ready for my next service.
Any issues in the future and I'll be calling you guys directly. Thanks so much.

Harry was great. He called when he was about an hour away to let me know his ETA.
When he arrived he was very friendly and got to work straight away.
He explained the problem with the boiler and kept me informed while he sorted the issue out.
All in all a great service from a credit to his company. Lovely hot water again.
He was efficient, professional and courteous at all times.

I called my insurance company Nationwide to ask for help with a leak inside the wall below a radiator. They sent Darren & Reagan from Property Dr Ltd very promptly. They called me 45 minutes before arriving to let me know they were on their way. When they arrived, they tackled what was a difficult job on old corroded pipework that had been buried in the wall and spotted that there were two separate leaks. My insurance only covered them stopping the leak by capping the pipes but they went the extra mile and fully completed the repair. I am so grateful that they took the trouble to do such a great job! Highly recommended.
Dreadful company. If I could give 0 stars I would. After waiting for 3 days for a response to my emergency insurance call out, sedgwick sent an 'engineer/plumber' from The Property Dr Ltd to do a temporary repair to the leak which was coming through my landing ceiling from the cold water tank in the loft. He just looked through the hatch and took a photo and said he'd be back shortly with a part or something to fix it. We never saw him again. He was completely clueless, didn't even know what plumbers maite was. After 3 hours we rang Sedgwick to ask what was going on and they told us the 'engineer' reported back that the leak was unrepairable due to a crack in the tank and we would need a new tank which was not what he told us. We managed to do a temporary repair ourselves and when we called a real plumber he managed to repair our tank and told us there was no crack and just needed a new part and now it's as good as new. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE COWBOYS AND LIARS!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Absolutely the best and most reliable heating and plumbing company I have dealt with! I had the the pleasure of having an engineer called Micky deal with my boiler issues and he went above and beyond for me. Very friendly, polite and respectful. Found an issue with my boiler that was not the one he was called out for and fixed it there and then for me, clearly has the experience and knowledge!
If you are not using this company already then make sure you make it a priority that you do!
