After paying my payment 's for months still no #Gift card called them up on 23rd September said it will be here in a few days ....after a few more calls I'm very angry promised me 2×they would call me back with info ..left me sat with not a word total disrespect if this is how it goes getting a promised gift I would not like to think what it's like to get a payout on death what a lack of everything Beware of idol promises of this company.

Promis life are crap,they promis you a gift card,then they send you a letter stating that you bought it through a third party, what utter crap I have all the emails from them, it's not the gift card but i always think if they are good to thier word then they will be good when the time comes, so they sent the gift card with a not so nice letter, wouls not bother with them, if i had bought through a third party they would not of sent the card, buyers beware.So they looked into my complaint letter dated 17th 10/2022 and tell me they have given me £50 compensation for my upset over this, stuff the money, this is not over money its the way Promis life has treated me, making out I am a liar, PROMIS life, why dont you ask me for copy of email you have sent me when I took this policy out, these letters have caused me distress, I DID NOT BUY THIS POLICY from A THIRD PARTY, i have this in writing, or is this a way that you try to get away from giving out the cards, ask me for the emails I have which you tell me i am entiled to this card, and then you can send me a big sorry letter. you can have your card and £50 back this is about you calling me a liar in the way you have written your letters to me.

I had no choice but to cancel my policy and the direct debits. I rang to inform them of this. Firstly the woman I spoke to told me that I cannot cancel my direct debits. I explained that I wish to cancel due to personal circumstances and can no longer afford payments. She was trying to get me to stay. I told her I was in my right to cancel. Felt abit pressured. 😕 hope that they recognise that I no longer wish to make the payments. No means no.

MISINFORMATION
I have received my Love 2 Shop gift voucher of £100 after completing the first years payments, unfortunately there was no information saying that the vouchers cannot be used on-line. I am a disabled pensioner who relies on friends and family for transport. I now have to wait until someone has the time to take me or go themselves to get what I want from Curry's this information needs to be in your advertising as I would have chosen elsewhere, but I'am now trapped as I have been paying into this policy and cannot afford to sign that off and go elsewhere. Would I recommend you ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I'm just trying to call and make a payment to my policy and I have now been on hold for nearly 2 hours trying to get through. Imagine I was a relative of a person who had passed away trying to get through and how distressing this would be. Absolutely not good enough.

Did online request for over 50s plan and spoke to advisor.got email with figures but only one follow up call b4 I'd made my mind up.decided to go ahead today and rang them to be told no new policies being issued at the moment and advisor had no idea why - what??? Absolutely disgusting not even a courtesy call to tell me. Shame on them for rubbish service and won't go near em, even tho initial quote was competitive against British Seniors policy. Be aware!!!!

Not one for writing reviews but compelled to on the back of reading so many negatives for stupid things that could easily be resolved eg unhappy with advert or ringing up when some has expressed interest. The measure of a company is how their end to end process works and in PL's case, that could take some time. My experience has been great so far, plan set up over a year ago for vulnerable relative, who doesnt fit the box for a typical quote. All sorted and done and in place, voucher sent 6 months on (a nice bonus) with no expectation of having to deal until a later time. Sensitively and efficiently dealt with and peace of mind over a delicate situation.

I expressed an interest in this insurance some time ago along with several other companies for comparison. I was pressured into making a decision right away which I did not do. Once I gathered all my info and found them not to be competitive I requested no further contact. An extremely rude and pushy sales person demanded to know why I did not want their service. I have been contacted many times over the last year each time by a very rude sales person shouting above me on the phone demanding my reasons for contacting them in the first place. I have blocked all their calls but still another sales person called today, typical of this company another operative shouting to drown out my voice requesting they stop contacting me. Most unprofessional, pushy company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. What part of I am not interested do they fail to understand?

My mum has a policy with promis life I pay it for her which I don't mind at all I am disappointed in the payout amounts and the monthly payments I mean there other companies charging more than half off what I'm paying for 3 times the payout 45 pounds a month for ar 8000 pounds seems quite high if it wasn't for the fact off losing the money I've paid for just over 3 years my mum would definitely look else where which had got me thinking yeah I'd lose everything I've paid but would be worth it for a lot lower monthly payment and a very larger payout for her family and her funeral reading these reviews have definitely got me thinking especially the one about waiting 2 months for the payout this is why we have these companies to take the pressure off money at a very hard time

I only asked for a quick quote & no other contact.
I asked for a quick quote as they stated was available on their Facebook advert but expressed no sales call or other contact. Wow call from a very pushy salesman, luckily I am not easily intimidated. Absolutely spammed with pushy emails most, or which I found in junk folder. Plus letters in mail. Quote was high as well. I think I have finally stopped emails by unsubscribing from general mailing list and blocking individual sales emails. I am just returning another unopened advertising letter asking to remove me from mailing list. I can't see why companies like this don't realise so much sales contact puts people off

I was dealing with my grandma's funeral and life insurance policy and she was with promis life so when it came to claiming the money I was under the impression that it was a quick and easy process as it said in the letter and was I very wrong its being nothing but stress and upset and created nothing but harm to my mental health the level of customer service as being nothing short of absolutely appalling I am constantly past from pillar to post and 2 months down the line still haven't received my grandma's payment its just the worst company I've ever come across I warn anyone avoid this company like the plague

Desperate!!!
Had a look online just to see costs and within 5 mins there phoning me. Sorry thats a little desperate as I would shop around and not take first quote without fully looking into my options. Out of principal I would not buy of tbis company as I am sure alot is commission based!! Thought the sales calls days were a thing of the past!!!
