Agree with all the negative comments here. Moreover this equipment comes preloaded with iFit and you have to click out of the app's harangue to get you to join. After 5 clicks, you can finally do a manual start. AND you can't get rid of the app AND they don't give a flip.

Outside of manual mode settings, if you enter the iFIT library without logging in, you can access a few free workouts without a membership. These workouts will control your machine automatically to guide you through a great workout. We hope you try it out.

They cant find a Carrier in my area lol

Purchased an elliptical trainer last year, i assembled it plugged it up and Boom out of the box it was making a clicking noise all on its own. They sent a Tech out to my place and nice of the gentleman to bring my mail out of my mailbox and hand it to me. Weird. Anyways he worked on the machine for 2 hours installed the new part and still not working. He said he'd back out at the end of the week and he never showed up. I wont bore you with details, but i was refunded my money and they tried to charge me $250 for shipping. I think not, so it was eventually waived. So 7 months of calls and assured "ESCALATION" to the delivery dept, the machine is still here... standing in the corner of the living room. Finally got an answer, 7 months ago that they cant find a Carrier to pick up my machine. I live in a major city, so thats a crock of spit. I recently already had the machine repaired by a real professional and ill continue to use it, for free. Thanks Proform.

Worst Customer Support

I purchased the C7L bike new, and when I arrived home to get it assembled, the assembly for the monitor was bent, making the monitor extremely crooked. I reached out to customer support after registering the bike (they will not acknowledge you without this step), and after a long time and sending images, was told I would receive a confirmation email and replacement parts. Three weeks later, I have neither. I reached out to the original rep, and recieved no reply. Then, I received another email stating that "it looked like this has been resolved by a teammate". It hasn't. I put the alledged order number for the replacement parts into the tracking, and it doesn't seem to exist. Then, in another joke of communication, I received yet ANOTHER email the same day saying that "it looks like this has been resolved by a team mate". If it has, I will be the last one to know. I am contemplating hauling this thing back to Lowes and just being done.

The automated email you have been receiving must be due to the account being marked as resolved after the representative thought the replacement parts had been ordered.

Well I ordered their Hiit Trainer

Well I ordered their Hiit Trainer. I also had white glove delivery and it was delivered without a parts kit so their staff couldnt put it together. I was told I would be contacted but nothing so i sent emails to support. I gave them a week and a half to repond to my support requests and nothing. The only people you can contact are sales and they send you to support(Company seems to be all sales no support).You are constantly sent to a bot that is mostly useless and an agent never connects to chat. If you send an email all you get is automated response that someone will reach out to you shortly(has happened more than once). I have a machine in parts on my floor. There are better choices out there.

We bought a Proform Bike

We bought a Proform Bike. Delivery delayed twice due to a “broken truck”. Then the assembly guys quickly did their job and never checked if the screen worked which it did not. After hours on phone we decided we couldn’t trust this company. We returned this bike but guess what, no one answers emails and hours on phone, we are still waiting for the return credit. Worst customer service. Buyers need to be aware.

Worst experience EVER

Worst experience EVER! I ordered an elliptical in January, it was scheduled for delivery in late January. The delivery drivers showed up 2 hours early and said I refused delivery. I had made arrangements for someone to be at my home during the delivery window they gave me. It took hours on the phone to get another delivery date scheduled. Two weeks later it was delivered and assembled by the white glove service for which I paid extra. The elliptical was assembled incorrectly with the support legs pointing backwards which made it tip over if I stood on it. I called immediately, was told they would send back the delivery drivers right away. HA!!! Never came and never called. Hours on the phone to get some sort of resolution. They finally reversed the charge for the white glove delivery and "escalated" my concerns to their technicians to make an appointment for them to fix it. I waited 2 weeks for a call, no call. Hours on the phone to get a person, super pissed by now and asked if I could just return the equipment. I was sent to billing to work on those arrangements. The woman I spoke to in billing would not allow me to schedule a return until I "gave them a chance" to make it right. She ignored me when I told her I had already waited 2 weeks. I finally hung up, completely exhausted from dealing with the incompetence. Then, on the next business day the 3XM tech service called to schedule an appointment. I again made arrangements for someone to be at my house while I was at work. Three days before the appointment, I got a text requesting to reschedule the visit by 2 weeks. Of course I agreed! THEN......on the day of the initial appointment, I got a call from the technician informing me he was on his way to my house. Having no way to leave work and get there I had to turn him away after I explained that appointment had been cancelled. I have been trying for 10 days to clarify whether someone is coming to my house this week or not. NO RESPONSES to calls and texts. So, if it not fixed on Friday, I am returning it for a full refund. It is an absolute failure to provide ANY service and they keep saying they're understaffed....then quit selling equipment you can't maintain.

DO NOT BUY!! ServiceLESS customer service

If I could give this company less than zero I would. Bought a treadmill in February 2021 and started having issues December 2021. Did all the recommended troubleshooting tried to do what they recommended. Nothing worked. Called multiple times and was constantly placed on excessively long holds or transferred and hung up on. Finally got someone named Alexandria who was actually nice 2 weeks before the warranty expired and she sent me a part and told me that if the part didn't solve the issue even if it’s after the warranty period we’d be covered because the issue was reported before. Welp guess what.. they sent me the part but the FOR THE WRONG TREADMILL!!! I tried to follow up and constantly put on hold and transferred and told to talk to some else. Now my item is out of warranty and they’re refusing to assist without changing even though the issue was reported while still under warranty and never resolved and THEIR rep said we’d be covered. This is insane to invest $1000 into something that only worked right for 10 months. This is an absolute nightmare

They do NOT honor warranty!

We have had a "Poorform" 16.9 elliptical for about 5 years now. It's a decent machine for the money, except for the quality of materials/durability. We basically have a complete home gym, weight benches, treadmill, bag, and the elliptical- all different manufacturers, all in our basement. We take care of our stuff, wipe down after use. The elliptical paint has been chipping off and the frame is rusting over the entire machine. No problem like this with the other equipment. When I bought the elliptical, it came with a lifetime frame warranty, 6 years parts, 3 labor. Well, they don't offer those long term warranties any longer, and I see why. Needless to say, they will not honor their warranty for the frame or parts, which is still active. Also, when I spoke with a rep about it, he was very rude and condescending, telling me I neglected my machine, and they would only cover it if it had been that way when I bought it. Well, if that were the case, I would have refused delivery. They treat their customers like dirt. This will be my last poorform POS. Thanks for reading

UPDATE...
So after sending Proform the info they asked for, they decided to just end my warranty prematurely. Guess they didn't feel like replacing any of the parts my machine needed. Nice of them to stand behind their product. Beware of buying their crap because apparently they can just cancel your warranty when it suits them. DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

customer service doesn't exist!!

Tried calling customer service several times only to be put on hold over 40 minutes each time still no human spoke to me. Tried the live chat which is a computer program which was of no help either. Tried to email them and treadmill didnt even populate in drop down so I had to pick a random one just to complete the email. Given case # on Feb 16,2022 and heard crickets, Given another case# again today.
Finally called Costco.com and they are going to see if they have better luck and maybe they will take their call, email, or however else they can actually speak to someone in customer service. The thing is I believe the treadmill is a good machine and what I'm inquiring about i think is a minor issue. However if this is what customer service is about what is going to happen if I have a serious issue?

After reading Pro Form's review I can see a similar pattern here. I specifically told them about the constant 40+ minute hold times, in which I still was not able to speak to a human being. Based on their reply as guess good old fashioned customer service they dont believe in. I tried your emails and was given two case numbers already so I'm not interested in a third nor am I interested in your other type of email. Here is a novel idea, how about you calling me on the phone and we can discuss this like normal people that do business with any normal corporation in regards to customer service. Good grief!!

absolutely the worst experience ever. Confirmed a delivery date the driver calls and says "I am here" he then realizes HE had the wrong address (I had provided the correct one) SPENT 3 HOURS ON 4 CALLS WITH THE DELIVERY COMPANY NO ONE CAN FIND THE DRIVER OR THE TRUCK. I AM FURIOUS...NO CLUE WHERE MY ELLIPTICAL IS WHEN I MIGHT GET IT...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Personal Trainer POO POOS this brand!

Update: 3/22-Well I emailed them and again they have told me I have to pay to have it "looked at" when it was NEVER assembled correctly by their people in the first place, yep I knew it! What a COLOSSAL waste of my time. May as well have not bothered to contact them b/c I knew this would be the answer. I tried to contact them a few over the year but I kept getting the run around with we cannot b/c of Covid, or we do not have anyone in your area...blah, blah.... until my "limited bullSHIZ warranty" was out of date. I think that is what they do. I will never buy this line again and I am having them removed from all my gyms and will be removing this from my home gym. I will no longer be recommending this line to any of my clients or in my gym set-up consulting work I do. Sadly they have burned the shi* out of me, and they used to be great. What a waste of time! BTW they did tell me my PARTS would be covered. I do not need a part, I have NEVER USED IT, it was simply assembled incorrectly. I already paid 1200+ for something that I will never be able to use why on earth would I pay your company more money to fix what should have been assembled by your team correctly in the first place. Time to spread the love.

I am a PT and I bought the proform 9.9 pro elliptical trainer for my home/client gym. WORST PURCHASE EVER. The people that delivered it offered to assemble it for an extra fee, which I paid b/c in Oct 2020 my mother was very sick and I had already been waiting on delivery of it since long before Oct so I just needed help putting it together and being done. Also, due to COVID, they would not bring it in my home without me having them put it together, which I did not know until AFTER I purchased it so I was kind of stuck anyhow and with our steps there was no way I could get it in alone.
So...they put it together and split. They were very nice and I thought it was done. Well my mother took a turn for the worse and passed away mid oct so needless to say I did not get on it until some time in Jan when things settled a tad. I love ellipticals and know exactly how they should work but I found this one was very stiff, hard to ride, did not glide well and made a knocking noise. Since proform had hired/contracted with the delivery people I thought they could tell me who they were so I could have them come back out and fix whatever was wrong, b/c they put it together. Nope they told me it would be a $169.00 diagnostic fee and then whatever on top of that to fix it. AH NO... I just bought it. So...I have never been able to even use it. I bought from them b/c they WERE, WERE a great brand. I also lost out on my free ifit whatever...so I would NEVER rec this brand to any of my clients, customers. I will never buy anything proform again.

Bad customer service and support during sales

I ordered something with a shipping date of 16 January; the started processing the order in February and it has still not been shipped.
Their customer service does not respond to any correspondance either.
Had to cancel and order something from best buy, received in 2 days.

I have had good experiences with the bench and weight set I recently got from pro form. This is equipment we have been looking for for years and are more picky about since it sees twice daily use between my husband and I.

If I could give zero stars I would!! I purchased an elliptical trainer on…

I purchased an elliptical trainer on December 27th 2021 and still have not received it. Although I have called and received emails with tracking information it does not appear to be valid. The website says that my order is being processed and the shipping information only says ordered. However the customer service person I spoke with says it has been shipped. It’s almost February. This is the worst customer service. I can understand delays and I totally appreciate communication. However in the absence of any communication it just makes me think I’m being lied to. So very disappointing. Shame on ProForm. Do better!

When I purchased this treadmill I was…

When I purchased this treadmill I was under the impression that I would be able to use the wifi and Bluetooth to get on any app on the Internet. Some times I want to watch Dr. Phil while I work out. Everything was fine until the one year free membership was over. At that time, they did a “software update” which took away my ability to go online. There is no way I would have spent this kind of money $1500.00 on this treadmill had someone disclosed that the wifi capabilities can only be used with an IFit subscription. Proform and Ifit are sister companies so just know that they are looking out for their sister, not you. I am very very dissatisfied and disappointed.
Just let the buyer beware. The only thing that I can do at this point is go out and spend more money.

A WiFi connection is required to access onboarding workouts available without an iFIT subscription, or the iFIT library. Without a WiFi connection, you are able to manually control your treadmill.

Please understand that WiFi is not blocked on your machine, yet only the iFIT app is compatible for streaming on the console. Other apps are not compatible to be streamed on the console. If you prefer to stream from other apps while exercising, another device would be required.

DO NOT BUY THIS TREADMILL-Software issues and abrupt stopping

Purchased the ProForm 900 treadmill and in less than nine months, the treadmill has software issues and I have almost tripped twice because the treadmill stop suddenly. My treadmill is under warranty but after repeated attempts to contact via email, treadmill and calling, no one has responded. It has been over three weeks. Holds times for support are over two hours and when you get thru, the call is dropped. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. I have a 23 inch white screen and treadmill that can't stream anything.

I purchased my Pro-Form treadmill on…

Dear Pro-Form,

I did just as you said and still no reply. It seems to me that your customers are not a priority. Should I just return my treadmill at this point?

*Update- someone finally answered after 2 hours and 15 minutes on hold. But, I was told that they would need me to call back once I was near the treadmill so that they could do a video call, otherwise they couldn't help me.
I have photos of the issue! I have emailed them them photos! Why make me call back and sit on hold for another 2 plus hours?! They also said they would update my registration date but that was never done.

I purchased my Pro-Form treadmill on 1/15/2022. While putting it together, I got to the left upright arm and discovered that it is the wrong bar for my treadmill or it was made incorrectly. I have tried emailing and calling them several times. I have currently been on hold for 1 hour 46 minutes and counting. This is just today! I spent almost 2 hours trying to call yesterday and didn't get an answer. I was super excited about my treadmill and now I just want to return it back to Lowes and buy a different brand with better customer service! Highly disappointed.

Do not purchase a Proform product

I purchased a $1200 proform treadmill that has been a safety nightmare. After spending 8 hours on the phone with customer service a month ago to fix a part, other parts broke. This call I spent 1 hour 22 minutes on hold only to be hung up on. I also emailed customer service twice and tweeted for help and have had no response.

Don’t order from ProForm if you actually want to get your item…

I ordered my machine back on December 17. I have still yet to receive it. I have called customer service daily and have not been given an update. I keep getting the run around and told that someone will call me. I paid for white glove delivery and from what I can tell, the item has been sitting at my local carrier since January 11. I am so disappointed in my purchase and the customer service. Costco has this same treadmill for $300 less. I might as well cancel my order and go and pick one up today. Calling back today for an update, but if there is no update, that is what I am going to do.
