Thank you for your order and for taking the time to leave us a review although I am saddened to see this is only 3 stars.
Our April auction ended at 21:36 on Monday 4th May and more than 1 lot was purchased so I am not sure if this review is for PWA?
With regards to the end time of our auctions, we close FROM 8pm as per our website, T & Cs, newsletters, social media etc however from experience it usually closes between 9-10pm.
We invested in this anti-sniping software to keep bidding fair and it is also used by a lot of other whisky auctions.
This means that if you are bidding against another member for a specific lot during the final 5 minutes of an auction, the end time will be extended by 10 minutes. This will continue until no more bids are entered and the lot has been sold.
There is also the option to add your maximum bid on any lot which mean you can add a price you are happy to pay then forgot about bidding. You are then notified when the auction ends and whether you are successful with your bidding.

A good all round experience
The bidding system is easy to navigate and place bids. Easy search facilities. Regular notifications sent to keep you up to date on your bids. Easy checkout procedure and very quick delivery. I've not yet had any bottles for sale through PWA, but their process seems fluid. I'd thoroughly recommend PWA.

Good experience as both a buyer & seller. Good collection process (and lower minimum value required for free collection than other auctions). Decent audience - most of my bottles sold for more than I was expecting (based on recent hammer prices). Lower seller commission than other sites (but always worth checking).
As a buyer, things were equally smooth. Prompt, well-packaged delivery.
Perhaps not as wide a range of bottles as some other sites, but they still get some top-quality bottlings and I make sure to check-in every month.
