My son had an amazing time for his 7th birthday today. He absolutely loved it at power league. Coach Jay was amazing, patient and very professional. Thank you for giving my son an amazing experience.

Avoid this company at all costs. This is honestly the worst run company I have ever dealt with. No rules or policies sent out for you when you join and sent a friend of mine debt collection letters and threatened court action for a fee that had already been paid. No apology just told this was a “mix up”.

Really is not worth your time or money.

Absolutely the worst company that has yet run the league i used to play in. Played there for about 6 to 7 years. Since these took over we have given up because it's so so badly run. Avoid if thinking of joining and join with a different company and leagues

We have today had our son’s 6th birthday party at power league Birmingham. Wow wow wow. All the staff took care of everything and went above and beyond. Massive shout out to coach Kimoi, his energy was on another level and he knew all of the kids names in a matter of minutes. I think we will be coming to lots more parties here!!!

Amazing party for my son’s 9th bday on bank holiday Monday, Jay was an amazing host and the kids loved him! So well organised! Recommend Romford Powerleague

Based on the fact my child did have an amazing time mainly down to the coach, she was amazing hopefully all the money goes to her because apart from that it was pretty basic I wasn't told until after the booking that the main building had been flooded and that we would be in little cabins and I also felt like the advertisement for the silver party was a little deceiving it says sweet treats ( plural ) smoothies and milkshakes. Well the boys got one chocolate bar and a chocolate milkshake no alternative flavours or smoothies. Birthday boy hates chocolate so that was a bit disappointing if I'd of known I would of 100% brought my own sweet bag/ party bags

60th party Zoya went above and beyond for it with helping out and clearing up. Recommend a party here.

My 6 year old son had the best party at powerleague romford, their coach Sam did an amazing job keeping all 16 of the kids entertained. They all said they had the best day ever! Thanks Sam

We recently chose Powerleague Sunbury to host our daughter's ninth birthday party on Sunday, 2nd February. While the children ultimately enjoyed themselves, the overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of organisation and communication.

The booking process was confusing from the outset. After pre-booking online, we received a message stating that someone would be in touch to confirm numbers and dietary requirements. However, by the Thursday before the party, we had not heard anything. When I called to check what the next steps were, I was told that they do not generally follow up with a call. This was unexpected, particularly as we had additional guests and dietary needs to confirm. Despite feeling a little uncertain, I confirmed the numbers and was advised to arrive fifteen minutes before the booking.

On the day, we arrived in good time and checked in at reception, where we were handed a ball and told to go to Pitch 1. However, when we got there, we found that a training session was already taking place. We reported this to reception, but despite some conversation, the group continued using the pitch. Unsure of what to do next, we went inside to the party room but received no guidance on what would happen next. As guests arrived and ten o’clock approached, we returned to the pitch only to find another group using it. By this point, we were becoming frustrated. I had to speak to one of the coaches myself to vacate the pitch, which should not have been my responsibility.

When the assigned coach eventually arrived, he was wearing what appeared to be Ugg boots, which did not give the most professional impression. The children took part in some warm-up games followed by small-sided matches. During one of the larger aided games, we noticed that a ball bag had been left along the sideline. This created a clear trip hazard, with children running at full speed up and down the pitch. I would have expected the coach to move it behind the goal as a precaution, but he seemed completely unaware of the risk.

Another concern was the lack of supervision around the pitches. While watching the children play, we had to remain alert as multiple stray balls from other teams frequently came flying towards us. There appeared to be no staff overseeing this, making spectating quite an uncomfortable experience.

As the session progressed, there was no clear communication on what was happening next. When the children came inside at one stage, we were unsure whether they were having a break or if it was time for food. It felt as though we were expected to know what to do, despite receiving no guidance from the staff. Eventually, the children returned to play more matches before coming back inside for food and drinks for the final half-hour.

Although the team members were friendly and the children had fun, the lack of structure, communication, and professionalism was disappointing. For three hundred pounds, we expected a far more organised and seamless experience. We spent too much time trying to find out what was happening and dealing with issues that should have been handled by the staff.

Perhaps this level of service is standard for Powerleague venues, but it did not meet our expectations. A more proactive approach, better communication, improved pitch management, and greater attention to safety would have made a significant difference. Based on our experience, we would be unlikely to book again unless clear improvements were made.

Really happy with power league. I had my son’s 12th birthday party there and it was a great venue. The kids loved it. Staff were friendly. Lovely pizzas! Looking forward to coming back. Big thanks to coach Jay and to Anneka. Thanks for your hard work and looking after the boys.

I had a bad experience. I celebrated my son birthday party there. They forgot about the cake that I had ordered and when I ask them for the cake they brought two very small sponge cakes from Tesco for 12 kids. They brought it 10 min before the end of the party and were very rude. They served 2 small pizzas for 12kids. I dont recommend this place. I will not go there again

Fab party! Our daughter attended a football birthday party with coach Kimoi Riley - he was a natural teacher and his energy and passion infectious! Could not recommend Coach K more highly!

Amazing birthday for our boys ( James ) 9 th birthday party - Ewan our couch was fantastic & all the kids loved there day - amazing set up ( chose the gold birthday package) collecting there medals receiving there boot bag& water bottle & football cards all added to a fantastic experience for all the kids - thanks Ewan for making there day a very memorable one - highly recommend this as a birthday venue - thanks James

Had my sons 11th birthday party here and him and his friends loved it! Staff were brilliant and friendly and their coach Michael was great really kept them engaged!

Dont go romford powerleague, they won’t let you on for pay and play and proceed to let other people play until half past 5 even thought it explicitly says it ends at 5pm, absolute piss take, staff are rude and i don’t recommend coming here if you want a good time

Never going here again.
I went in asked if there was anything pitches free and they said yes there is a pitch free n then i payed a tenner for me and my mate to play for a hour. Then ten minutes into playing football they come on the pitch and say we have to get off now because there is a training session on then pitch. So i go into the booking place and say is there anymore pitches free because i still had 50 minutes left and they said no because there is training on so i asked for a refund and they said we cant give a refund even tho i payed to play for a hour n only got ten minutes. What’s annoyed me the most is that they knew that there was training on and they still charged me to play when they knew we had to get off 10 minutes after.

We recently had a wonderful kids birthday party here and actually are returning from last year because it ticked all our boxes.
All the kids had a great day great value for money, food was great, the football cards were a nice touch in the boot bags.
All the staff were super friendly esp the kids coach and Tommo highly recommend one of the main reasons we keep coming back

Refs are always late. Games are cut short. Half times are completely cut out. We've been moaned at for having 4 subs (Even though we were told we can have 4 if there's a disability in the team) to play a team who had 6 on the bench. This list could honestly go on!
