As we planned for our retirement move to Portugal the inevitable question of how to find a good home in a good area was a concern. When we were offered the opportunity to use Goldcrest as our agent through Global Citizen Solutions we jumped at the chance. Little did we know that it would turn out to be the very best thing we did planning our move.
Our agent. Eunice Calheiros was not only an exceptional advocate for us, but she was a brilliant negotiator through some difficult times. She was also incredibly supportive, kind, and patient. We found our forever home and not a day goes by where we don't appreciate her hard work making that happen.
I cannot recommend Goldcrest highly enough. You will be delighted with the service and impressed by the affordability of that service.

My household worked with Graziella remotely while in the US and she and the rest of her team were a dream! She worked with our many specifications, and had infinite patience with us going through the numerous listings she sent us. Eventually she found us a PERFECT apartment, within our budget, in Porto. Another team member she recommended got our utilities handled so we were all set to move in when we arrived!

Goldcrest was great helping us to select an apartment while we were still in the US. Eunice and Barbara kept in contact and gave us all of the information we needed to feel confident in our choice. Timing was definitely an issue and they made sure we had a rental agreement approved by the tax authority in hand by the time we had our VFS appointment.

Professional service. Friendly staff. Francisco Marques (property management) is particularly responsive and attentive. They also have good connections with regards to legal services or other important services. This is especially helpful for non-Portuguese residents. Earlier on in my engagement with them, a little bit of staff turnover led to an important gap in services. This is the reason why I have not given a 5 star rating. But to their credit, they redressed the situation in a professional way.
