Petra & Israel 18 Day Tour, May 2018
Pilgrim Tours arranged a complex tour that was 3 tours in 1. Petra/Jordan, standard Israel, and 3-day supplemental Israel. This was our 3rd tour of Israel. As usual, Pilgrim provided curbside service throughout the 18 days. Accomodations were 1st rate, the days were full, but never felt rushed, and the food was predictably excellent. The main Israel guide, Olga, a Russian Jewish Christian, was the best my wife and I had ever experienced. We'd go back again just to have her leading. The supplemental, final 3-day tour with Ronnie was just O.K. He was not as informative as other guides we've enjoyed with Pilgrim.
We were scheduled to take the Churches of Revelation and Passion Play in 2020 with Pilgrim Tours, but it was postponed until next year. So we're counting the days all over again :-( (sigh)
One other tour of note with Pilgrim was the Reformation Tour in 2017. It was outstanding in every way. Various pastors on the tour led devotions each morning on the bus as we travelled to the day's 1st destination. The highlight was staying overnight in Wittenberg and then walking through the Wittenberg Church door on the 500th anniversary of Luther's posting of the 95 theses. It's simply thrilling to review our pictures. Pilgrim does it best!

My husband and I went on a Pilgrim Tours trip to Israel. Pilgrim was top notch from making the reservations until we arrived home. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered every question for all of us. We experienced and saw more than we ever expected. The price of our tour was so much less than all the others we had checked out. All-in-all it was an amazing experience that was so interesting and life changing. We are saving to go again and we will definitely be booking with Pilgrim Tours!

We were welcomed by representatives of Pilgrim Tours at Ben Gurion Airport, led through Security, and introduced to our Tour Guide Hela Tamir. Lovely drive through Tel Aviv to Natanya on Mediterranean Sea. Our tour Guide Hela Tamir was delightful in every way. She was with us every waking moment. All surprises were welcomed; no glitches or unpleasantness occurred. Hela was concerned for our safety, heath, well being and total satisfaction. She responded to individual needs of the each person. For example, physical abilities were allowed for in various venues. Emergency medical needs of two of the participants were handled professionally. Hela was knowledgeable of: history, site importance, Biblical significance, economics, geography, relevance to present, and I could go on. Hela is a spell-binding story teller who can take you back to any place or time in Israel's history. But you get the idea. Hela knew 40 times as much as there was time to tell it. All accommodations met or exceeded our expectations and were as advertised. Food was delicious, abundant, colorful, local and International. Our itinerary was accurate and exceeded our expectations. I would be in Israel right now touring with Pilgrim and Hela except for Covid 19 restrictions. My 88 years of age would not deter me.

I absolutely LOVED the Best of Israel tour! My trip was a group experience with my church. Pilgrim Tours provided detailed information for preparing for the trip even down to the weather, luggage size, and electrical converters. Our group did experience difficulties with the airlines, who for part of our group, our luggage did not transfer at the NY layover. We had to go to the baggage claim and re-check our bags both on departing and returning from Israel. The other difficulty was we were split into two groups, one of which had both layovers (leaving and returning in NY) being exceptionally lengthy (9 and 10 hours long)! The other group not so much. I am not sure if this was a Pilgrim Tour oversight or due to the limitations of the airline.

The tour itself in Israel was exceptional! Our Guide absolutely made the trip! He was incredibly informational, relayed many spiritual aspects, and pointed out the implications of this special place. Even more, he and our exceptionally skilled driver, were appropriately personal and professional. We even had to be rerouted due to weather conditions. We also had a "bobble" with the substitute guide required for one of our stops, which caused our schedule to be adjusted. These were well managed, at least to us!

The accommodations were gracious and the meal arrangements were well taken care of. I was so excited to have olives for breakfast every morning! As a group, we were well taken care of and I can hardly wait to return. Thank you, Pilgrim Tours for the tour of a lifetime!

My trip to Greece & Israel was memorable and moving to walk where Jesus walked. It was a bit rushed though I understand you want to fit in as many sites as possible. Would have liked a little more time at some stops.

My husband and I traveled to Egypt, Jordan and Israel with Pilgrim Tours in Nov.-Dec. 2019. It was a wonderful, safe and comfortable experience from beginning to end. Pre-trip support was thorough and very helpful from cultural information to reading list for. Inquiries were answered promptly. Travel arrangements were flawless. We were even met at the airport in Egypt and ushered through customs by a Pilgrim representative. The tours were fascinating and life changing with leaders who were exceptional both in their knowledge and their love for their countries and history. We felt we saw a genuine slice of life in each country, but were also safe. I would highly recommend Pilgrim Tours and will travel with them again as soon as possible!

I went on the Best of Israel 10 day tour in 2019. The service was great. Everything was done perfectly. Once we landed in Israel, everything went like clockwork. The transfers to hotels, entry to sites and meals were wonderful. I came back from this outstanding tour so excited that people from my church wanted to go. I organized a group of forty to go in March 2020 but that was cancelled because of the pandemic. I am putting another tour together for 2022 to go back to Israel. Pilgrim Tours is working with me and I would not use anyone else to take care of my group. The help that I received when booking my initial tour as well as the work done in putting together my planned group tour was above anything I ever expected. Now the help I am getting in organizing another tour is also outstanding. The people at Pilgrim Tours know what they are doing.

In 2018, I took the 10 day tour to Israel with Pilgrim Tours. I chose this tour company because it was the only one that fit into my Spring Break at school. In addition, the price was fair. They allowed me to buy my own airfare and meet at the starting point. I wasn't sure what to expect as I prefer to tour on my own. All I can say is, "WOW"! Our tour guide was excellent. I LOVED meeting new friends and the fact that this was a tour of Believers was awesome. Most Israel tour groups seem to go with their churches, so they know people. My husband and I didn't know anyone, but that was never an issue. The tour was smooth and well run. The hotels were super nice. The view from our room on the Sea of Galilee was especially amazing. I highly recommend Pilgrim Tours and would definitely travel with them again!

Wonderful tour schedule in Turkey and Greece as we visited the cities mentioned in the Gospels and Revelation. Tour guides were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area we traveled in. Still friends with them. All details were seen too and no problems. Would gladly use Pilgrim again.

A friend and I went to Israel about 3 years ago. I think it was the 10 Day Best of Israel Tour. I have never been to Israel before that trip. We both had a great time. We saw lots of places mentioned in The Bible along with historic places not mentioned in the Bible. I can not recall a lot of detail because of it being a few years ago. (3 years ago I think). Everything was scheduled and arranged by Pilgrim Tours. All I had to do was renew my passport, pay the $$ and show up when and where I was told. Every thing was well organized. Good communication. October was a perfect time to go. It was a bit hotter than usual, but was not humid. The lodging was satisfactory and the meals were excellent. We had a Christian tour guide who was very knowledgeable. We were given some sort of audio device that made it so we could all hear what he was saying without difficulty. The days were busy. I feel we saw as much as we possibly could on this trip. We were on a bus with the same 35 people every day.

I joined Pilgrim Tours for a tour in 2018. They did a great job organizing the trip and educating participants. I was blessed by the experience.

I have been on 8 Pilgrim tours to 6 countries. 5 of those tours were to Israel, the latest being the Best of, 10 day tour in January of 2020. All of my trips with Pilgrim have been of outstanding quality. The guides are always professional and knowledgeable, the itinerary well-thought, and the pace of schedule very manageable. I have very little concern about how a trip is going to go when I'm with Pilgrim.

My most recent Israel tour was my first leading a private tour. Pilgrim made it a wonderful event. What I like most about Pilgrim, is the willingness of the front staff to accommodate needs and work with a group's requests. My impression is that they are a big business, with a small business feel.

My husband and I travelled on the Best of Jordan/Israel tour in May of 2019. Despite a snowstorm that set us back 1 day , Pilgrim tours made sure we didn't miss Petra ! We wanted a Christian tour and that is what we got. Our lovely Jordanian guide was so knowledgeable, experienced and great to travel with on air conditioned buses ! The food was wonderful, weather great and the border crossing into Israel was smooth thanks to Pilgrim Tours . The hotels were very nice , food excellent, and we loved staying at the kibbutz resort on the Sea of Galillee. One guide went out of her way to fix a problem for us. The Whisper devices made it easy to hear everything our guide had to say and stay with the group. Our group was larger than most but Avi kept us herded and happy ! Water was plentiful to keep us hydrated and bathroom stops were regular. Halellujah ! It would have been nice to have time to swim in all those nice hotel pools. Swimming in the Dead Sea was fabulous. We would love to go back and spend more time at Masada, Caesaria Phillipi, and the Holocaust museum. We would travel again with Pilgrim Tours and take a different tour next time . Take your trip of a lifetime !

The 10 day Israel Tour was absolutely fabulous. Our itinerary was wonderful, balanced and timed well. Our tour guide was great, providing educational Biblical and historical perspective at each stop. It was also refreshing to tour with fellow Christians from different parts of the world. Lodging and food were also excellent. I look forward to my next Pilgrim tour.

We had a very nice experience with Pilgrim Tours. They are detailed in their planning and want everyone to have a good time. We had a very good guide who was very knowledgeable and fun. Overall, a great trip to England, Ireland and Scotland.

Traveled to Israel in 2017. My tour was very well organized! Great hotels and we loved our tour guide and driver! Looking forward to one day returning and will definitely book with pilgrim!

Our Egyptian guide was amazing. We were very fortunate to have the best. We were impressed with his knowledge. The entire trip was well organized. The bus drivers were very professional and took excellent care of us. All of the accommodations were very nice. The most amazing part of the trip was Israel. Trip of a life time. I highly recommend Pilgrims tours.

One of the best experience I had!

Our tour of Israel was thoughtfully planned, well-executed, and fulfilled a lifelong desire to get to know Bible-lands in a deeply meaningful way. Our guide, Catherine, was a major part of the satisfaction due to her extensive knowledge of scripture and current events. Highlights include Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, Jerusalem and the old city, Masada, and the Temple Mount. We really enjoyed accommodations at modest cost, special meals, even shopping! A very special trip of a unique place in human history!

Pilgrim has taken me on three tours and they were all excellent. The guides, the hotels, the food, the company...we enjoyed it all. We went to Israel/Jordan, Ireland, and Turkey/Greece. All trips were comfortable and safe and I would recommend Pilgrim to anyone!
