PickMe doesn't care about complaints and concerns passengers raise to them about unruly drivers.
Since they don't own the vehicles or have any work agreements with the drivers, we understand there is a limit they can control the drivers.
However, when a passenger makes a complaint, they should give some seriousness since we as passenger customers of PickMe, we book our trips with PickMe not with individual drivers.

Customer Service Complaint – Driver Conduct
My name is Asanga Buwaneka Divulwewa, a resident of Dehiwala, Sri Lanka. I wish to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had with one of your drivers, Mr. Nimal, who operates vehicle number YW 4692.
I am a person who has been confined to a wheelchair from infancy. On 12th March, I booked a PickMe ride in order to travel to several locations to attend to some personal errands. My first stop was Seylan Bank. During this time, the driver repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction and created unnecessary pressure by stating that he had another booking and urging me to hurry.
Afterwards, I proceeded to Commercial Bank, where the driver continued to demonstrate the same impatient and unprofessional behaviour. From the very beginning of the journey, he appeared frustrated and made several remarks that created a very uncomfortable situation for me as a customer.
As a company that plays a significant role in Sri Lanka’s transportation network, I believe PickMe has a responsibility to ensure that its drivers maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer care. Unfortunately, the conduct displayed by this driver fell well below the level of service that passengers should reasonably expect. Incidents such as this not only inconvenience customers but can also negatively affect the reputation of the service.
I respectfully request that this matter be looked into and that appropriate action be taken to address the driver’s conduct in order to prevent similar experiences for other passengers in the future.
I trust that this concern will be treated with the seriousness it deserves and that the necessary steps will be taken to uphold the quality and reliability of your service.

Don’t bother pre booking
Don’t bother pre booking. It only searches for drivers 15 min before your booking time. Then ,invariably, it can’t find a driver (in our case it was early morning). Different from other ride apps.

Our Driver Ruwan Kumara picked us up from Kandy to Dumbula asked. And took money from us for petrol and didnt deduct from total, I trusted him a gave him a tip.
After the trip and booking into accomodation I then realised his dishonesty. Shame really, he knew what he did. I wish Karma on him.

Would never use them as they are totally unreliable but also today one of my guests used them and the pickme driver damaged a wall at my house. They cant even drive!!

No solution, no follow-up, only repeated lies and continuous deductions. Very disappointing and untrustworthy service.

A miserable institution that has undisciplined drivers and takes no action on their behalf, wasting not only time and money but also mental happiness.
Another tourist scammed
Driver overcharged me by double. Pickme were presented resented with evidence and after one months said they would credit my account. Customer support is non-existent. After over two months I still received no credit. They are aware of this and decided not to reply further to my emails. Untrustworthy company that scam customers. Try Uber who at least are accountable.

Don’t use card payment! They scam you! Charges you way higher than the estimated and the customer service is useless! Do not sort out the issues. Their is no way for you to contact anyone apart from calling the head office number. Very poor app no chat service to help customers.
Also, beware if using card as only the driver can end journey even though you reached your destination.

J'ai voulu essayer un relais voisin proche de mon domicile...malheureusement mon colis a été déposé chez un autre beaucoup plus loin Motif le relais voisin choisi n'était pas disponible. J'ai donc été retiré mon colis à l'adresse transmise. Et j'ai reçu un lien pour soutenir cette personne d'un montant minimum de 3€ et demande d'enregistrer ma carte bancaire pour paiement. De pire en pire les frais de livraison ont été payé en aucun cas je vais ajouter un supplément pour mon colis. Mieux vaut choisir un point relais commerçant avec horaire fixe ( relais voisin il faut appeler la personne pour prendre rdv afin de retirer notre colis pas toujours évident)ce que je fesait habituellement.Dommage essai non concluant.

Alors attention mes chers amis ami(es) pour la première fois j'ai voulu essayer point relais voisin que cela je trouve très bien quand on travaille toute la journée mais de là à trouver des cafard ou des punaise de lit ?? sur le colis et dans le colis le Point Relais Hakim voisin son appartement est infesté de cafard ou de punaise de lit ?? donc attention pour les prochaines livraisons. Moi en tout cas c'est la première et la dernière fois que je commande dans un point relais chez les voisins parce que se personnage là, manque vraiment d'hygiène avec son chien à l'intérieur. J'espère que mon commentaire vous évitera certains désagréments merci à vous.

As a regular user of both PickMe and Uber in Sri Lanka, I’ve noticed a significant difference in the transparency and consistency of fare pricing between the two platforms. Uber has consistently provided a reliable and transparent experience, where the fare displayed at the start of the ride is accurate and unchanged even upon arrival. This makes it easy to trust the platform and plan accordingly.
However, my experience with PickMe has been less reliable. While the fare shown at the beginning of the booking is generally lower, I’ve frequently found that the final fare is much higher than expected, often leading to frustration and a sense of being misled. This lack of fare consistency and transparency is a major drawback and makes PickMe less trustworthy for riders who value predictability in pricing.
Overall, I would recommend Uber for anyone looking for a more consistent and transparent pricing experience. Until PickMe addresses these issues, I find it difficult to fully rely on their service.

. I’ve already called, emailed, and lodged complaints through the app—none of it made any real difference. The responses were generic and dismissive, with no urgency or genuine concern. I gave it another try after six months, and the issues remain the same—persistent and unaddressed.
1. If you book using a debit or credit card, most drivers either cancel immediately or call to ask if you’ll pay cash. If you say card, they bail. Some say they’re on the way, then cancel later. It’s a frustrating mess. You’re better off using Uber from the airport and during your stay in Sri Lanka.
2. Many cars don’t have seatbelts, or they’re broken and unusable.
3. The tuk-tuks (three-wheelers) are even worse—loose seats that fall off, and virtually none have seatbelts. Out of thousands I’ve used, I’ve only seen one with seatbelts. In an accident, you're flying off the seat with nothing to hold you in place. It’s incredibly unsafe, and the company shows zero concern for basic safety standards.
4. Cancellations are rampant. Drivers accept bookings only to cancel them without reason. If the company actually cared, they’d review the trip logs and penalize repeat offenders—but they don’t.
5. Especially with airport pickups, drivers push for cash payments. According to them, the company charges LKR 700 for those trips, which they try to avoid by canceling card bookings.
It’s chaotic and unregulated—feels like the wild west.

Très mécontente de cette livraison. Le point relais que j'avais choisi n'avait plus de place dans ses casiers. Mon colis a été envoyé chez un particulier, son domicile a été très difficile à trouver et pas de nom sur le parlophone que des numéros. J'ai essayé de contacter à plusieurs reprises de contacter sur son portable la personne qui détenait mon colis, impossible de la joindre, je tombais à chaque fois automatiquement sur un message vocal "je ne suis pas disponible actuellement". Finalement au bout de 3/4 d'heure d'attente,en plein soleil,je vois arriver cette personne qui était partie récupérer son fils à l'école. Autant vous dire que je n'étais pas la seule personne à l'attendre, nous étions 3 à attendre nos colis et nous étions très mécontents. Arreter d'envoyer systématiquement chez un particulier nos colis lorsque cela ne vous a pas été demandé.
