What a marketing brand disaster! Our family has used PG Tips for years and turned away to other brands. The great British cup of tea - wake up to a great brew, the backbone of what us Brits do. Tea looks like dust not leaves. So sad.

I have finally finished my stock of pyramid tea bags and my first cup of square. PG. it’s awful. I drink weak black tea. This tea tastes nothing like tea. I take it they have changed the blend. ( I can’t see the shape of the bag making that much difference). Glad I only bought a small box. These will be going in the bin. Now for the search for something taste more like the original PG. What were you thinking!

I am picky about my tea ! I like the taste of PG tips and wouldn’t buy any other tea. However I have obviously either gotten a bad box or they have changed the bags. I have recently found red bits at the bottom of my cup- not a burst bag , not a biscuit as I don’t eat biscuits. Red bits of something that turn my stomach! It isn’t in every cup but it’s happening a lot - the odd one floats at the top they cling to my spoon but mainly they are at the bottom of my cup . Reddy brown things ! I rang up customer service as I wanted to send them a picture of this as I really didn’t want to change my tea brand. I spoke to a man whom took my details and said they would send me an email on which I would find the details to send my photo of the tea . No email arrived! The man tried to say it was loose tea in my cup and I couldn’t get him to understand it dam well is not loose tea , whatever it is I hate it and won’t be buying PG tips again. Lipton tea could do better- all I want to do is send them a picture of this thing in my tea - the address I found online will not accept my mail. Why have they made customer care so difficult?

The tea bags have become builders strength tea but actually don't taste like tea. Some people like weak tea but however much milk is used, it is still builders looking tea. However it has taken me to buying another tea bag maker to get the most important thing back and that is the TASTE.

Absolutely disgusting tea what's hapito pg tips tea bags just vile no taste had to use two bags to make one semi strong cup of tea

The new tea bags are just awful. Taste is so horrible I thought it was a supermarket "basics" brand. I emailed them to let them know and just received a generic response saying how they are "constantly improving" their product. They are simply not listening to their customers. After many, many years of drinking PG Tips tea, I've switched brands now and will not be going back.

I thought it was me or the tea had gone off ? Tried different length of brew times, water temp, new milk, mug sizes etc but still disgusting. Very tannic on the palate, tea so fine it's more like a dust. PR spin from Unilever about 'less tea - more room to brew in bag' - this is obviously a cost saving exercise gone wrong. Has moved me back to using loose tea in a small pot and now a perfect cup.

Like everyone else , I have had to change my brand of teabags. I don't care about the shape however I do care about the taste. I notice you haven't claimed this profile so maybe you aren't willing to listen to your customers.

You change a perfectly good teabag, back to the square teabag, which no one brought, becouse they are no good.. the tea, taste weak, and not a very nice cuppa, so disappointed, ive been drinking pgtips for over 30years, and have now changed brands. Seems like your looseing, alot of customers, maybe rethink about the pyramid teabags!!

Why change something that was a great cup of tea that I have drunk for years I never had a problem with the pyramid bag these new square ones are useless, they come joined together as 2, which then split when you try to tear them apart, put the price up to make it worse. you need to Sack the nit wit tat you employed that came up with this. this is a copy of the last review but it is exactley my thoughts word for word. disgraceful product and massively overpriced costs. youve failed PG tips, youve failed your customers.

I have just tried the new PG tips awful tea.
Will no longer buy this product.

Lack of flavour, fragile bags recently. This was our regular brew. What's happened .

I now drink ALDI GOLD blend tastes good and nice round bags that are a better quality shame on PG

Wow what happened to these t-bags.
Awful.
The pyramid bags used to be amazing,since the change you get less for your money and the bags themselves are terrible.
Always splitting, boxes with bags that aren't even perforated half the time.
All that money they spent on making these perfect bags,what a load of rubbish.
More than likely will go back to Tetley now until they get their act together.

When I opened a box of 210 PG tips a huge percentage of the bags no longer contained tea which was all loose in the box. What a mess! And waste of money.
I have used PG for years as it suits our water but increasingly I have found the bags not fit for purpose and some have broken in the pot but not on this scale
What happened to quality control!

I only drink pg tips and my morning cup is vital lol tea bags arnt the cheapest thing to buy, so I'm getting a little ticked off that these new ones keep splitting or have wholes in them before I've even got them out the box. Please sort this out or I will be forced to change brands! 🤣

What have you done to out PG tips Tea the square bags keep coming apart at the edges the tea is awful. I've been drinking PG for 30+ years and I'm afraid I'm changing to another brand thanks very much for letting your customers down.

I always buy the large box of tea bags, but the new box and the one before. The bags were split, not very good , they're not cheap, why is this happening so often. No more will I buy them. Will now give another brand, after years of p.g. tips.

Awful taste with the new non-pyramid bags. Tossing the whole lot. Fix it please.

Nothing wrong with the old ones . The new taste is horrible.
