What I like is the vet handles all the paperture work.

Pays claims quickly. The only negative is the yearly shots are to pay up to $125 per year. It is not disclosed that each item has an allowable so when the claim is processed, the amount billed by vet is not reimbursed up to $125 as per the policy states.

Having pet insurance is like having health insurance. When you know that their medical bills are covered you only have to worry about them and how quickly they will get well.

My dog Liberty has had leg surgery on front right leg before age one and is now being treated for a torn CCL with Prolo therapy. She's also gone in fir poisoning (Laurel Berries). PetFirst has always covered her treatments and medications. I don't know what I'd do without them.

Always have the best turnaround time with my claims and customer service is always great!

I am so happy I got pet insurance, I really never thought I would have the health problems I have with both of my dogs...PetFirst has been great...they have never refused a claim, of which there have been many in the past few months for both of my dogs, I would recommend them to anyone that has pets, it does pay to insure with PetsFirst.

Purchasing a policy through PetFirst was a great investment.
Our one year old pup needed knee surgery and physical therapy. Our policy covered it. The claim process is seamless and PetFirst's customer service team is amazing. I would highly recommend this company for your pet's health insurance needs.

They charge a deductible for each claim submitted instead of a one time yearly deductible like most insurances. Not everything is included. I found a pet insurance that covers well, sick, and prevention also microchipping. 97% reminbursement after deductible is met. Mine was met in 2 visits. I wouldn't recommend petfirst. I only had them because I adopted a dog from a rescue and she came with 30 day pet insurance.

Petfirst has been silently backing me up for years. Any time I've had a claim they have taken care of me with expediency. Their customer service has been stellar, and their website and claims process is easy to navigate.

Having PetFirst Pet Insurance has saved the lives of our 3 cats more than once. I didn't expect to use our pet insurance because our cats don't go outside but despite keeping them safely indoors, all of our cats had experienced serious health issues. Thanks to having PetFirst insurance, I've been able to get them treatment and they all made a full recovery. Because of periods of unemployment and disability, I would not have been able to afford medical care for my cats without this insurance. I would have had to put down one of our cats when she had pancreatitis if it were not for PetFirst Insurance. Instead I was able to hospitalize her and she went on to make a full recovery. She is alive and well 3 years later. Also, all I have to do is mail or e-mail the vet receipt and veterinary records and PetFirst sends me a check 2 or 3 weeks later. I only wish it were as easy dealing with human health insurance companies. I've spent countless hours fighting human health insurance companies trying to get them to cover what they are supposed to cover. I recommend PetFirst Pet Insurance to everyone I talk to and offer it on our company website.

I had another insurance company before PetFirst, but they really didn't provide good personal service. At PetFirst, they genuinely care about my pet. They were there for me when I lost my Maltese, Mia, and they are standing by me as my other pets age. I really love and trust this company.

Although I would like to make a suggestion: It would nice if you can cover partial of the Wellness check up yearly exam. Something to consider. 😀💕🐕💞😁

We have had your coverage for a few years. When big events occur you should cover more than you do. On the routine basic policy you should cover all the vaccines that the animals have to have every year and should cover more on pre-existing and genetic conditions we have no control over...considering their are thousands of rescue animals adopted by folks who want a pet and give these pets a loving home deserve special consideration for many of the conditions they already have. I myself have 4 rescue dachys I love so much and 2 I already had. Please consider making changes to all your policy's so when folks like me who have multiple animals can more easily afford coverage. Thank you.

When our rescue dog had vet visits that were out of the ordinary, PetFirst
covered the costs, less the deductible.

I recently submitted a claim to treat my dog for Lyme disease and was denied stating it was preventable. Clearly it is not considering I treat my dog year round for tick prevention with Frontline and a Seresto collar. I am currently looking to change companies. This is regrettable but I hear there are pet insurance companies that do cover tick born diseases.
