Excellent Service from Start to Finish!

I had a fantastic experience with Taxi Company. The driver arrived right on time, the car was spotless, and the journey was smooth and comfortable. The driver was friendly, polite, and knew the best routes to avoid traffic. Booking was quick and easy, and the price was very reasonable too.

Terrible 'service' (if you can call it that)

I booked a car for 00:50. They booked it incorrectly for 01:20 so I corrected then and they confirmed and sent me confirmation of the correct collection time.

I was told driver details would be sent an hour before. They weren't. I was told the flight would be tracked. It wasn't as we landed early and when I finally managed to get driver details after two phone calls and many WhatsApp's standing at arrivals, I called the driver and they had given him the incorrect collection time of 01:20.

When I messaged them and told them they tried to tell me that u had given them that time despite my original confirmation email saying 00:50 and their updated confirmation on WhatsApp also saying 00:50.

Then they tried to further blame me saying that the driver was already allocated at the later time so couldn't be changed.

We finally left the airport at 01:30 (an hour after we went through arrivals).

Not the drivers fault at all. He was very good and he got us home quickly so he gets five stars but I will never use a company that can't accept responsibility for an error and puts it back on me when I have evidence in writing that the time I booked was correct.

Avoid this company like the plague unless you want to add an hour to an already long journey.

Booking Pelican was my worst nightmare.l Flew in from Ghana to London on the 23rd June, waiting for my driver to pick me up with my 3 kids and only to be told that he's left the airport. The driver left me and my 3 kids and went away after a long flight. I was stranded with no money on me, OMG. this is insane, l called thier customer service and thier English was very poor and bad you can't hear a thing. They aren't no cab drivers,they just take your money and pretend they sent a drivr please stay away from them because they don't refund too. They are just thieves. They rob you in the broadday. They are robbers, they are serious scammers. Don't be scammed by pelican cars.

I booked an exec transfer from LGW for my wife as she was coming back on a night flight, and I wanted her to have a comfortable journey home. Airport Taxi Transfers outsourced this to Pelican Cars who then outsourced to Britannia Airport Cars. The driver was not waiting for my wife. It took over an hour (!) for my wife to establish that they weren’t able to send a driver. There were various excuses about a car breaking down. Interaction was over WhatsApp and their responsiveness and English was VERY poor. My wife had to keep asking for updates and each time it took several minutes to get a response. In the end my wife had to get an Uber home costing more than the original booking, and in an old car that smelt. It was a dreadful experience.
