Ordered a ring. Have not seen a single person wearing one in my area. Also they are kind of thick and uncomfortable/bulky to wear. Asked for a return and no one will respond to me. Great idea horrible execution and customer service.

I purchased this ring in the spring of 2023. They came within a month but all were large for my fingers. I tried the meetup app they recommended and met no one due to the fact the organizers would tell you where to meet but, not when. I haven’t met anyone with this ring which eventually broke.
Pearling then suggested the Thursday app which is worse than meetup as scammers have only messaged me. If you don’t mind it being operational one day a week and scammer heavy, you will like it. If you don’t live in a major metropolitan area, you are the only one in the app with no place to go. I’m in Manitoba and the closest events are in Minneapolis.Different country! Long story short, world’s largest cash grab.

The only ones who even notice it are married women who like the colour. The events are a sausage party and really waste of time and money. Other than scammers, the profiles I believe are fake. Bought it last year, took for forever to get here. Wore it till just recently. Yeah a t-shirt saying I am single would work better.

The rings showed up just fine for me.

In the more than six months I’ve been wearing it though, two people have known what it is (neither of them being potential dates), and one person thought it was a wedding ring, even though I wear it on my middle finger.

Not once have I seen anyone else wearing one other than the friends I gave one to, and they’ve had the same experience with it that I have had. Sadly, I think it’s a failed experiment.

I never received the ring I ordered, and despite sending multiple emails, I still haven't received a refund. This feels like a complete scam.

The rings were a little long coming, but did get them. I've been wearing it for almost a year. Only a couple of people have even noticed it. The meeting event Thursday???, I went once in Ottawa to an event and it was a sausage party. Wasn't even one of the pickup bars in Ottawa. You can only see who has actually built a profile on Thursdays for a few hours. You're restricted to see profiles all over the place or within 30 km. Those are the only 2 choices. In Ottawa, I've seen prostitutes advertising on it. 100-150km would be more reasonable. Disappointing in the dating apps, disappointing in the response to this idea. Fix the Thursday app! Possibly better in Europe?

Never received the ring, had to register with a third party site to even track it. No response from customer service emails

Absolutely terrible experience overall. I did not recieve my rings after 4 times of them "attempting to ship me them" with my address being correct everytime. I have requested a refund to no awnser and am absolutely dis-heartend. Give me my damn money back! This has been going on for more than 6 months.

Ring size sent was on the small side. The largest lasted 2 1/2 months. Got ahold of customer service thru email and requested a replacement. Recueved a reply one was coming. NOTHING. Fly by night, shady. No customer service. Pass them by. Just practice saying Hi and starting a conversation, Pear ring or not.

I never received the rings , when I asked about them the company wanted me to pay more money to join again , I got the refund but I wouldn't advise anyone to join.

When I purchased the pear rings, the company was using Meetup to announce pear events. Soon after, the company switched to the Thursday app which has a 2.3 star rating and horrible reviews. I decided I did not want to download the Thursday app nor to participate in the pear program. Since I hadn't opened the bubble mailer the rings were mailed in to me, I contacted pear to request a refund which is required per the refund policy that accompanied the email I received confirming the original order. I received an email response advising me to download a refund request form and to return the rings for a full refund. I downloaded the form which includes instructions with a return mailing address in Dorset, BH/United Kingdom. The return address on the bubble mailer they were mailed in has a return address in Buford, GA/USA. I've emailed twice now asking if the rings could be returned to the Buford address but have not received a response.

Just to balance out some of the reviews on here, I did actually receive my rings a few days after ordering.
I can't vouch for how well they work for meeting people as I've only just received them.

Add me to the gullible list! I received the rings but have yet to see 1, ONE! Even after having worked 5 of the countries largest state fairs and the Houston Rodeo as well as a number day trips to Disney! No one in America other than my dumb ass is wearing them! Don’t waste your money.

Eventually my Pear Ring Arrived, I also had the presumed delivered but alas no ?! So I sent them an email asking where art thou pear ring? It arrived 2 days later 😊😁

THIS IS NOT A SCAM. I do the printing for the project and the people involved are lovely and NOT a scam. There has been some delivery issue but some people use a hotel or a friends place as an address and when the ring arrives, they have left.

Rings never delivered. No communication from company. Scam.

Guys, come on, placed my order more than 1.5 months ago. No signs of delivery. No track number in the Shopify app.

Don’t buy this thing. Total scam.

This company is a scam DO NOT BUY!!! I wish I had seen the reviews before purchasing a ring. I bought a ring in the beginning of July and it was supposed to be delivered by the end of the month yet nothing showed up. I contacted customer service and they gave me a 100% off code to buy another one in the beginning of August. It was supposed to be here by now and still no ring. Now I get no answer from customer service and I likely won’t get a refund. Don’t bother wasting your time money on this.

I really like the idea of Pear Ring, and I don't think that it is a scam - but I have been left frustrated and saddened by my experience with them.

Basically getting a rung out of them is like getting a delivery of hen's teeth. I don't think that it should be that difficult to get delivery done well in this day and age.

The first set of rings I ordered just never arrived. There was a tracking number, and then a local tracking number. The tracking application said that the rings were with a Royal Mail delivery centre: but after 5 weeks I still had nothing delivered, and the Royal Mail did not recognise either tracking number supplied. I tried enquiring with the dispatch agent a few times and they simply would not respond. Pear themselves said to hold tight, the rings were now in my country (I should have hoped so given that their dispatch centre is int the UK and I live in London).

Eventually, after a fee attempts, they apologised and gave me a code to get a free set of replacement rings. Three weeks later (now two months from ordering) no sign, and the tracking app says they've not reached the shipping center! Heaven's sake - put it in the postbox!!

I complained again, and then asked for my money back if they weren't capable of delivering a ring. No customer service response at all - but a few days later I got notice of then refunding me.

So not a scam - but utterly incompetent. As I say, a real pity as it is a good idea. I do feel quite sad and excluded from it all.

I can honestly say this is not a scam. My daughter ordered these rings 10 days ago. She received a order confirmation email within two minutes of ordering then 7 days later a despatch email then two days later they arrived through the post. Thankyou I would recommend.
