Most reviewer could not read !

The reviews all the same ... they read "PC-WORLD" and think, that just ONE firm called PC-WORLD all over the world are here existing ! If you could read ... the webadress, which is the basic of review, is pc-world.de
That's means, .de ist located in GERMANY !!! As well, in the Title is BIG "PC-WORLD Rödermark GERMANY" ... what could it means ??? If you are made a post, be sure, that you give it to the RIGHT firm !!!

Your store in England is NOT located in Germany with a .de domain ! So PLEASE, THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE SAMETHING BAD ! And put the right firm out of the list.

O Lord , please donate some brain to all these ....

Con Artist and Rubbish Service

I called the knowhow helpline number provided by currys and was greeted by a rude gentlemen who set quite a negative tone right from the start regarding the recent notification of my TV being written off.

When I tried to provide him with the reference number to my repair, he became like a robot and said I WANT YOUR POSTCODE i advised him it will be easier for him to locate my case with the reference number as i have done so previously, he became ignorant and just repeated him self.

After providing him with the postcode and my name he was unable to locate my agreement, which he did not mention initially and only became apparent later on in the conversation. (His name was Fez)

So I proceeded to tell him the reason of my call which was to do with valuation given for the TV as the value given by a previous agent would not sufficient in providing me with same specification TV as per the terms of the agreement. Cut a long story short, the guy was very reluctant to help, has left me with no TV for over a month, told me to go to a branch and speak to a store manager as no one here can increase the valuation!

I asked to speak with a manager to which he refused initially and after a long conversation he told me none were available and arranged a call back however, no call has materialised

When I told him his attitude was beyond me and that i would be reluctant to buy another TV from Currys with this experience he was quick to tell me go ahead and go with a competitor he didn't care as he wasn't a "sales man".

Please note, i went to a Currys store as per conversation with this incompetent agent with the voucher code provided and asked a member of staff to show me a TV with the same specification I had previously to which he replied there is none available for that voucher value. So I proceeded to speak to the manager and he advised that he cannot increase the value of the voucher and the only people who could do that is Knowhow and if a TV with a similar specification is needed then I had to pay the difference.

This has wasted my valuable time, My fuel cost, I'm left with out a TV and has given me nothing but stress! The value of my TV is £700.00 And im being short handed with just £500.00

bad service from knowhow and pcworld same company

i had a computer from the in about 8 months iMac pc i call them up telled that it did,t work was telled no warrtey and was telled i said i have paided them fully theay said no on my invoice saws that i have i has to find out were the warrtey number for them as they can,t do they job i got upset with and asked for a refund and i was refused said will take it to tradeing standerd they said go to them they own me £1.268.00 and pc world also did the same in highgate too i have sent a letter how to the office give them 14 days to refund me or i will take them to court

Care Plans Cancelled by PC World without my Knowledge

Pc World has cancelled two of my care plans that I had with them and this was done without my knowledge. In brief, I rang the KNOWHOW team to change my direct debit details to a different bank. I had two care plans for two laptops and I wanted one direct debit from one bank for one laptop and another direct debit from another bank for the other laptop. I have telephoned both banks who have confirmed I have not cancelled the direct debit and they are still both active. The first direct debit went out from both banks so I thought that everything was fine and both laptops were covered. Seemed not when I came up with a problem on my laptops. I have been told by the bank that the frequency of my direct debit had not been set up by PC World but because they didn’t take any further payments (which was their error) PC World then cancelled the care plans without sending any correspondence to let me know.PC World have offered a new agreement on one laptop but not the other which is not acceptable to me as it is their error in the first place.
I have sent them a letter to which I received a very short response, I replied with another letter on the 1st April 2016 and I have never received a reply back. The service I have received is totally unacceptable especially after it is down to the error of PC World not being able to set up a direct debit correctly.

PC World - Peterborough store UK

Had a really bad experience with PC world, went in with my sister because We wanted to help my elderly mother buy a laptop. We found a HP one we wanted at the price of £399, what we fought was reasonable, but then the salesman started getting pushy trying to sell us a recovery disk and 4 years anti virus, what put the price up by £150, we didn't want to spend that much, I said I wanted to buy it with a years anti virus and he just seemed to get agitated and walked off. I got someone another sales person and said can I just have this laptop, but they went to the desk and you could all see them nattering to themselves, the original sales person came back.. We said we just wanted the laptop on it's own. Then the sales person just said we haven't got any unstock and walked off again like we wasn't aloud to buy a laptop, usually you would give other options but it was clear he had an attitude because we didn't want the recovery disk and the anti virus. We remembered we get free anti virus with our broadband provider so we're not exactly gonna buy it again. So we all left the shop feeling a bit bullied to be fair. Anyway we went to John Lewis we got the same laptop 20 pounds cheaper, 2 years warranty, no pressure.. I never will use PC World again.
