Incorrect Fitment Information, Extra Costs and Poor Return Experience

I ordered a CV axle after checking the fitment information on PartsMojo’s website. The website indicated that the part was compatible with my vehicle, but the information was incorrect and I received the wrong part.
Because of this mistake, I had to pay my mechanic twice and eventually purchase the correct part from another supplier. This caused additional expenses, wasted time, and unnecessary stress.
What disappointed me the most was the return process. Although the company states on its website that customers should contact them for return assistance, I was not provided with a prepaid return label. Even though the mistake was not mine, I had to arrange and pay for the return shipping myself.
The refund was eventually issued, but only after multiple follow-ups from my side. Communication was slow, and I often felt that I had to push the process forward myself in order to receive updates.
I appreciate that the company eventually honored the refund. However, the inaccurate fitment information, extra mechanic costs, return shipping expenses, and slow communication made this a very disappointing experience.
My advice to future customers: Do not rely solely on the website’s compatibility information. Verify the part independently before placing an order.
