I recently fell in love on first sniff…
I recently fell in love on first sniff with a new fragrance in Parfumarija. I did not follow the shop's advice to walk around a bit outside to let the trial spray settle, and so made a hasty purchase. After I returned to my home town I discovered I didn't love it at all and next time I was in Dublin I stopped by the store to explain my dilemma. Luckily Marija herself was there that day and took me in hand. She spent considerable time with me establishing which family of scents I was most drawn to, and sent me outside to let the trial ones settle. Then she sent me home with generous samples of the couple we'd narrowed down to so I could live with them over a period of time. Needless to say, I was most impressed by Marija's breadth of knowledge and in particular her professional customer relations. I ended up a very satisfied shopper.
This gem of a bespoke shop is a rare find in this age, and I unreservedly recommend it, especially to those discriminating shoppers who know the value of experience as well as product.
