I’d like to say a huge thank you to my tutor, Lydia. I’ve now completed my course, and throughout it all she was incredibly supportive whenever I needed help. Communication was always excellent, and I truly appreciate all the guidance she gave me along the way.

Paragon Skills was also very easy to sign up with, making the whole process smooth from the very beginning.

Matt Gloves was my trainer had helped me out so much, that he gave me the confidence knowledge, for my level 2 and to give it my all I got good grade Thank you so much. I have recently completed my Level 3 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship. While I am proud to have finished with a distinction, the experience was challenging due to a lack of consistent support for much of the course.
My apprenticeship was expected to take one year but was significantly delayed because of issues outside of my control. At one stage, my tutor was changed without my knowledge, and for around six months I had no contact or access to support. During this time, modules were not uploaded to my portal, which meant I was unable to make any progress.
When contact was eventually re‑established, I did receive some support, but this was again disrupted due to staff absence and changes. The overall experience during this period felt disorganised and stressful.
However, everything changed when I was assigned Jolene Hornsby. She was outstanding from the very start—contacting me immediately, providing regular support, and breaking the work down clearly so it was easy to understand. With her help, I was able to complete the remainder of my apprenticeship in just three months.
I genuinely believe that without Jolene’s dedication and support, I would not have completed my apprenticeship, let alone achieved a distinction. She is a real credit to Paragon and made a huge difference to my experience.

I’ve just completed my Level 3 Adult Care Apprenticeship and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I absolutely loved the course and learned so much along the way, both professionally and personally.

I do sometimes struggle with non-practical learning, but I was really well supported to build my confidence and improve these skills. My learning was tailored to suit my individual style, which made a huge difference and helped me achieve the best possible outcome.

I just completed my level 2 in adult social care and would like to thank my trainer Matt Glaves. Matt was always there when needed and his advice and support was much appreciated.

I had the best experience with my trainer, Kate Underwood. She supported me throughout the programme, ranging from taking time to read, correct and direct my submissions to making herself available during busy schedule to attend my observations. She is wonderful, and I appreciate her. With her support, I am able to get a distinction. I am very grateful.

The workshops were also very helpful, giving me insights to properly navigate the modules.

Overall Paragon Skills is a wonderful platform to learn.

Studying with Paragon taught me a whole different method of learning. I have for years studied the conventional way, but have found this new method for me very refreshing. With the support of very experienced and knowledgeable tutor called Jolene Hornsby even the most difficult task was simplified. In a recent teams call with her she gave me the most encouraging feedback that I will remember for the rest of my life. I am very grateful for the opportunity my employer Lavender Oaks Care Home and Paragon has given me in the next step of my career.

Amazing support from the team. Judy Baxter was personal tutor, she goes above and beyond, from coming out to do my observations on nights, to being available for support throughout my entire journey. The workshops are very helpful and informative. They give you a chance to learn from different types of care settings. Heather is very friendly, she makes workshops so much enjoyable.

Nicky Creswick from Paragon Skills made my apprenticeship journey a very positive experience in many ways. She was always available when I needed extra support and thoroughly explained all tasks so I felt comfortable and knowledgeable to pursue them with ease. Nicky was very encouraging and her support was person centred to me which made my journey enjoyable and possible to complete.
