Arrived with only one earbud working, and they refused to refund me

I ordered a pair of headphones from Paraear, which turned out to be of inferior quality and not as described. The build felt cheap, and the packaging resembled a knock-off rather than a professional product.

When I asked to return the item, the company insisted I pay return postage and accept a 15% restocking fee—despite UK consumer law clearly stating that customers are entitled to a full refund, including return postage, if a product is misrepresented or not of satisfactory quality.

Communication was evasive and dismissive, and only after I threatened a chargeback and mentioned Trading Standards did they begin to take the issue seriously. I will still be reporting them.

Save yourself the hassle—go to Temu and get the exact same headphones for £10. I strongly recommend avoiding them altogether.

Fake review website taking you to Parear to sell you a cheap pair of £15 headphones. Sound quality like acceptable for a £15 pair but not when they charge you £110 and when you contact your bank the bombard you with emails offering you 15% to 50% if you drop the case . Payable after you drop the case which I'm sure they would have done so . In short this is an honest review and for the same money I wish I'd have bought some Sennheiser's . Which I now own

I just found the same unit for au$29 - I paid au$188. Stay away!

I recently bought some Paraear ear buds;
firstly, they don't tell you that they are drop shipped from China, so they take ages to be delivered. Then, they didn't work well - the person at the other end of the call couldn't hear me properly.
So I tried to return them, but they insisted that there was nothing wrong with the product, then offered me a 10% discount, then told me that if I wanted to return them, I would have to pay all the costs to send them back to China. I'm now trying to claim my money back through my credit card company.

I got these earbuds yesterday and I'm impressed! The quality's solid and the sound is excellent - better than I expected.

I received my headphones after looking through their website, style and design looked good, however when I opened the cheap packaging and picked up the headphones I was shocked, made of cheap plastic, then when I connected them to my Bluetooth device the quality of the audio was terrible, the bass frequencies were too loud and muddy which masked other elements in the stereo image, just awful quality all round, further more when I requested to return them they stopped responding, what does that tell you, please do NOT buy this brand, you won’t be happy!
Last update from them today 21st June telling me that to ship back to China I have to pay for all customs fees, the claim to be a UK trader, Paraear UK and was told shipping was from the UK, total nonsense, another scam company!

Product is not what is advertised. The sound quality is abysmal. I'd get better quality order a £9.99 pair of earbuds from Amazon. Please be aware that they constantly harass you by email if you question the quality of their product. I didn't know customer care included harassment and emotional abuse - but I do now. Thanks ParaEar, wish I'd never heard of your disgusting scam company and your underhand tactics. Hope Karma catches up with you.

As per the other reviews, this is a scam. I got sucked in by a 'review' - should have realised as the signs were there: the amateur website, and that the headphones are unbranded. They are NOT noise cancelling and not foldable (despite the website clearly stating they are). Have only used them for 5 minutes - the Bluetooth works and sound is produced but not noise cancelling. The company claimed that there is nothing wrong with them - yet offered 15% "compensation" ...

Like many of you, I fell for the fake website and ordered some wireless earbuds.When they eventually came the quality is very poor.Tried to get returns address proved impossible which worked in my favour. Contacted my bank and had the cost refunded in full.Hope this helps.Item came from Hong Kong by the way.

Very disappointing experience – would not recommend

I had a very bad experience with this company. I received a broken pair of headphones, and when I contacted customer service and even sent a video clearly showing the issue, they only offered me a 15% refund.

This is completely unacceptable for a defective product. There was no offer to replace the item or issue a full refund.

Poor service, no accountability – I will not be ordering from them again.

I received my headphones but they would constantly turn off during playback. I contacted the company to organise a refund but they make it virtually impossible for you to receive a refund and offer small amounts of money to fob you off.

You can get much better headphones for a lower price.

Don't fall for the scam like I did ☹️

I bought the ear buds but they never arrived. The tracking info is bogus. I fought there was ever a product. They tried to refund me 15% but I have contacted my credit card company and put in a dispute. I’ll eventually get my money back but don’t go through the issues. JUST DONT BUY THROUGH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE SCAMMERS. If you decide to, use PayPal as it’s a quicker dispute process.

Everyone should follow Gary 001 instructions! we need to be rid of paraear as they are a totally rubbish outfit out to scam everybody in this country and probably many others. They tried to offer me a 10% discount, then told me that there was nothing wrong with their products, even though the battery life was for barely 20 minutes, and the sound quality muffled. The best thing about this product is the box it came in, but that’s about it. The rest is a complete joke and a rip-off do not waste your money. Advise you pay for this item with a credit card. If you feel you need to buy these. Once you find out the truth. at least you can make a claim against them and have a better chance of getting your money back if you are patient.

I don’t know about the reviews but I absolutely love mine £100 stunning sound by the way I’ve tried the best B/o B/w etc 3 times price but these headphones are equal to them.

My bad experience with this company is just after I ordered them in December last year, I tried to cancel the order after 5 minutes, because of not receiving a response to my order, and that happen till the following day, and after a few emails back and forth, which I kept and even a screenshot of my attempt to cancel straight away on the website, anyway I put in a dispute with my credit card company, and once they found out that I did, they offered 5% refund and then 15% refund and finally 30% refund, and all that the emails, were from various spurposdasly different people that worked there, I was informed by my credit card company, that if I accept there 30% refund and cancel my dispute with them, then I couldn't open it again, so I just ignored there emails, and then let the dispute run its course, and I am pleased that I did, as I got a full refund, as they are just a scamming company in Chine, that has never given there correct address for returns and I had four different addresses from them to send them back, and if I had they would have been in limbo for evermore and the cost was £30 pounds for the pleasure of it, just start a dispute with yoru credit card or bank, and let the process run its course and you will more than likely get your money back if you follow the correct process, it took 4 months but well worth the wait, to get one back on them, avoid this and any company associated them like the plague.

Sadly, as with everyone else here I urge you not to buy from this company. The product is not worth the money and they make it almost impossible for you to return the goods as they are based in China even though they say .co.uk.
All they have to do is ensure you receive the goods and that’s it! You have no rights regarding the quality of the product and the amount of money you need to spend to return them. Just don’t bother buying from them!

Bought these about 2 months ago and the left ear bud has already stopped working.
Avoid. Buy elsewhere

I found a website that had these as a quality product, I should have checked better sources. Do not buy these, they are tacky, sound quality is dire, product is flimsy and buttons are crap. I wanted to return as they are awful, £109, settled for a 15% refund. Honestly worst pair of headphones. Stick with what you know. Total scam!
