From start to finish the interaction with Otter windows has been great. From the initial quote and checks all the way through to fitting has been easy and affordable.

After asking Otter for a quote amongst 3 other local window providers Otter trumped them all with service, availability, quality and most also cost.

We had Mark as our fitter who arrived ahead of time (normally your left waiting) and from his arrival it was a pleasure. He was welcoming, kind and very professional with the work carried out. Conversations with Mark were easy and he pointed anything out such as the trickle vents and seals etc. very happy with the whole process and will be using again to refurbish older windows within the house.

We had a new front door fitted recently I’m really pleased with it. Mark did a great job as it was not an easy one to fit due to the previous door being a smaller then standard size.

I was very impressed with every part of the service I received. Polite, prompt, competitive price and a beautifully fitted door by Mark, who went above and beyond to do a great job. Would highly recommend.

From the first call we had great service, the survey was very thorough as it wasn’t an easy job, the works were completed to a high standard by Mark and in one afternoon.

Ordered through Launa windows but all correspondence is via Otter windows so now not sure who I'm actually dealing with.
Multiple problems from the start so strap in. The job was 16 windows, three French doors and front and back doors. The follow-on job is the rear of the house with 14 more windows, a 3m bifold and a 2m bifold doors.
I was told that if I paid the deposit in Nov 25, the installation would be before Christmas because that was their quiet time. That was not true and not achievable. It took weeks for them to get the spec right from small details like hinge colours to French doors and windows missed of entirely. I had to go through the spec multiple times to get it right and corrected mistakes seemed to reappear. The pictures in the spec didn’t always match the description because of issues with the software. I had to chase to get the surveyor booked because they forgot to book the appointment. Surveyor laughed at the Christmas install date. I had specified a dog flap in the back door which the sales guy said would be fitted. This was incorrect, I had to supply it. Surveyor said mid Jan for some of the windows and mid Feb for the doors. Couldn’t get hold of anyone throughout Dec either phone or email and feared they’d gone bust. Finally had someone show up and he got on with it OK but was missing various trim for windows and French doors. There was the wrong window handles on one window. Wrong locks on the French doors. One of the panes of glass was the wrong size so he put a piece of plastic in its place temporarily. He came back to fit the pane but brought the wrong size again. We’re in April and it’s still not done from Jan and no indication of when it will be done. They sent the final invoice when there were still three doors and three windows left to install. They fitted the front door mid Feb, still waiting for it to be finished. He was supposed to fit the back door the same time, but he couldn't find it in the factory. He was booked in to fit it but didn’t show up. He arrived a week late because he had been double booked. I had to ask where he was when he didn’t show. When the back door finally arrived, it was the wrong colour. There were so many errors on the spec, I missed this one, so they won’t even talk about it. He had to fit it because the old door had been ripped out. Either way, it’s still not finished and it wouldn’t open. They sent a subcontractor to fix the door so that it actually opens without kicking it.
Debris left on site since Jan.
Here’s the big one; the building inspector has said the upstairs windows do not comply with fire regulations. Launa’s reaction was that I should have “satisfied myself that they were compliant before they were fitted”!! They have offered a bodged solution.
I don’t know where to turn to now.

Very helpful and professional when making the order. Installation was quicker than expected and completed on time and to a high standard by Mark.

We had a problem with locking our french doors due to temperature variations. I spoke to Debbie earlier today and within the hour John arrived and adjusted the doors, solving the problem. Excellent service despite the doors no longer being under guarantee. We really appreciate such good service and would not hesitate to recommend Otter Windows.

We are delighted with our new windows from Otter Windows. They look great and provide added insulation which we were looking for. Ian and Chris were polite, efficient and friendly. They were happy to discuss the installation and worked tirelessly to complete the work in 2.5 days which was quicker than expected. They also provided a great finish and there was no clearing up afterwards. Thanks.

We had two windows replaced by Otter Windows and from the start of the process to the end everything was great and we were kept up to date with what was happening etc.
Mark, the fitter, was excellent! The quality of his work cannot be faulted the fitting looks really smart. He even patched up a bit of the exterior wall which made the whole thing look even better!
The price we paid was a third of the quote given to us by one of the big companies.

I am so impressed with the quality of service from the moment John arrived to give us a quote, then the surveyor came to measure up to the moment Bob and Terry completed the work.

Mark has just completed an excellent job fitting an outside door. We wondered about a recently painted wall but not a blemish to be seen!! Nothing was too much trouble, all given in a kindly manner. Cleared up dustsheet & debris & even wiped over floor area!! The surveyor’s knowledge led us to make a change which we are very pleased about. Debbie in Otter office is extremely helpful. Only criticism is with lack of good communication by Head Office which led to postponement re chosen obsure glass.

just had john from otter windows round to look at rear door mech. very knowledgable, helpful and honest in his appraisal of problem ..much differnt from the rush and bodge merchants who usually turn up for my general home repairs . highly recommend

Andy gave good advice on the window, Debbie was great at communications and Mark did a very good job fitting the window and then coming back to finish the outside of the window as weather conditions were not suitable for rendering
Overall, very happy with the job
