Disappointing Customer Service
I purchased a Pulse Pod from Opulus through Debenhams and was disappointed with the overall customer service experience.
The product I received was not the colour I ordered. More concerning was that neither Opulus nor Debenhams notified me that a substitute colour would be sent, leaving me unaware of the change until the item arrived. Over the following month, I spent considerable time corresponding with customer service representatives from both companies in an attempt to resolve the issue.
Despite the inconvenience caused, the only resolutions offered were a 10% discount (approximately £3) or the option to return the product under the standard returns policy. Given that the error was entirely on the supplier's side, I found these offers inadequate. At no point did I receive a meaningful apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience and time spent pursuing a resolution.
The product itself appears to clean my retainers effectively, and I have no significant concerns regarding its performance. However, the lack of communication, poor handling of the issue, and unwillingness to provide appropriate customer care have left me with a negative impression of the company.
