Once I learned how it works and how easy it was to use i would recommend the options card. I do feel it needs a few more outlets and shops to give a better choice.

A great gift card and a pleasure to deal with
Having used optionscard to buy vouchers for a wide selection of shops, I found it a great way to buy. However, when I had an issue with one of the companies (Roblox) and got no satisfaction myself, Craig at OptionsCard went above and beyond to help rectify the situation. He was also really nice to communicate with,which meant a lot at a stressful time.

Complicated to retrieve vouchers
It’s great to have a voucher that you can select where to spend it however there are other easier vouchers to use that accept most shops too

unclear payment instructions
it would not let me put in details properly to order off boots, it was either too long or too short and so hard to use this card, atleast put instructions when making a purchase, took so long trying to find out and all my items went out of stock… do better.

Hi and thanks for taking the time. The form filling is when you ask for a gift card brand to be send to your email, not when you use it. We'll have a think if there are ways to reduce this - but of course once you get say a €100 Dunnes Stores Gift Voucher for example you can use it multiple times without any forms. Hi I find that it’s difficult to use the options card as you have to wait until you know the value of your purchase in a particular shop and then send yourself a voucher making the transaction a lengthy process. It might be easier if you could use the card directly from the value left rather then having to email a voucher each time you need to make a purchase.

Thank for the feedback. The OptionsCard is a little bit different, and that enables us to add a bit more value to our customers in terms of pricing, offers and features. As a multi-choice gift card all the gift cards in our catalogue have 5 years expiry, so if you choose say €100 Aldi gift card you can spend €35 now in the shop and use the rest the next time.

The worst idea of a card
The worst idea of a card, can’t just use it or tap it, makes no sense why would anyone want to have to transfer there card over to another site, for example why can’t I just tap the card in Tesco to use it instead you have to go over to Tesco site from there site buy a Tesco card which is pointless for the options card why not just buy a Tesco voucher and there’s no need for the middle man the options card, or if your shopping came to €21 euro you cant spend the €21 you have to buy more vouchers to get it to €25. If it wasn’t a gift from your job or company no1 would ever use this.

We're always trying to improve the process and communication. If you can email us on support@optionscard with with specifics on what was unclear we'll review it. We get so many reviews saying "simple to follow", "easy to use" etc etc. so if there is something amiss we'd like to know to make it better.
