Worth the setup hassle
Putting this together was rough- probably the worst instructions I’ve ever encountered. However, once completed, I have been impressed with the product. It’s sturdy and reliable and after a week of abuse from our kids, it still looks great and hasn’t shifted at all.

We purchased two soccer nets for our grandsons for Christmas without knowing if they would fit in their backyard after the completion of a new swimming pool. The pool is in and there isn't enough room in the yard for both nets. Open Goaal allowed me to return one which had not been opened/used. It was a one-time exception which I am thankful they have accepted the return.

Both of my children use this system every day, even in the snow (we live in WNY). My husband and I put a small section of turf in a few years ago, so our kids could get the most out of our seasons in New York.

Great product
Fast shipping, all parts easily identified thanks to the labeling. The instructions could of been more detailed and it definitely takes 2 people to setup. The goal itself is amazing and my kids and sone of the neighborhood kids have been enjoying it. I am curious how difficult lawn care is going to be and will soon find out I suppose

For lawn care, it’s easy—just unhook the bottom of the net from the red pegs and place the corners on the middle pole hooks to lift the net while you mow. Takes about a minute and you’re good to go!
Net had holes from animals within 24 hours
Within one day of putting it up, I had holes in the net from animals. We live in a suburban area with a fenced-in yard. I would think that, given the price, the net would be more durable. Currently, the net only for the standard size is $219 and the entire standard kit is $223.99. I understand that animals can get into things and that I will need to raise the net at times, but the process for doing so is not easy and the net didn't even last a full 24 hours. I would not recommend this product. It's neither practical nor easy to raise and lower the net every single day and obviously necessary if you want it to last.

Animals unfortunately love to chew on sports nets, which is why our manual notes raising or sliding the net when not in use to help protect it. Once you’ve done it a couple of times, the slide-away process typically takes about 30 seconds, though we understand it can feel inconvenient at first. Unfortunately I misread the dimensions (my fault) and went off the picture (the netting sized up to the fencing looked to be what I wanted) and I even picked the junior size. When I took it out it was double the size! I thought I could tighten it up and shrink it but the design doesn't allow for it. Thumbs up to the marketing team, my suggestion would be to use a real life size picture but again, my error for not reading the actual sizes.

I needed a replacement for the side…
I needed a replacement for the side supports for our large Open Goal. Only the Junior was listed on the website, so I had to make it work as the goal had fallen to the ground and we were expecting a significant amount of snow and ice. Ultimately, I have ordered tent rope from Lowe’s to make future repairs. Our goal also needs a new net and I didn’t see any replacement nets on the site.

Goal seems good. Instructions were not super clear to understand. One of the bungies broke during set up. Once it was set up seems good but will have to wait and see.

Great product,superior company
This company is everything a customer hopes for. Quality products and great communication. They had a fantastic black Friday sale, and I'm excited to be able to surprise my teenage boys with the S3 table, ball, and carry bag. It was my older son's one ask this year, after having discovered them at Gilette Stadium with his soccer team. It will be a great solution to keeping up skills and burning off energy through the unpredictable New England winter. Directions need to be improved for assembly
The directions to put this together are awful. The book is very limited in pictures and english words to help you step by step and the video it takes you to online is also not very detailed.

I bought the OpenGoaaal for my…
I bought the OpenGoaaal for my 5-year-old son, and it has honestly been one of the best backyard purchases we’ve ever made. He absolutely loves it, especially when his friends come over – they spend hours kicking the ball around, laughing, and playing little matches together.
One of the biggest benefits is that it’s not just a goal – the rebounder means the ball comes back into play instead of constantly flying off into the neighbour's yard or down the street. That alone has saved us so much time (and frustration!). I also love that it keeps the game moving, so the kids stay engaged longer without having to chase the ball every few minutes.
