Avoid! Zero customer service skills!

Where do I start! If I could give this company zero then I would, avoid at all cost! I’ve had 2 and a half months of stress trying to get a refund. I ordered 2 sun lounger cushion covers from B&Q, who in turn ordered from this company, which I didn’t know was going to happen. The first order I never received. The second order was completely the wrong colour (I ordered navy blue snd got light grey!) The item was vacuumed packed so as soon as I opened the parcel they massively expanded and would not fit back into the original packaging. Because of this the company refused to collect the items and provide a refund. I said I could package them into alternative packaging but they refused and said I had take the bulky items to a drop off point. I felt this was very unfair as I was not at fault. They kept asking for photos and asking additional questions for over 10 weeks and I literally just went round and round in circles. At one point they stated the items didn’t look like they were from them and could I prove it! The stress of dealing with this unprofessional company with zero customer service is just not worth it. I will be mindful when ordering online of who the large store uses. I have complained to B&Q about Home Online Stores Ltd and have eventually received a refund. I have recommended B&Q have a look at the online reviews for this company on Google and Trust Pilot and review whether they should be using them based on what customers like me have gone through!

Horrendous company

Horrendous company.
Paid for express delivery on an order that was split into two deliveries, found out neither had my house number and street address on the label. First parcel went to some random house which I had no idea where it was and the second went out for delivery 4 times before it was returned to online home store. They processed the same items dispatched them AGAIN without my house number and street address, 5th delivery slot from yodel and again no parcel. Absolutely sick to death of this company and yodel is no better! I checked and checked and rechecked that my new order would have my full address on but it hadn’t! And they would only refund £3 of a £125 order!

I honestly wish there were an option to…

I honestly wish there were an option to give this company zero stars.

I recently purchased bedding that was not up to standard and proceeded to return some of the items the same day. However, I have now noticed that OHS has still submitted part of the order to Klarna for payment, despite the return.

This is very disappointing and raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness. Customers work hard for their money, and situations like this feel unjust.

Dreadful company - poor quality products and horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service getting 4 x faulty bath mats returned. It has taken me at least 8 emails back & to between myself and either a wooden un-empathetic customer service representative called Amanda, who simply could not grasp that the items were faulty.
The rigmarole to justify a return is horrendous - an online form has to be sent detailing request and then you have to upload pictures to prove but their system wouldn’t allow uploads of photos.
Amanda then said I only had 14 days to return quote “unwanted items” and I would have to pay for the return shipping. Think I was speaking a foreign language as we kept going round in circles as I kept reiterating that they were faulty and therefore I should not have to pay to return them.
Eventually (after 8 emails) she seemed to grasp the actual situation and sent me a link for a returns label - finally an end to this I thought but no….
I logged on to Yodel’s tracking and established that 2 days after I had dropped off the parcel it was back with OnLineHomeShop, great that Yodel is more than capable of fulfilling its role but sadly 2 weeks then passed and still NO refund.
Once again, I have to contact their Customer Support and told that it will take 2-3 days for a representative to get back to me. This time they need further proof of me sending the parcel! Surely there is a computer code on the label that links it to my order no or moreso - go on why not just open the parcel and hey presto there is a completed form, as instructed to do so, which clearly states my order number and details!!
I am now STILL waiting for them to get back to me yet again, clearly they are not willing to do this refund without me fighting tooth and nail for it.
Lesson well and truly learnt - cheap products means similar in terms of service and let’s face it, a lot of the stuff they sell is poor quality and badly made in reality. Never again and anyone reading this, with an ounce of sense, will realise that they should be avoided at all costs.
Hateful experience.

I have been waiting weeks for a scooter…

I have been waiting weeks for a scooter suitcase ordered as Christmas present for my grandson from Debenhams via their third party supplier Online Home Store. The item has been stuck at Evri who say get in touch with supplier which I’ve done on numerous occasions, the tel number is for OHS is out of service, very suspicious. We are not going to receive this item, Once again Ive complained to Evri and Ive emailed Debenhams ground level today to request refund, let’s see how promptly they respond. Nobody is taking responsibility meanwhile a child will be let down at Christmas.

I don’t even want to give 1 star to…

I don’t even want to give 1 star to this company, or Evri or Debenhams as a set of suitcases that went missing after I ordeeed them; none of these will resolve the issue for me. Debenhams got paid and are taking no responsibility as it was the “suppliers responsibility” Evri told me to contact the suppliers who already said it’s out of 30 days so nothing they can do. I paid for express delivery before my holiday but then was informed the wouldn’t be there on time. So I had to divert my parcel. When I got back home to pick it up, it wasn’t at the store. This has been going on since may 5th

Awful customer service

Debenhams/Home Online electrical throw

We bought an electrical throw last December for our daughters Xmas present. It hadn’t been used all summer and was plugged in last week and found to be faulty. Debenhams Online say it’s not their responsibility and Home Online Stores (Debenhams supplier) said they had a 9 month warranty which we’ve never heard of 🤷🏻‍♂️How coincidental !
They won’t replace it even though surely electrical goods should be covered for a minimum of 12 months. We will not buy off either company ever again.

I had no choice who was supplying as i originally ordered through Debenhams. Two chairs ordered. O got one incorrect chair. Returned the incorrect single chair and they said they would supply my original order within 24hrs. Two weeks passed so far and no communication or supply. Original order placed 2 months ago. They have my money i have no goods.

Don’t bother with OHS

Ordered 4 days ago, for next day….don’t bother with next day as it still takes at least 2
Business days. I’m on day 5 business day, no email from delivery company so no way to track and sent numerous emails and messenger. Shocking

If I could give this company zero…

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I ordered a travel stroller for a holiday on June 10th through The Range. It still has not arrived, and I don’t think it ever will arrive. The Range have not been helpful at all, and Home Online Stores LTD are impossible to contact. In the end, I had to get in contact with my bank. They have disputed the payment as the item was never received. Please do not order through this company!!!!!!

Sell faulty dangerous items and won't replace/refund

Heated clothes airer purchased from this company and used in line with instructions however the side of one wing came apart exposing live wires where you are hanging your wet laundry! Following a hospital stay I was delayed in contacting for a refund and they've now declined to refund or replace as outside 6 months which I think is really poor. No apology or acknowledgement during contact, just advised wont refund.
Not worth buying a product for it to break after 4 months.
From the reviews you can see others have broken too.
Would avoid and go with someone with less dangerous and better quality products and service.

dog coats

Received dog coats. Horrendous. Small fit my overweight Chihuahua and medium suffocated her. Weird sizes, cheap cheap cheap material. When wanting to return had to send email to request return. Then customer pays for return. Horrendous company will never order from them again. Products going in bin .

Heated blanket

I ordered a heated blanket and returned in original packing and requested a refund as not required. Returned on 11/12/2023. Have sent emails as telephone lines not working. What more can I do please.This item was not used. Product no.DUX023637193.

Do not buy - item not received

Emails were sent by them confirming order and shipping very official but then nothing. Royal mail sent me emails to say they will deliver on 2 occasions but then I got a third email from Royal mail to say they were unable to deliver as the tracking number information through royal mail showed as "INCORRECTLY ADDRESSED " so returned to sender.
Obviously I have attempted to contact through their Web page and emails, with my Royal mail proofs attached and as of yet nothing. So I'll be contacting my bank to claim my money back.

Poor

Ordered for the first time over two 2 weeks ago and nothing has been delivered yet. No response from them customer service email. No phone number to call. Seems like a scam tbh so I don’t recommend at all. I will be asking my card issuer to withdraw payment today. Shambles.
