Avoid One English Center at all costs. A very unprofessional company who stressed the importance of being professional. They have a rigid, unflexible schedule and will fine you $50 to $100 for a missed class (even due to a power outage or emergency). I did the onboarding, receiving great praise for my demo classes etc. and was told I would be paid the maximum rate E11.50 per hour. Spent countless hours installing apps and watching training videos, signed the contract and kept in regular contact with the manager, who told me to stand by for classes in the next few days. Then, I received an email to say they weren't proceeding. After two weeks of talks, setting up and training, I was also unfriended and locked out of our Wechat and Dingtalk accounts.
