i was trying to download 2010 roblox for

Downloaded an old version of Utorrent and ended up with a ransomware-trojan.

Broke my computer. Spent a whole hour trying to fix it, but gave in and bought a new one.

So I'm writing this review currently on a new computer but once I downloaded an old version of Firefox just because why not and my Windows 7 computer started acting funny. I first noticed that my computer started to literally freeze and all the Desktop icons would disappear. So avoid the site if you genuinely just want old versions

Viruses. I wasnt careful because i used this website before successfully. I should have seen the signs really... abnormally small executable was a giveaway but i still installed.
Horrible experience; everything shut down no browser, no task manager, no taskbar
Luckily managed to salvage essential data before formatting and reinstalling my operating system

It may have been good at one time but not anymore. They aren't proactive at keeping infected files out of it.

Just downloaded Paint Shop Pro 4.12.

Scanned the download with MSE and Malwarebytes.
Came up clean on both.

I should have suspected something when the download page gave me a "password" to open the compressed file. As soon as I put in the password, Microsoft Security Essentials immediately popped up telling me it was infected. HIGH Level. Virus or Trojan. (I didn't copy it down.)

MSE allowed me to select the infected file and delete it completely.

Point being that password protected archive files are "encrypted" and that prevents virus scanners from accurately scanning their contents.

Not happening again.

Have used this site plenty of times without issue, but today it infected my pc with a particularly nasty virus, just spent 3 hours digging it out. Once is more than enough, AVOID THIS SITE it is not safe

I downloaded utorrent 2.2.1 and first time, 2 weeks ago,my pc started to act weird, poping up a mozilla firefox screen with a mesage like "hello humans" ... Installing programs from oldversion.com will install malware on your pc.
