I had a really frustrating experience with Old Tribes. I ordered a jacket and they sent me the wrong size. When I contacted them for a refund, they told me I had to pay to ship it back—even though the mistake was completely on their end. After going back and forth, they promised to reimburse the return shipping cost, but I still haven’t received anything. This whole process has been disappointing and feels very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company at all. Seems like a scam.

OldTribes has shown a serious lack of honesty and professionalism.
They ignored valid affiliate earnings and used vague, inconsistent explanations to avoid paying commissions that were legitimately earned.

Their handling of partners is unprofessional, and the pattern raises real concerns about how they treat customers as well. Many reviews already mention issues with product quality, and I now believe those warnings are justified.

I do not recommend purchasing from or partnering with this brand in any way. There are far more trustworthy options out there.

My experience with OldTribes has been extremely disappointing.
They are not transparent, avoid responsibility, and refuse to pay legitimate affiliate commissions. The moment an affiliate generates higher earnings, they immediately find excuses to deny payment.

There are also many concerns about their product quality, and based on my experience, those negative reviews seem very accurate.

I strongly advise both customers and affiliate marketers to stay away from this brand to avoid wasting money and dealing with frustration.

So ordered a purse for my daughter, showed up in a flat container and continues to be a flat purse as it has no liner to keep the purse open. Looks ridiculous. Anyway, emailed company how to return and got an answer to look at the purse and they said go to the website. Well...did that and have to oay for shipping back to "original address". I do not know what the address is to send it back.

Also would have to pay for shipping back to return. Never again.

Old Tribe plays weird games with customers. Their long coat (so thin it does not function as a coat) was returned to them for $ back. They have lied, pretended it was not returned (Cost $52 to return to Canada) and fought so they do not have to return my payment. If you have nothing to do, this company will keep you busy with their gaslighting and lies, you will never get your payment back regardless of their promises.

So sad I was looking forward to ordering from this co. But after reading just the first few comments. I don’t want to get tangled up in that wreck of a site. Thanks for the honest comments and sorry you guys had so much trouble with this company!

Really poor quality bkanket.
Size was not as described, colours were not as shown in picture , dye used was smudge across other colours and there was damaged on the banquet due to bad stitching.
Contacted company 2 days ago, 0 replies.
Tried to write negative review in their website and when pressing 1 star it appears Error code and don't let you write reviews.
Never buy from them again.

I ordered a poncho-style coat (Hooded Poncho #2) from this website, oldtribes.com.
I normally fit a women's size small, so to be safe, I ordered a women's medium.
When my order came in, the jacket was 2 or 3 sizes too small in both torso and sleeve length.
I left a review of 2 stars for the item on the website, stating that, despite the material being very nice, it was way too small, and that I wished they had listed the size dimensions so I could have determined sizing would be an issue before purchasing.
I looked through the other reviews for the other poncho-style coats, there was another review on Hooded Poncho #5 that stated the person was displeased with their item and they left 1 star.

The website has since deleted my review, as well as the other negative review.

Update:
I have posted my review on their website 3 times now, because the company keeps deleting it.
They also deleted yet another negative review for Hooded Poncho #9 from a man named Richard who bought one of these for his wife and was left disappointed with the sizing.

They boast of having a +4 star rating... what they don't tell you is, they filter reviews and they don't let the bad ones stay up.

Not impressed. Would not recommend.

This company could stand to update their reviewing system so they cannot delete reviews from verified buyers. They also could take a little constructive criticism about providing size dimensions.

This interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be shopping there again.
