Ashton was excellent at answering all my questions. She is a proud employee. She admires the owner Sabrina. Ashton made mention of how much the company cares for the clients and our beloved pets. Rarely, do you hear that kind of passion when it comes to insurance. I immediately felt at ease for a first time pet insurance owner. Happy to have Odie on my side🐾🐾

My insurance was transferred after the bankrupcy of ManyPets. I submit a regular annual physical check and got asked 18 months of medical history but still got kicked between wellness & illness exams and ended up getting rejected by both. I don't know why it is so hard to reimbust something so straightforward. I am looking for a new insuarance company right now.

Highly recommend Odie Insurance to anyone with a beloved furbaby. When my 14.5 year old Bichon Frise girl got sick (and eventually diagnosed with an aggressive cancer), Odie was there. I spent over $9k in total finding out what was wrong with her and then trying to treat her until we ultimately ran out of time. I'm in independent insurance agent and I don't say this about many carriers, but Odie is wonderful. They reviewed and approved ALL of my claims with a reasonable time frame, and even reimbursed me for premium I paid for her policy after she had passed without requesting it. They are the BEST. I just rescued a 2 year old Maltipoo, and immediately signed him up for a policy. Thanks Odie!

I have insured my Labrador and consistently paid premiums for four years without filing any claims. Recently, I submitted my first claim for treatment related to diarrhea; however, it was denied. Due to this experience, I decided to cancel the policy.

Four stars otherwise would have been 5 due to not being able to be connected to the person I needed to talk to right away but had to wait up to 72 hours. Was glad though that I got called the next day.

We've had Odie Pet Insurance for about a month. My son recommended it to us after we picked up our Chocolate Lab puppy, Daisy, from a breeder in NH. The coverage is very good - covers both accidents/injuries and wellness visits to the vet! We had a small issue with Daisy's temporary name being changed after I signed up for the policy, but Odie worked with us to resolve the issue. They fully covered our initial visit to the vet and reimbursed us within about 1 week. Their customer service team is very good. Their underwriting team is very thorough so make sure that all your paperwork is correct before submitting it. I would recommend Odie Pet Insurance to others.

The worst insurance. Wouldn't process a claim for an ear infection because I didn't have a medical record of her prior to being a month old!! (she's 4).

Odie took over my previous company Many Pets. I filed a claim and Odie requested a full medical history and physical for 18 months to which I sent. They continued responding saying the history wasn't sufficient and I had sent everything my vet had. Not sure why they didn't have all the records from Many Pets. They still didn't process the claim so I discontinued my policy. Would never recommend Odie as they are awful.

I have spoken to Ashtin twice and she goes beyond and beyond to get you the answers that you need. She's a stellar customer representative! She promises to call back and she does to provide with you feedback. You feel very relieved when you know she is assisting you with a stressful situation! Cheers to Ashtin!! However, the reviewing and approving your claims takes a while and I feel that you need to follow up to make sure it's not forgotten about. I know there are alot claims being processed, but as a pet owner we are trying our best to take care of our furbabies and sometimes it's hard waiting so long to get the claim processed and approved to get your money back.

I can not say alot yet because I just got Odie pet insurance. But, I was impressed with the insurance offered. It was very compressive. It was also the best available price for the amount of insurance that I felt I needed for my dog. I was also pleased with their application process, it was quick and easy to navigate.

So far, I am extremely impressed with Odie pet insurance. They’ve been very clear regarding what they need when requesting documents and the reimbursement process has been fantastic. Jofer was exceptional with his customer service- patient , never rushing me, making sure I was heard, clear with explanations and escalating my claims to the next level if I needed assistance. So glad Odie stepped in when Many Pets hung their customers out to dry. Past policy owners were able to keep pre-existing condition coverage rider. Just be sure to submit your pets records that started 18 months before you started old Many Pets policy. Thank you very much Odie.

However, I thought I would have received my claim payment/reimbursement in my checking account, but I have not. It was supposed to be sent ACH.

Like others have said, if I could give this company zero stars I would. My ManyPets (MP) policy was transferred to Odie after MP ceased operating in the US. I was told that Odie would cover any conditions that MP did for my dog. After fighting for months to even get my policy instated (they claimed they could not process my credit card despite the number being correct and therefore cancelled my policy for lack of premium payment) so I could submit my claims, they denied them as preexisting conditions.
I sent them proof that Odie had covered these claims and had not considered my dog's allergies a pre-existing condition. Odie responded by say I could appeal the denial and in doing so I would have to jump through a bunch of hoops. They said:
"If you would like to appeal your claim, you must provide official documentation from your veterinarian supporting your reasoning.
Please provide official documentation from your veterinarian stating that the symptoms/conditions that were present at the claim visit are not related to any pre-existing condition noted in your pet’s past medical history.
We have also attached our Appeal Form to this communication. This form must be completed and submitted alongside the requested documentation."
I should not have to submit anything! As a MP customer, part of the deal of the transfer was that if MP covered the claim, so would Odie.
I have demanded that either they cover the claims or they refund every dollar I have paid them.
This company is garbage.
If it were possible, I would give zero stars. Over the last year since being transferred from many pets, I have found claims take at least 3 months with frequent updates that delays are related to a high volume of cases being reviewed. (This is an illegal reason for prolonged delays for A YEAR in PA, feel free to reach out to the state insurance bodies 😊). They will find any miniscule reason to deny your claim, such as a un-confirmed diagnosis differential from years prior. Don’t worry, if this happens, you have the ability to submit a packet of documents along with a provider’s note indicating why they stand by the applicable diagnosis (not a random different from 5 years ago) and you can still be denied. Please know you can switch to another insurance company and carry your pre existing conditions! This is the only reason I stayed with Odie, because I didn’t know this was possible. My mother and I have both transferred to a company (METLife) who is a part of our employers pet insurance coverage. BEST DECISION EVER! Metlife even offers coverage for holistic/alternative therapy, grief counseling, and discounts for first responders/active military/veterans/healthcare professionals (human and veterinary).
Like many others, my ManyPets account was transferred to Odie after several years with ManyPets, whom I was very happy with. I had four cats insured through ManyPets, including one with multiple medical issues, so I initially planned to stay with Odie and give them a fair chance.
Unfortunately, from the moment the accounts started moving over, the service noticeably declined. When it came time to transition my one cat’s policy, something as simple as adding his account to their dashboard became far more frustrating than it should have been.
I tried calling customer service repeatedly and could never reach anyone. Email support often took days or even weeks for a response, and when replies finally came, they rarely resolved the actual issue. It became an exhausting cycle of poor communication and no real support.
Eventually, the experience became so stressful that I canceled all of my policies — including coverage for the cat with ongoing health issues — because my peace of mind was more important.
I would never recommend this company. I’m deeply disappointed that ManyPets chose to transfer loyal customers to a provider with such poor service.
